      Like others I see on here I found that I had been billed over and over for the $185 that was to cover two years of service. Starting in November there were 5 such ********, meaning I have paid on my credit card to the tune of $925 that I should be refunded. In two weeks they continue to say they are working on it and have a high volume - no wonder. I do love the service and really want to keep it but I want my money! The latest message response I got was it could take 30 days! I've already waited over a week. I am getting concerned that something is going on and they will suddenly go out of business and I will be out of the money!

      Basically like the other reports I've read, I was charged a total of five times for $185.00 each time without my authorization. I've been with VOIPO as a customer since 2010 and never had a issue until March of 2024 when the first unauthorized charge was made. Between March and November 2024 they made five unauthorized charges totaling $925.00. When I try and contact them by phone they do not answer. So I created a ticket with their support system and also filed a dispute with my credit card company. Finally they responded by canceling two of the renewals without issuing a refund and refunded the other three charges. They told the credit card company that they refunded me for all five. So I had to file a second dispute for the 2 remaining charges.

      Unauthorized billing. Billed for 5 renewals at $185 each. Complained in October of 2024 and have see no resolution or communications.

      In Nov. 2024 I noticed that I was charged 4 times between June and November for $36. $36 is the cost for 1 year for the phone service I have with VOIPO. I contacted VOIPO Nov. 11th about this issue. I attempted to contact them to get a status of my issue. The response I get is our support staff is very busy. We will get to you as soon as we can. Don't contact us again. At that point I asked for my service to be canceled. The service is still active and I have not received a refund. A ****** search shows this is a common problem. With many people complaining they lost money with VOIPO. I would like my $144 returned and my service canceled.

      I have had this service for several years (since 2015), the charge has always been $36 per year. I was going through my credit card bill at the end of the year and noticed several charges for this company over the entire year. March 6, $36.00, then again July 14th, another $36.00, than another on Oct. 13th another $36.00, then again Nov 15th $36.00, then again on Dec. 10th $36.00 and again on Dec. 28th. So instead of $36.00 a year, they have charged me $216.00 for 2024. I went to my account on their website to look at the billing and they have pre-charged me for the service up until 2029. I never authorized them to pre-bill me and charge my credit card beyond the current year. I have reached out to them several times over the last two week and received one response saying they moved my inquiry to the billing department but I haven't heard anything in over a week. As many other customers stated, because of this fraudulent behavior I want to cancel this service but I'm afraid I'll never get my money back.

      This has been a long saga to have 5 erroneous charges in the amount of $185 each for a total of $925 refunded to me. I started this effort 3 months ago. This has taken numerous emails that were rarely answered and phone calls where no one answered the phone. To date I have received 4 of the 5 erroneous charges. I am still due a payment from 3/11/24 in the amount of $185 which does not show on their records but does show on my bank account. Photos emailed to them demonstrating bank statements and their own records are being ignored. The chat out in the blogsphere shows numerous customers experienced similar billing errors. These were electronic withdrawals against a credit card on file to facilitate annual billing. For this latest request I received an email that the case was closed. It is not.

      I've had a toll-free phone number with VOIPO for over 20 years. The cost is supposed to be $36 a year. Instead, VOIPO has charged me $36 multiple times, on 06/05/2023 01/31/2024 07/08/2024 10/14/2024 11/16/2024 12/11/2024 for a total of $216. When I contacted the company, they said they had "billing errors" that caused overcharges to many customers. I was told that it would be at least 30 days before I could get a refund. These overcharges caused my credit card to go over my credit limit which costs me a fee of up to $40 per transaction! I've had "billing errors" from VOIPO in the past as well. While they claim it is just an error, it's actually a trend with this company. Because they automatically charge customer's cards with no emailed receipts, I didn't see the charges immediately. It appears to me that they've done this to hundreds or thousands of other customers, hoping the charges won't be noticed. Since I've been overcharged several times it seems much more likely to be a scam.

      I've had VOIPO for the past several years for a land line. A two year service subscription is $185.I've been paying for this for the last several years. Starting in September 2024 VOIPO has kept on charging my credit card every month $185. I have submitted a ticket and follow *** to STOP charging my credit card as my subscription is not up for renewal. I got a response from VOIPO customer service (12/4/2024) that there was a glitch on their billing system and this was going to be resolved soon. I have since then been charged two more ******** of today, 1/6/2025 I have asked again to stop billing my credit card incorrectly or to stop my subscription if they can't figure out how to fix the "billing glitch".

      VOIPO's overbilling of my credit card is so outrageous that it appears intentional. In just the past 2 months I have received 6 charges for $185 (on telephone service that costs $6.49 a month), all of which are completely unauthorized. Multiple complaints to the company to stop are completely ignored or responded to with generic responses that are inapplicable to the situation. Given VOIPO's refusal to cooperate, my credit card have been charged $1010 in unauthorized charges, for telephone service that was already fully paid up through November of 2025. This previously good company appears to be on the verge of bankruptcy and is just trying to grab as much cash as possible in advance of filing.

      In the last few months, since August 2024, I have been billed on a monthly basis or even twice a month in December for services that I should have been billed every 2 years ($185 each time). I have since requested a cancelation of the service, returned required equipment via **** (have tracking confirmation that company received it). Emails were not answered and many phone calls were not accepted (not even an answering machine). I was able to connect with a representative via phone just today (Jan 3rd, 2025) and have requested finalize cancelation and refund of the unfounded charges. I am filing this complaint since I have lost trust in hearing back from the company.
