      On December 12, 2024 I messaged Voipo customer support staff requesting a refund for unauthorized charges in May, July, September, October, November, and December totaling $1,100.00 Voipo customer support indicated "a small batch of renewals may have been processed earlier than they should have due to an error with our automatic payment system" in a message dated January 24, 2025.I have yet to receive a refund due to the automatic payment system error.

      I have been a Voipo customer since 2016. In April 2024 I paid $185.00 for biennial service renewal. However, since that April payment my credit card has been charged for biennial service renewal six additional times. These charges, each for $185.00, were unauthorized. I need the charges reversed for the last five credit card charges made on July 14, September 21, October 14, November 15, and December 10 for a total of $925.00 ($185.00 x 5). I made Voipo aware of this on December 10, 2024 and requested a refund. After I declined their offer from ******* *. of an additional 6 months of service for each renewal period that they charged me for, I received a reply again from ****** *. stating that he would request the 5 invoices to be refunded for the total of $925.00, and it may take up to 30 days.On Dec 20 I received an email from *** *. stating: "I see that billing ticket QQB-657-***** is in our billing queue, and the refund request is being processed by our billing team. I apologize for not providing an update as of yet. We are working through a backlog of refund requests because a billing system error on our end caused a large number of amounts to be created.Refunds may take up to 30 days to process, but our billing team will handle this as soon as possible. Thank you for being patient and understanding."I requested an update on February 4, 2025 and received a reply from **** *. on February 12 stating that the refund request is still pending processing by the billing team and he does not have an ETA as to when the refund will be processed, and that the "Billing team will get this resolved as expeditiously as possible."It's now approaching three months since Voipo was made aware of this issue, with only a promise of a refund "expeditiously as possible". I am no longer patient nor understanding. My request is very simple: Refund the money that was wrongfully taken.

      I purchased 2 years of phone service from VOIPO for $185.00 in January 2024. They then charged my card multiple times for $185.00 on 7/14/2024, 9/22/2024, and 10/15/2024, all without my authorization or knowledge.I requested a refund for the unauthorized charges and received a response on 10/2/2024: Ticket ID: ************* Subject: Unauthorized bills We will move this ticket to our billing department so that the refund can be processed. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to be reflected on your credit card.The refund was never processed, and the last unauthorized charge on 10/15 was after I requested a refund for the first two. My bank has cancelled and replaced my credit card because of the fraudulent charges, so I request the refund be paid by check.

      I received invoices from VOIPO today via email indicating they issued refunds for 5 of the 6 unauthorized charges.  I have not received indication of a refund for the first unauthorized charge made on 7/8/2024 in the amount of $185 for a renewal period of 10/15/2026 through 10/14/2028.  I will need all 6 unauthorized charges refunded for this matter to be resolved.  Please expedite this refund.uld be processed within 30 days. The 30 days has come and gone without a refund. Each time I inquire about the refund, I do not receive any response from VOIPO. Attached is are screenshots of account activity and communications with VOIPO. Please assist in pushing VOIPO to honor their commitment to provide a full refund.

      I have contacted them multiple times regarding this matter.  Please see the email communications below.  As of this writing, I'm still owed $185.00  They refunded all but one of the erroneous payments.  They stated that they can not refund one of those erroneous payments to my credit card.  They did not explain why and stated that they can refund it via ****, ******, *****, etc.... I asked them to send it via ******.  As of this writing, they keep apologizing for the delay but not doing anything about it.  

      Please see the attached communications document.  I have contacted them at least a half dozen times with the last one being 2/4/2025.

      As stated previously, VOIPO placed six erroneous charges on my account, each for $185. They refunded five of those charges and informed me that the sixth could not be returned to my credit card. Instead, they offered alternative payment methods. I selected *****, but as of this writing, I have not received the final refund.
      In their latest communication, VOIPO claimed, “We show that your refund was issued.” However, they provided no details whatsoever—no date, no payment method, and no confirmation of the amount refunded. Without that information, I cannot confirm that any refund was actually issued, nor can I pursue the matter with my bank. At best, this lack of transparency is highly unprofessional. At worst, it suggests an attempt to avoid refunding the remaining $185. I respectfully insist that VOIPO provide clear and verifiable proof of this alleged refund, including the date, method, and transaction details.

      Found and reported to the company that there were 5 two year extensions charged to my credit card without any of my involvement. I've been a long time subscriber to their "home phone" service which honestly has been pretty awful. I was charged on July 15th, September 21st, October 15th, November 15th, and December 10th $185 each time.i was provided a response that suggested that I could not follow-up to the response with causing a greater delay. I've waited 5 weeks and have not had any remediation. I've since also discovered that my experience is not unique (i.e. ***********************************************************************************************************).I will attempt to work through my credit card company but this is not a traditional fraudulent charge that their systems handle easily.
