VOIPO debited my account in March 2025 after I had already paid my bill in January 2025.VOIPO is a home phone provider and I have used their service since 2013 without issue. This time however, they debited my account without my authorization as I have always just paid the bill bi-annually myself. It is $185 bi-annual charge for service. I emailed them at first and received an auto generated email saying they were working on the problem and they would contact the accounting department to credit my account. Nothing happened so I tried calling them. I finally spoke to someone named ******* *** R who said it was some problem with accounting and he would take care of it. Of course that was April 10 and I have not received my refund. I have called several more times to no avail. I called my bank (***************) and put a stop payment on any further attempts to debit my account and I made a formal complaint to my bank today. I am at a loss to know what to do in this case. I have read dozens of complaints about VOIPO. Apparently, this is happening to lots of people being double and triple billed in some cases. Someone actually saying they cancelled and returned the equipment only to continue being billed. I continue to use the home phone service without issue. My account number is my home phone number. All I want at this point in time is for VOIPO to refund the $185 they debited without authorization.Business Response

On 3/5/2025 I had 6 charges of $185.00 applied to my credit card by VOIPO. I have tried multiple times over the last 2 months to resolve this by email and calling. No one will answer the phone and the only email reply is an automatic response. I am trying disputing the charges with my credit card company and they have not gotten a response from the company either.I had been a customer of ********************** since 2014 and had good service but it seems to be completely different now. Each charge of 185 would be for 2 years of service so I have been charged for service through 2039!BTW, I have never filed a complaint with the BBB and I have no idea if anything will become of this.Business Response

Company charged me two renewal fees of $185 three months ago and are not refunding my money of $370. I can not get ahold of them on the phone or live chat. One day I spent over 5 hours on the line during business hours and no one came on the line. Three other times I spent over an hour on line no one picked up. I submitted multiple tickets with no resolve. Two years I told them not to auto renewal and changed my card number and some how they got my new number.Business Response

I am a Voipo LLC customer since 2011. I first received an unauthorized charge $185 May 20, 2024 to extend two years of service from October 2025 to October 2027. I assumed that would be reversed but it wasnt. On March 3, 2025 I received two more unauthorized charges of $185 each. I requested a credit card refund of $370 on March 6 by message on the Voipo Vpanel. Instead my credit card was charged again for two charges of $185. I have sent additional messages requesting refunds for all unauthorized charges without receiving any replies. I am prepaid to October 2025 but do not want service beyond that date. The unauthorized charges would prepay service October 2025 to October 2035. Voipo owes me $925 for unauthorized charges on my charge card. This company has made NO attempt to resolve this issue for over a month.Business Response

The company Voipo has charged me twice for a service that was discontinued over a year ago. Their records show that they auto-billed me on 3/5/25 and 3/7/25. I'm disputing the amount of $185 X 2 or $370. The service I have continued with them is called "parking" and it is supposed to $36/year. That is also represented on their billing records, as paid.The are not responding to my calls or emails. Telephone calls either hang up on me or I end up on "perma-hold".Business Response

I have 2 accounts with **********************, one account with phone numbers **********************4) and an account with **********************8). These phone numbers all have annual plan options ranging from 24 to 36 per year or 185 for 2 years. 1) VOIPO since last June have charge one account **********) 9 annual payments for 36 each, pre-billing these phone lines to 2030. 2) VOIPO since last May have charged the other account (949<...>) 3 times, prebilling it to 2026.I have filed complaints to them since last Dec and they keep telling me to "wait for billing" resolve the situation. I have NOT seen any credit back to my account. I am requesting VOIPO to refund their overbilling so my account is current, no more than the current subscription period. VOIPO has fraudulently charged my credit card FIVE times.The most recent instances occurred on March 5 and March 7 for $185 each day. I immediately contacted VOIPO requesting a refund for $370, and I received a response that the matter would be referred for further investigation. I was advised to not reach out again, lest my request for the $370 refund be de-prioritized.After that I received no further response at all.I reached out again on March 28 (three weeks after my initial request) and was told that "the ticket is currently still pending with our Billing department."At this point it has been nearly five weeks. There is no excuse for a refund to take this long (particularly when my current subscription is good through December 2026 AND again, I never authorized these charges). I went through a similar experience last year. My subscription still had more than a year on it when they fraudulently charged me $185 on 3/6/2024. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the charge and when I did, I decided to just accept it as it extended the subscription far enough out that I'd have time to find an alternate carrier. However, VOIPO then made ANOTHER fraudulent charge on 7/14/2024 for another $185. I disputed this charge, and made it clear they should NOT charge me again. It took three months for them to finally issue the refund.This identical issue also happened the year before THAT, on 1/17/2023.I have been a loyal VOIPO customer for more than 15 years, since September 2009, but at this point I can only recommend that people steer away from them. I canceled my service with VOIPO in September of 2024. I have sent all the equipment back with my tracking number, which was received in October when I never received my refund of my money. I tried for weeks to contact them finally was told that the claims department was sitting on this and in February was promised a check in the within seven days. It never happened so contacted them again and received $131 credit back. I was shorted $54 then I noticed my credit card was charged two times on March 6 for $185 each. I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a hold of somebody to reverse these charges as they are fraud charges. I have tried four different numbers and have been kept on hold for over an hour on some of these calls was getting nowhere so I contact my bank. I looked into this matter I have found so many other people that the same issue is happening, this is not first time they have ran my credit card more than once I had to dispute charges back in 2020. The company does not reply and I feel they are taken peoples money without their knowledge terrible company for stealing peoples money!Business Response
