      I agree with everything written previously. I have asked them 4 times to pickup my trash bins. I stopped service with them a month ago. Today I saw them pick up my neighbor's across the street from me and they never took mine. I called them and they said that the driver probably has a different route than mine. Really? Just another of many excuses. I also would give them a big fat zero.

      Now that Casella has a monopoly on waste collection in our area, they suddenly ****. Missed collections, complainants unresolved.

      I agree with a few others...if I could leave a review with 0 stars I would. I have never worked with a company that was more difficult to do business with. They refused to remove a dumpster when we were finished with it until we paid our bill. They also refused to send a copy of the bill that we owed for weeks on end. They kept telling me it was coming in the mail. I don't know about most of you....but we don't just hand over money without an invoice stating what we are paying for. When it came in the mail it showed a credit balance. To make a very long, drawn out story shorter, it took over a month and many phone calls with different people who had no idea what they were talking about. THEN....they charged my credit card - without my permisssion - for all of the extra time the dumpster sat there because they didn't know what they were doing. Of course, they could have charged my credit card without my permission a month earlier and removed the dumpster when we asked for it to be moved....but then they would not have been able to take more money from us. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!

      This company does not care about its customers. We used Boon and Sons with no problem for years, then Casella bought them out and we've had multiple problems with them since then. They are constantly skipping pickups and they offer no apology or solution. It's bad enough that their recycling tote is smaller than their trash tote and they only pick up recycling every other week, but then they skip pickups and make us wait another two weeks, which means we've had no recycling pickup for a whole month! When ******************** call to complain, they simply say they'll be here to do the normal pickup on schedule, which solves nothing. What about the fact that they skipped a pickup??? No offer of a refund, no special trip to correct their mistake, nothing. We are paying for a service that we are not getting. Neighbors leave their totes out and it's easy to see when Casella skipped our street again because the day ends and everyone's recycling totes are still full at the end of their driveways. If they would just apologize and make a trip the next day to correct their mistake, we would give them some slack, but they have outright skipped our street on multiple occasions and done nothing whatsoever to correct it. It's obvious their customers mean nothing to them so we will not be renewing their service.

      If I could give zero stars I would - I did not pick Casella, but they bought out my dependable refuse pickup company; from the very first week it was a call that they would not pick up, keep out tote until next day - next day I had to call and find out when are they coming; this was continual for 5 weeks. It was always me getting in touch with them - they never credited me for the week they didn't pick up, and said they would. Always the same "no truck in your area, a truck broke down, cannot get today, we will get tomorrow" tomorrow never came unless I called and had to practically beg, scream and cry to the service agent on phone. Finally gave up, cancelled, and it has been more than 15 days and they still have only picked up 1 tote at the road (why only one I will never know) went back to WM and they me cost $3 more per month, but they are reliable. Im sure fighting to get my refund back will be next to impossible. They should not have bought out another company if they could not do the job. I did mine by paying my bill and getting my garbage up - they did not stick to their end of the deal. Awful Company

      Terrible company! I paid for the year and they didn't give me the discount and charged me $80.00 more and will not tell me what their monthly charge is.

      (*********, ** Casella Waste) I called to close 5 accounts for a bunch of rental properties I sold on 8/5/2022 and to get a credit since I pay in advance for 12 months. They owed me a credit for 4 out of the 5. Without my authorization they went ahead and continued to pick up garbage on one accounts after the 12 month pre payment ended. The keep sending me bills for service at a property I haven't owned for over 4 months and late fees, etc. Told them I will not be paying and to take me to court. They hired a collection agency and they tried to get me to pay and I told them the same thing. It's not even about the money at this point but the poor business practices. perhaps they believe that some customers may feel intimidated and they'll just pay? Their 1 star review across all review sites and across all social media says it all. I would actually look forward to settling this in court. I will ONLY pay if a judge orders me to pay but I don't see how that would even be possible. Good Luck!

      Dealing with Casella was one of the most frustrating experiences. My garbage was not picked up for 4 consecutive weeks. I called customer ********************** each week to inform them, and they kept ensuring me that they made sure it would be picked up next week. Each week, it was not picked up. Each week the Customer ********************** Reps told me they would follow up by giving me a call to ensure my trash was removed. I never received any follow up calls. After 4 weeks of missed trash pick up, I decided to terminate service. Upon cancelling service, I was told my trash cans would be picked ** in 5-7 days. It took the company almost an entire month before my cans were collected.... The cans sat in my front yard for a month with 4 weeks worth of built up trash (because of the missed pick ***** The trash blew all over the neighborhood for the month. I had to call and complain for them to finally make someone come pick up the cans. I would never consider working with Casella again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone else.

      Wow...look at all these reviews..one star for Casella! Lol the guy I talked to from Casella about canceling asked me who we are switching to. I told him a local company. He felt the need to inform me that a few ppl have cancelled that company and came back to Casella ?? and no way they can be dependable and charge half the price as Casella. I told them that's funny because seems my whole neighborhood is switching to that company and leaving Casella, no one has said one bad thing about the company I'm switching to...but yeah..once he realized I wasn't hungry for his b.s. he became rude and smug. We will not be back Casella ??

      I would give Casella zero stars. They fail to pickup the trash and or recycle on time. Lilac and Waste Management did a much better job. Casella took on much more than they can handle when they bought out Lilac.
