      Im not sure how an A- is listed for this company when the average review is 1 star. We have been loyal customers for 12 years (although companies have been bought out). Their billing is very erratic and they accused us of not making payment and canceled the service even thought we have been on the same automatic plan with the credit card. We didnt find out until they TOOK the bins from our lawn this morning and LEFT the extra items we left out. They had left one message and no letter was sent. ***** ON THIS COMPANY for such poor customer **********************. They did not bother to check and are clearly incompetent. They have been nothing but a headache for us. There were times they skipped or were late for pick up with no explanation. They do recycling every other week while other companies do it weekly. Its hard to keep track of what week of recycling it is but they have no convenient schedule accessible online and refuse to add one. Its a blessing in disguise that this happened because we have been meaning to cancel their services.

      I have been trying to have a couch and loveseat picked up since last November. I was told to place the items out on my garbage pickup date and it would be picked up in the following 1-3 business days. After it sat there for 2 weeks I called again and received the same response. I left if for another 2 weeks and then brought in back in because of the snow. I tried again several weeks ago and this time I was told it would be picked up on my garbage day. After 2 weeks I called again and was told it would be picked up "soon". I'm not sure that they really even offer bulk pickup, but I AM sure that their service is lousy

      Worst service ever. They pick the garbage when they feel like it. customer ********************** is also the worst. I called to see why the trash where not picked up, and the girl said and I quote" I'm watching your house on ****** earth and your garbage cans are not showing!! So I said I'm looking at them from my window and she said that's not true. She said we'll collect them next week, when i know they come just about every day in the streets around me. I had so many stupid excuses from these people it's hard to believe. They dont know what call back is either, they never call back. ******** business!

      Twice in the past 12 months I've had my garbage pickup "paused" because their auto-pay systems experienced an issue and didn't charge me like it was supposed to.The first time, I received two automated voicemails and called customer support and was informed my account was in "good standing". I then had my service paused and had to call to find out it was because of a "missed payment" from two months earlier.This time, I received one automated voicemail, and still confirmed on the website that I have no outstanding balances or ********'s awfully suspicious to receive an automated voicemail requesting payment information, then hearing from the **** that the account is fine when you call directly. No security-minded individual would follow the voicemail's instructions.When they finally resolve the billing issue, they then make me wait a week to collect the trash. They should be more accommodating of their own technical issues.

      Casella Waste is the worst! I make my payment ahead of time every month and it seems like they just like to heckle their customers. The lid on my bin was slightly open, maybe 4 inches due to a bag not completely fitting...they increased my bill that month by $15 because I was "over the approved volume of my bin," I laughed when they said that because, due to the size of the objects in the garbage bin, technically I wasn't using all of the volume inside the bin. Customer ********************** couldn't comprehend this argument but told me that the $15 charge would be removed from my account. Now 6 months has gone by without it being removed from my account and I just received a letter threatening me to pay it. GET IT TOGETHER! -Former Casella Waste residential customer...wait, zero stars isn't an option?

      They pick up garbage when they feel like it. They gladly charge you for pick up even when they dont pick up. They are armed with an excuse for every complaint. If we had other choices, we would NEVER pick this company.

      This waste disposal service is absolutely incompetent. I've been a consumer for 3 years...too long. Because the monopolize my area. I have had nothing but issues with their service, for many reasons. I spend more time on the phone calling them to complain about how my service wasn't completed, or completed in full, more than I'm on the phone with friends and family. Missed pickups, half pickups. When I call, they assure me they are sending the lazy drivers back out to get my garbage and/or recycling. They never do show up. So, it's another call to them. They respond per cue cards... with empty promises and the "we are so sorry, this will not happen again" To my knowledge, they have NEVER compensated me for the frustration, paid services that were not completed, hours on the phone with them etc. BUT it ALWAYS happens again.. No accountability, never any resolution. For $50/mth after fees/surcharge, it's unbelievable that this company thinks this type of service is acceptable!!! I have lost SOOO much $ on them, for the dozens of handful of times they never completed their duties that they are PAID/HIRED to do. Absolutely disgusting business ethic!!

      Very unresponsive when there is a problem. Can't get to a resolution to make customer happy. Garbage not always picked up. Not enough human compassion when talking to customer service. The customer service end is more like company service and does not go out of their way to help the customer. Cancelling service was my best option.

      I have been using Casella dumpster services for 2 houses in ********** *****. While going through my checking account for 2023 and doing taxes, I find that they are double and triple charges my checking account. I called to attempt to rectify but ********* refuses to discuss the account, I even offered to drive to them so we could go over each month, ********* was rude and refused. After I filed my complaint they pulled both of my dumpsters. They are violating anti trust laws by buying up all the small businesses in the area to create a monopoly and then refuse to supply services to everyone. Guess we are off to small claims court because $661.69 in over charges just in 2023. Numerous messages have been left with Casella corporate and their complaint department with NO return phone calls. Also sent them a priority letter with tracking breaking the months down with monthly charges, detailing the over charges and they refused to respond.

      Casella does NOT do what the service departments says. Called for a pick up of trash . for over a week waiting to be picked up and it is still sitting in my front yard. Our community has Casella as our waste service... there is couch, mattress, rugs and old furniture in peoples yards for month....I called 5 days in a row and told each time a truck would be there to pick up... NOT HAPPENING>>> I will spread the word.Prices go up and service is poor. people lie and it appears the company doesn't care about our community or the person.
