TOOK A 25-YEAR-OLD 3 TRIES TO CANCEL MEMBERSHIP I accepted the 30-day free trail from amazon in December that had been advertised to me incessantly. After accepting the 30-day free trail, I proceeded to cancel the membership, following the directions given and was redirected to a page that read in big letters at the top of the page, "you still have x-amount of days to enjoy your Prime benefits until the next billing cycle" after reading that I exited the page. The following month the $16 membership was drafted from my account. once I noticed, I went in to cancel for the 2nd time. I then called the support number listed under the charge to verify the cancelations. Once on the phone with the *** she verified that the account HAD NOT BEEN CANCLED. The *** canceled the membership and refunded the most recent charge without asking; thankfully. After the call ended, I went back and followed the cancelations steps to see what I missed. On the page that reads, " you still have x amount of days to enjoy your Prime benefits until the next billing cycle" in big bold colorful letters, you have to scroll to the VERY bottom of the page and click the small button that says, "continue to Cancel". When the page loads its doesn't show a scroll bar on the side to indicate that there is more to the page. The verbiage reads like the membership is canceled; enjoy the services you have already paid for until they run out. ************ the largest online retailer, it's obvious that the company has spent a lot of time and money to create a very user friendly, simple way purchase online goods. That is how they have become such a successful company. This leads me to believe that this cancelations page is built in way to be confusing and deceptive with the hopes that members will not successfully cancel and more than likely never notice the recurring charge. This is an obvious effort to increase member retention and trick costumers into thinking that they have canceled when they haven't.Review fromnathan d

My Amazon package was delivered to the wrong address. The pic showed wrong doorstep. Icalled Amazon, they refunded me back the 20 dollar thing but said I had to wait, tomorrow at 6 pm for 150 dollar thing. nothing shows i call back. then they say I have to file a police report. I've never heard of anything like this before but hang up call police, officer come out. Cop says it sounds very weird agreeing with me but files the report. I thank the officer he does his thing. and then writes down on a piece of paper the event number his name and badge number. I call Amazon. they're still saying they wont refund or send me another. transfers me to a "supervisor" 20 minutes later this lady I wish I had got her name but I got upset and she started doing this thing where when I talked she talked so that nothing was intelligable . I've never experienced that bad of customer service EVER. Im a ************************* at a **** dealership too. I will never buy anything from Amazon again specifically because of how that "supervisor" treated me. NEVER AGAIN. everytime I've had an issue the customer service has been pretty poor but they usually solve my issue. but because the way she was communicating with me I couldn't even get directions on what to do. and this is 150s of my money that Amazon still has after I file this I'm going to call them again and see if calling in the morning there's more professional people there. but i've just never experience customer service that bad she talked when I talked and then she argued with me saying I lied when I told her I submitted the police report to them. but she was soo confusing like I felt like the goal was just to make me give up in frustration and I just don't have a lot of money and this package was really important to my 6 year son and I just feel like people should now about this and I will never buy anything from Amazon again. I'm going to tell everybody I know about this. it was disturbing how the "supervisor" treated meReview fromShannon P

Amazon needs to be held accountable about the promised delivery date. They are constantly stating the delivery date is one date, then on that date, it will say Delivery changed to (another day in the future). This is not fair. I often place an order based on the delivery date. Here I am again, put on hold. Their customer service is absolutely no help and often leaves me more angry with Amazon. The unfortunate thing is that Amazon is so big, they really don't care if they lose a customer, but sometimes that is the only place I can find something. It's frustrating and it's bad businessReview fromJulie R

I have bought things over the yrs from Amazon and most of the time happy with customer service! However recently I bout 3 tubes of eye ointment for my cats from a third party called GNS I believe the name was! My money was taken as soon as I ordered and never were the 3 products received! They kept saying it was delayed so finally in Feb I cancelled the order since it still had not been shipped! As soon as I canceled the pic of the order and anything about it disappeared! On my bank statement it shows where the money I paid was taken out of my bank acct! I have never been refunded and this co owed me over $90.! I got the run around or false statements from Amazon saying on their end this third party seller had never taken the money! I have opened a claim with my bank and hope to get my money back but may not! I will never shop at Amazon after this experience! They dont honor their so called policy and it seems they dont care if these sellers are ripping customers off or lying about what they are selling!Review fromLeslie M

I ordered a case of Popcorn On Jan 3rd,2025. States it was deliverd on January 31st. That is not true. It was delivered on February 2nd. Which was exactly too late to be eligible for return. I ordered a case of popcorn, 10 packs. I received one pack, that was crushed. Amazon keeps rejecting my reviews. Stating I apparently can not complain about delivery or damage.Review fromRicki P

Amazon mailed me a $14 pair of men's socks and told me to keep them for there mistake. I give them to someone who didn't have any clothes. But I ordered snow boots that was $52.99. Amazon is now refusing to give me back my money because the first **** i spoke with said keep them. **************** was so rude. Every person I spoke with making sure they kept my $. I bought an Amazon Echo Dot, it's supposed to give me access to my voice chat transcripts as part of the service. Yet when I request the transcript from Amazon's website, it only gave me temperature data instead. On their website, I can see my chat history, so I know they have it, but it won't let me export it as a .CSV file the way it's supposed to. I talked to their **************** and they could not solve the issue, they just kept telling me to keep exporting the data and waiting 24 hours the second time, then they wanted me to wait one whole MONTH the second time. I needed this data for a project that was due within a week, and they failed to deliver it. Beware that the Echo Dot services are not what they promise, you can't access your voice transcripts reliably.Review fromJames A

Lazy and incompetent doesn't even come close. I'm disabled yet more often than not they s**** up deliveries. The regularly refuse to bring items to the door (I'm in apartment) instead their lazy as h*** drivers turn around & go home early before delivering. When they do show up more than a week late they go out of their way to refuse delivery but instead throw the item into the street in the snow even instead of bringing it inside to my door as their supposed to. So why the h*** should they keep getting nearly $12 a month on prime for deliveries when their too damned lazy to do their jobs?Review fromAlexandria K

I had been an Amazon Prime member for years but let my subscription lapse last year as their quality had been decreasing. I came back to Prime less than a week ago for the sake of convenience; however, I just had to pay an extra shipping fee for same-day delivery on a medicine as I was not able to get to the store. Amazon never even shipped the product. When I reached out to Amazon, I was told shipping errors happen and there's nothing they can do. They promise same-day, do not deliver, and then do nothing to remedy it. Bad business, beware!!!Review fromAndrea S

Amazon is selling author's books higher to buyers than the actual price rate. The authors are closing their profiles, asking Amazon to take down there books, however, Amazon still sells the books. The Amazon deliver these books to: ******, Lighthouse Source, and foreign bookstores at a marked up price.
