  As others have said, the pickup service is inconsistent. Our trash and our recycle were supposed to be picked up this past Tuesday. I have called back 4 times for them to fix the issue. On the 3rd call they promised that the trash/recycle would be picked up today, but they never showed up. I called back for the 4th time and they tried to contact dispatch, but they couldn't get a response from them. I also agree with others that customer hold times are quite long. The representatives are polite but from my perspective they have never resolved any issues. Note that this isn't the first time that our trash hasn't been picked up. A little while back they never came and when I called to complain they told me to "just put it out again next week".... WHAT??I have been a paying customer since 2010 (previously & now) and the service in the past was very good. The past six months the service has go down hill.This is not ok & very poor customer **********************!

  I pay casella for twice a month trash and recycling pickup. They have failed to do so in a consistent manner. This month recycling has been missed twice. Their customer ********************** holds are long, and their representatives resolve nothing but are always ready with an excuse, never a solution. If I pay for a service I expect that service. Failures to complete that service while receiving payment for the service are unacceptable.

  Just moved into a new house and need to pay for garbage service. When pricing companies out, Casella had the best prices and told us all the great things they can do for us! Well, we signed up for service on 7/1 and it is now 7/15 - haven't had our garbage picked up ONCE yet. Bins have been out at the curb the entire time since we received our bins - Casella garbage truck drives RIGHT BY the bins that have their name on them with garbage piling out of it! We had to buy a dumpster because of all of the garbage we had with the move and new furniture and boxes from all of that. Every day we call them they have some sort of excuse as to why our garbage wasn't picked up - cans weren't at the curb (THEY ARE), drivers haven't reached our street yet (THEY DROVE BY TWICE), we will call you after 5:00 (NEVER DID), and my favorite is "we will send a truck for a special route to pick your garbage up" (NEVER DID - TWO DAYS AGO). Our new neighbors are all LOVING the bad advertising for Casella and are wondering why they haven't picked up our garbage and why it's been out there for 2 weeks. So much for choosing Casella for their "dedication to our customers....customized solutions that cater to your unique needs" that is noted on their website as to why you should choose Casella as your garbage service. I don't really have a unique need - I just need my garbage picked up on a weekly basis since I've paid for an entire 3 months up front. #casella #garbageserviceisgarbage #casellaisgarbage

  I heard positive things in the past regarding Casella which is why I wanted to try their services. Unfortunately, Ive had the worst experience!!I work long hours and this was to help eliminate stress and to help clean up my home, however, Ive had to call on more than one occasion to have a driver come out after they have failed to show up making the process impossible. I was assured today that the driver would be here and its 7: 25 pm as I write this message and the truck never showed. At this point, I refuse to pay for services and Casella can come empty the toters. DO NOT USE!

  Horrible service put garbage out never pick up. The lady on the phone was very rude. Told me they would come back and get garbage never did. Do not get them for service.

  Casella dropped a toilet in the middle of a busy road right in front of my house. Putting cars, motorcycles and cyclists in danger.When they were told they asked me to sweep it up. They didn't come back and clean their mess.

  Absolutely horrible service and horrible customer **********************. They do not care about their customers at all. Don't pick up garbage foe weeks at a time and do nothing to remedy the problem!

  I used Casella when we first bought our house in ******* **. They always liked to charge what ever they want for JUNK FEES - ( energy and Environmental $4-$8 on top of reg **** ). I had complained and they did nothing. I switched to Stateline and was charged $38 flat fee with great reliable service and with no extra JUNK fees for years. Guess who bought Stateline - Casella and back to getting JUNK FEES 2nd **** after the take over and after I called they said they would ***** the same price from Stateline with no fees all LIES. These Fees are nothing but a extra way to scam every customer for more money and they know they can getaway with it as no other services are available in my town at this time. Lots of unhappy customers in my neighborhood! Hopefully a new company will come to the town of ******* ** soon!
