      Longtime Amazon Prime member here but not for long. Recently I have been getting items that were missing pieces or the quality was low and I've had to return. I ordered two allegedly high quality garment bags. The bags were not cheap, nearly $15 each after taxes, and I expected to store two expensive dresses in them. Well about 32 days later both zippers were broken and this is after only opening and closing each a few times. They were not stuffed and each only held one dress (prom dresses). I knew they were outside of the return window but with the recent issues I have had with quality and missing pieces I decided to write and complain. I chatted with a *** who quickly offered me a refund for the bags. I didn't ask for one, but appreciated the customer service. Because of this, instead of trying to eventually ***air the zippers I disposed of the bags and purchased 2 more in a brick and mortar store so that I could see the quality before purchasing.After about a week I wrote and said I didn't see the refund, and was told I was asking too early and that it had been processed and I'd have to wait longer. So I waited about another week and no refund. Called again and the *** said no refund had been issued. Proceeded to go through more than an hour of dealing with ***s only for them to continue to not honor the refund I never asked for but that was offered to me. I eventually told them forget the refund but I wanted to issue a complaint because I ended up disposing of the bags since they said twice that a refund was pending. So now I have no bags and no refund through this Amazon transaction. Since they said I had no way to file a complaint directly with Amazon I decided to write one here. For the record I have never had a stolen package ***laced by them or anything else that they had to take a financial hit for. I should have been accommodated as a valued longtime Prime member. I guess I wasn't valued. **************** lied. ****** learned.

      Every time I order the gaming controller they are defective I return them but it takes Amazon two weeks for them to even open the package to attempt to give you a refund this sad I spent $175.01 and now it seems like Im not getting my money back pitiful service

      I needed an item prioritized so I joined Amazon prime for this. They shipped the item quick all within 2 days but unfortunately it was not needed anymore so I had to return it. It has now been over a week since I dropped it off for return (2/24/2025) and it still has not update. I am not sure why they are taking this long they sure are quick to process the payment but do not try to return it. Already got told twice by a customer service *** that a refund has been processed and to give it 3-5 business days but I have seen nothing back on my account. I am really disappointed in this company they should do better

      I purchased a laptop for school, I didn't like it so I sent it back for a refund. The card I purchased the laptop with was a virtual card from my school,but once I received my regular card that card I used deactivated. Amazon has had the laptop back for a month and said they can't refund my because the card I had is no longer active although the new card on file was linked to the last card, so I told them to mail me a check. Amazon customer service **** and supervisors are liers. Wouldn't refund me my money after receiving there product back. Was supposed to issue me a check and every time I called I got a different story. I even have a email from a lying supervisor saying I would get my money by check. Each supervisor I spoke with was lying and one even got mad and hung up on me. I am a Amazon Prime member, I have Amazon App on my TV that I pay for and I buy from Amazon all the time, but I'm taking my business somewhere else. Extremely poor customer service and complete liers. They force you to take a gift card to spend your money only on Amazon. If I could it would be zero stars

      Ordered a chair through Amazon from ********. Over ****** a korser swivel rocking chair for a baby shower gift. Arms are missing. Can't get them to mail arm's. They gave me a *** label, *** wanted me to pay ****** to return it. Amazon refused to post my 1 star review that simply says . Arms are missing. So disappointed.

      Amazon has gone down hill dramatically. I used to always get my packages on time, now Ill order something important I needed quick , hence the entire point of the prime membership, and get delayed. The customer service doesnt help, they say itll be in the next day and it doesnt show. Can hardly understand any of the customer service agents either, I dont think any of them speak English as their first language. After a decade Im going to drop my membership

      FALSE ADVERTISING! Seemingly, Amazon is charging tax on each individual item (imho) in their "subscribe & save" option. I have placed orders (into my cart) advertising items at (for example) $14.21, only to be charged $15.60. Or, another example, item advertised at $20.99, but charged $29.99. When I am shopping and put an item into my cart, it is advertised at one price, then, when I get my bill, they have up-charged me. I find this practice highly abnormal, and I consider it false advertising! I can't think of any other company or store where this type of practice is acceptable. They also charge $16.41/month for Amazon Prime, "including free shipping and 2-day delivery", yet I have been charged shipping, and delivery times take longer than 2 days. This is *****, and I just ordered a birthday gift, which "should be" delivered on the 8th. (Even on the item page it said "delivery would be Mar 8"!) Yet, when I placed my order, it said it would be delivered on Mar 10! Then there are the times when people order what they expect to be a brand-new item, only to find it has been used & abused, returned, and re-sold! Is this not false advertising, as well?! I would like Amazon's operations to be investigated for deceptive practices and something to be done about their false advertising! (I am not sure which location to choose, so I chose their corporate headquarters in *******.)

      I left a detailed review about Amazon refusing to refund my money for an item that was sent with incorrect hardware. They asked me to take pictures and I did. They never sent the replacement item (Drawer) intact and refused to give me my money ($155.86) back to date.

      Worst company ever. I am on the phone with them multiple times per month about orders and deliveries they have screwed up. The employees are absolutely incompetent.

      Horrid service. Years ago they were great. Then they got big, over-extended and customer service tanked. Items now rarely ever show up on time and other times don't show up at all. When they do show up many times they're delivered to my neighbor when my house number is right on the front of our home. Absolutely terrible service. They take your money and now make it so hard to talk to a customer service agent, it's almost impossible. One used to be able to call for service and someone would contact you immediately. Now, that option is gone. Usually, only able to chat after a long wait and trying to get rid of their robot. I spend tens of thousands per year. No more. I'm going to look elsewhere to a place that provides customer service to spend my money.
