My father had casellas once and he put something wrong in the recycle bin. The garbage man got upset and dumped the van and everything inside all over the road and was swearing up a storm complaining about my fathers mistake. It got the neighbors attention. We were not happy. Very in appropriate. Could have told my father what it was that he did wrong so we knew next time. We cancelled service and went with ****** Refuse. So much better service until for a whole month my fathers garbage was not picked up. To find out ****** sold company to casella sand took over. We had no letter or anything. Casella still charged my father for a month service that he never got. Casellas did not have permission anyway to do his garbage and they didnt pick up anyway and still got billed??? Im spreading the word because this is plain robbery and they are very unprofessional. This is the worst company. We switched to **************** and they have been wonderful. They even picked up my dads garbage that casellas did not pick up for a whole month with no extra charge.Review fromJennifer S

!!!The site didn't give me an option for Casella in *******!!!Casella in *******, *****. I live in an apartment (there's an upper and a lower apartment) and my neighbor and I split the bill since it's for the same house. That being said, there's going to be a few extra garbage bags that can't fit into the garbage bin. Please tell me why I woke up and saw that EVERYONE'S garbage was taken care of (next door neighbors on both sides of our house) except for my garbage and my upstairs neighbor's garbage???? It's not a huge pile either! It's only three bags. Ya'll are PAID to take our garbage; this isn't the first time Casella hasn't taken our garbage either. Last time they didn't take it and it was all in the bin! I'm so tired of this company hiring incompetent people who don't know how-to pick-up garbage bags. Now, I have to wait until next week with THIS WEEKS GARBAGE on top of the GARBAGE THAT THEY LEFT. This is the first company that has made me turn into a "*****". After reading a few other reviews, these people don't even take their job seriously. One person commented on how they already BROKE one of their garbage bins and had caught them on camera throwing their bins around. When I get a new place, I will NOT be going back to Casella. The acquisition of State Line by Casella has resulted in a significant decline in service and value, with trash barrels being left overturned and containing waste, and a reduction in the frequency of recycling pickups from weekly to bi-weekly. This has occurred despite immediate rate increases. It is incomprehensible why anyone would choose to pay more for a substandard service that provides only 50% of the previous value. Additionally, Casella's business practices are misleading, with a "De-enroll" button on their website portal that does not actually cancel your services. This is a clear indication of a company that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and ethical business practices.Review fromJay P

Over the past year of having Casella waste, Ive had to call them multiple times for the fact that they have not showed up or completely missed my house. I never had this problem with any of the companies who they took over for over the past eight years. Now in the past three months, they have taken half of my trash and left the other half sitting there. I just dont understand this. There have been times Ive had to take a piece of trash or two over to my mother-in-laws for her company to take the trash away. Just today I got home and there were four very nicely rolled up tarps that I cut down to make smaller. Three of them were gone and the fourth one is still sitting at the end of my driveway. I mean come on, you take my garbage out of the tote and three of the four Tarps but you cant take the fourth one? This has been an ongoing thing, and when my contract is up, I will not be renewing.Review fromSherry S

What can be said, except customer ********************** is a decline in expansion and reflection upon themselves. Company has lost honesty, organization, and an accepting and friendly tone to customers. If they could change this, they would be a great company. I have had issues from business sales manager down to CS. It makes you wonder the amount of business lost to incompetency, and service.Review fromNichole P

H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E and don't get me started on their illiterate, non-educated staff working there! Why does it take a whole week to get a pro-rated bill from your accounts payable team and then the day I was promised a call back, I don't get a call back. I called them the day after. I am not going to lie, I was behind in my bill and I explained to them that I had been out of work for 4 months and as soon as I got the money I would catch up. Which I kept my promise and paid them. They came and picked up the bins before the end of the quarter and were trying to bill me for that. No, I don't think so. On top of that they had missed pick *** continuously and as others stated no solutions other than will get it next pick up. They leave garbage behind that's on the curb, whether it's mine or other clients on my streets. They are definitely lacking in customer ********************** skills and a lot more if you ask me. Then after I paid my balance in full, they said well since you were late before there is a $50.00 reinstatement fee. And then the monthly service, etc. How about NO AGAIN, I will keep my $50.00 and go some where else. Casella waste bought out **'s that's when things went from great to horrible. Al's was a pleasure to do business with, Casella leaves much to be desired. Casella's service to pick up my trash not leave it in the road. You always knew when Casella passed through cause there was always paper,cans,plastic left behind. The driver of the automatic lift never collected what missed the collection container. Calls to Casella were always pleasant but never produced a person to clean up the mess left behind. To add insult injury they raised their price 20%. YIKES. ENTER DEPENDABLE who likes Al's treated me like a customer. DEPENDABLE hits the **** in every way. Trash pick up neat and clean all at an affordable price. I suggest to dump Casella and welcome DEPENDABLE.Review fromJamie H

Just moved in the area and became a customer. They charged me and only came out once, now the truck drives by picking up my neighbors and drives right by mine. If I could do 0 stars I would.do not do buisness with this company unless you want to be continually robbed for service you did not ask for their billing and office staff have no clue as to what they are doing they do not understand what by weekly pickup is they don't go by there auto pay schedule they make extra dumps and charge you when you didn't ask for it and when you try to address the issue they try to give you a passifier and a whole list of excuses steer clear from this company I have never had this big of an issue with any of the other company's I have used besides them closing down
