      We were promised a refund several times with online chat and text from Amazon about refund for a scam gift card but never received the refund. We have documents to show copies of chat and text.

      Amazon ****************** if I could give them a negative star review, I would. I have realized that I have had a reoccuring monthly charge on my credit card since July 2024 for a service noted under Amazon Prime. I am thinking that it is for a gift that I sent to ****** - using the Amazon.com account in the ***. Not only was I told to contact Amazon in ****** when I asked the customer service representative if she could call or email them on my behalf - the representative hung up on me. I am seriously considering giving up my Amazon Prime account and buying either local or from a specific company directly.

      Aside from this company falsely charging my credit card for purchases not made and returns sent in months ago, Id like to add that they also refuse to transfer to supervisors or managers when requested. They lie and say the department is unavailable and tell you to call back at a later time. Well when is a good time?? Doesnt ever seem like any time is good. This company is terrible now.

      I'll try to make this as short as possible. My son saved up enough money to buy a drone. He spent $800 to buy a new one on Amazon. After waiting forever for it to arrive, i dug a bit deeper and after researching online I found the amazon seller we bought from was a scammer. So I requested a refund, which was granted almost immediately, which tells me they knew of the scam. But then we had to wait 5-7 days for amazon to refund the money and another 5 for the bank to post ******* we decided to buy a used one for the sole reason it would arrive earlier than the brand new one. But once it arrived it was missing the battery. The $120 battery was missing and amazon insists it wasnt. So i initiated a refund but *** had to pick it up. there was no way around it. We were not allowed to drop it off at a *** store because it costs over $1,000 . But I work and my son is in school so it took 4 days just to get it to ***. Then the package got lost while being shipped and a 2 day shipment took 8 days to arrive. Now amazon has the package and they are making us continue to wait ANOTHER 30 days to get the refund credited to our account. That is saying they even give me a refund. By the time my son gets his drone from the money he slowly saved up, it will have been 2 months since the initial purchase. So would someone from amazon like to tell me what ****** I'm supposed to teach my son about saving money from working hard to buy something he wants??When you mess up this badly, you should do what's needed to make it right. Especially when your a billion dollar company and your customer is 8 years old and he just spent the money he had saved up for over 2 years to buy something. Moral of the story is #1 dont use amazon, but if you must, use a 3rd party app like ****** or Klarna for insurance to protect yourself from this big bully of a company.

      Amazon is usually great on everything but one problem I have is they sign me up for free trials of streaming services without my consent. They also don't allow you to cancel it in the app you have to use the web browser to cancel what you didn't want in the first place.I am giving 3 stars on account of how great they always are when it comes to their support and solving issues or giving refunds when needed but wanted to share my complaints of this shady business practice I mention above.

      Amazon is having technical problems!!! I tried to order merchandise, it said I needed parental approval from my 23 year old daughter in law, who has never been on my account. So I worked on the account for 3 evenings trying to fix my account. I removed all the old addresses and added only my address where I have been for 2 years. I attempted to cancel the account to no avail, then finally it appeared I could order, I attempted to order merchandise again and their site continued to show no orders in the past 3 months. The next morning I went to work and our monthly Amazon order had been declined there also, even though they already sent two items from the order. I decided to check my personal account again and the order was there but my address had been changed to an address from 2 years ago. I called customer service and after 40 minutes of conversation they told me it was my problem and refused to return my money. I'm done with Amazon and their messed up website!!!!

      Amazon has become a joke. Their delivery has gone way down hill. The reviews on there (in my opinion) are more fake than real. When you try to leave a bad review for a seller, they tell you you can't review a seller. They always protect the seller. Now the greedy empire makes you watch commercials on prime. It's not worth the yearly fee anymore.

      They gave me $30 credit 6 months ago and I try ti use it but won't let me. If I spend supposed to be Prime stuff or certain things that has nothing to do with me purchasing what I got to begin with or over $100 basically it's feasible so they can take my money just not let me spend it how I want. To me this is garbage I should be able to spend it however I want too and makes me not want to spend another dime. They chargex me twice last week. I just want the proper credit.

I WONDER HOW MUCH AMAZON PAID BBB TO NOT COVER THEM IN THEIR SYSTEM?SIGNED UP FOR AMAZON STORE CARD AND WAS AUTO ENROLLED IN PRIME. DONT WANT OR NEED PRIME. CANCELLED IT WHEN I GOT MY FIRST BILL WITH ***** OR 95 OR WHATEVER CHARGE FOR PRIME MEMBERSHIP. WELL AMAZON BACK CHARGED ME FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING. WHERE ON PAGES I SIGNED UP FOR CARD IS ANYTHING ABOUT PRIME? I WANT MY SIX DOLLARS BACK. I DIDNT WANT PRIME AND I DIDNT WANT EXPEDITED SHIPPING. WHAT A BUNCH OF THEIVES. I AM SURE I WONT GET MY MONEY BACK, BUT THERE WILL BE AS MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS DECEPTIVE PRACTICE TO ANY ONE THAT WILL LISTEN OR ACCEPT MY COOMPLAINT. THANKS FOR NOTHING BBB OF *******.
