      I purchased a Groupon 4/19 for ***************************** in *** ** for ***** and never received a confirmation or voucher. They no longer have a live person u can talk to and u can only email support. They are saying they cant find transaction but the money was withdrawn from my account. I will never purchase another Groupon its not worth the hassle to save money.

      On 12/28/2022, my nephew and I bought 4 tickets online for the Hop-On Hop-Off ************* bus ride; $156.80 each on 2 different credit cards. The tickets were never available to ** within a reasonable time frame, nor they sent us copies of the tickets at a later time. We called their **************** and never got an answer. We immediately disputed the charges with our credit cards with no luck. GROUPON never proved that the tickets were made available or used, I tried to resolve the situation without any success, they adduced all kinds of legal jargon like The Fine Print on the deal, but yet they never proved anything.

      Purchased a trip on the ************** through Groupon, the ************** had to cancel my trip on their end due to an engine malfunction Groupon mentioned they were not able to give credit or a refund. What a sham of a company.

      Way to go Groupon, I was trusting you for prom. Groupon carries Bravan suits, they cater to people to are a bit taller than average with a slim frame. As a mom of a boy who is over six feet tall with a 29 inch waist it's hard to find good suits. So I ordered one two weeks out REALLY excited that he would have a good suit. Except it never shipped. When I contacted them I got a canned response with an invite down their rabbit hole. Senior prom is HUGE. You have very efficiently ruined it. Shame on you and how you handle customers.

      Paid for a voucher and got charged it never went through to actually use voucher but they sent me a email saying my card was declined my bank says different. it's a scam

      Amazon should consider offering merchant services by creating a competitive advantage and cornering the merchant exchange/delivery market. On the surface, Groupons customer service is nice-nasty when communicating via email, yet the end result will leave consumers completely frustrated. I purchased laser hair removal service through one of their vendors who never answered the phone or returned my calls. As a result, I contacted Groupon to request a refund. My frustration was taken to a new level after communicating with a SUPERVISOR, ******. Bottom line, I was due a refund of $113.60. After exchanging approximately 25 emails about a simple transaction, and after receiving a written email that my refund would be processed, I received this response below. I have requested a refund via paper check and will now contact major newspapers to see if the light can be shed on Groupons practices. I have also contacted Amazon about possibly implementing a strategy and adding merchant services to their platform. Amazon would excel in this arena. It is time for Groupon to close its doors. Groupon cannot control their merchants behavior, at the very least, I expect to have my issues resolved and not intensified when contacting Groupon about an issue.

      Groupon did not answer to my request when I submitted it through PayPal, chats, and emails. It does not have a direct phone number for customers to talk to a customer service representative. The chat and email options do not solve issues and as soon as you write "refund", Groupon system stops receiving messages and/or blocks you. I am glad I did the transaction through PayPal. Due to PayPal Groupon answered the last email only because PayPal refunded my money otherwise Groupon will never answer and make the refund. My request took almost one month to be solved thanks to PayPal this bad experience ended. Groupon has the worse customer service; it is a scam. This has been the worse experience ever. I will not recommend Groupon at all. I recommend all customers to take screenshots for every conversation you have through Groupon chats and emails. That was the evidence I sent to PayPal as a backup to get the money back.

      i am a groupon merchant i sell my services on groupon and i can never get anyone to correct the deals they are selling online for the past 5 years and no one is able to help me.. i have been losing money for 5 years now and have sent the change of ownership proof 5 years ago when we bought the business and 5 times this week alone. you can never get anyone on the phone to help you and email support is an exercise in futility! NEVER do business with Groupon.

      We allow the use of Groupons at our 18 shops to give savings to our new or existing customers. When we have issues with Groupon, we tried calling their toll free customer support. The message repeats twice and hangs on you. There is no one to be transferred to and no options when you call in. Everything is done online. Their chat only "appears" to be live, but I have tried to use it several times over 3 months and no chat bot or chat agent ever engages with you. It's just dead air. If you fill out a support ticket online, it has taken 2-4 weeks for them to respond, and they never answer any of my questions. We want to honor any existing Groupons so our customers don't have a bad experience. We'd like to stop using Groupon. I tried halting the campaigns from going out to any new customers, but was told if we do that, then the existing Groupons out in the world for our stores would be invalidated. That is not fair to our customers and can hurt our business. So Groupon has us over a barrel. They refuse to help us and refuse to stop future Groupons from going out.
