      Amazon is quick to provide refunds; however, my complaint is that to receive credit to your charge card (which they hold on file) you must check the box to indicate this. Otherwise, Amazon has very cleverly made the default to their Amazon gift card, keeping an individuals credit funds so you will spend more. When you shop at any other retail store and return something, do you have to request that it be returned to your credit card rather than a store credit? The answer is no! Amazon is using its customers to benefit their cash flow.

      My granddaughter lives in **************** and I live in ********. I have sent numerous packages to her. Recently my orders are being returned to the vendor due to being damaged. This has happened 4xs in a row!!! I track my packages on the Amazon app each fine they are out for delivery. Then all of a sudden returned. Today I tracked a package and the comment made was unable to deliver incomplete address. Give me a break, its a military base. I called customer service and that person wanted ME to provide directions!

      Have used Amazon for virtually everything possible. Sunday evening I purchased a gigantic order for a college apartment. Immediately on Monday morning I realized the shipping address was one digit off. I must have been transferred at least 5 times. Nobody was able to assist. Not to be mean but honestly nobody understood that I simply needed one digit changed on the shipping address. In fact, I dont think Amazon cared. They promised to contact me today which is now the next day. Guess what??? No assistance and no call. Of course, I have been charged.

      I ordered a pair of workboots I badly needed from Amazon. I watched to see when the order would be delivered then my order just disappeared. I went into the app and got a message that my payment was declined because of information on my credit card. I then went in and reinstalled all of the credit card information and waited for the order again, same thing. The order was canceled. IO called customer service and was met with what sounded like an illiterate teenage girl who was of no assistance whatsoever. She transferred me over to the *********** ********** where I was met with another incompetent who, unlike his predecessor tried to lie on a recorded line about why I didn't get my order. He told me first that my payment was rejected by the third party vendor and I reminded him that I used the same card a week before and have been using the card for many years. He then told it was really because the order was canceled by the vendor. I pointed out that he kept changing his story and he stated that I was being abusive. I asked him for a credit on my account for my inconvenience and he told me he could only give me a $5 dollar credit. I asked for his supervisor and was greeted by what sounded like the typical customer service manager. Menopausal, man hating and I had to wait until she was done with her 15th cigarette of the shift. She then tried with the same lies and refused to help me. When I pointed out she was also lying she hung up on me. Nice customer service **********************. At least I was granted with the reassurance that many people in customer service are still rude, ill-informed, liars who take the offended safe space route when you catch them in a lie. It is refreshing to know that a white trash menopausal woman who has probably been without a man for the last ten years can reject a customer complaint and hang up on them. Great that these people have that power. You need to vet and train your employees better

      Amazon holds its customers personally responsible for fraudulent charges. I was even charged twice for fraudulent charges!!!!!! Amazon defrauds it's customers!!!!!!

      Amazon won't submit an honest review of a seller because it was about the seller and the product. I have a one star review of some chips and the seller and it's rejected. I said nothing negative about Amazon, but I don't have to like the seller and I don't.

      Amazon told me they were giving me a refund for expedited shipping when my item was iate....THEY GAVE ME A GIFT CARD TO MY AMAZON ACCOUNT INSTEAD OF A REFUND......A STORE CREDIT....they lied to me....over $10.00. That's the second time Amazon did that to me over a refund. Besides several times enrolling me into a prime membership without my consent or knowledge. I'm done with amazon.

      Closed my account because of THEIR DRIVERS not delivering to my address correctly. Instead of refunding MY MONEY for non-delivery & instead of FIXING THIS ISSUE WITH THEIR DRIVERS they decide to just close my account and thats it. Customer ****************** who handles this was absolutely no help at all and no other department is above them and no way to speak to this department by phone at all. (WoW) I have spent so much money with Amazon and have been a customet for so long that you would think they would handle things correctly instead of just closing my account !

      I recently had to update my phone with Amazon. I have health issues. Pretty sure I was drugged or poisoned for being a whistle-blower at GM.I can't work. Have occasional memory issues. Can't afford a phone or a credit card. I can't get into my account until I get the number updated. There is no option with out a phone. Every security question with my health issues required me to have access to my account. Or the credit card of family members I ordered things for. Which I don't have. I did ask for the issue to be escalated. To someone more competent on helping me. I was told to call back when I was Healthier and had the info. OR just create a new account. I guess that is a great way to prevent people from using any money left in the account. Nice Scam Amazon.

      Horrible company horrible workers unless you are not rich Amazon will treat you horribly I hate amazon
