      If I could give zero stars I would. Equipment is a joke. Went off all by itself. Even at 3am waking all the kids up. We were told we qualified for a loan for all the equipment so no upfront fees. Only a monthly fee. That monthly fee turned into two fees and when it was time to move they told us it would go on the loan all the fees that were necessary. That was a lie within 3 weeks we were charged from our account ******. we fought it with our bank telling them what the company said. They reversed it but Vivint tried again 3 months later. We were told to contact the company. We called told them we didn't agree to the fee being taken from us. They told us too bad you agreed to move and it couldn't go on the loan so they took from us. I said I was tired of their crappy equipment and service and we just wanted to cancel. They said we would have to pay off the loan first. All while continuing to pay for a monthly service for equipment that wasn't working. Do not recommend this service or company. Not worth it!!!

      ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION...This was the one time I actually decided to hear out a salesman and I can honestly say I will never do it again in my lifetime. I was lied to about the whole thing. The biggest was being told I would be upgraded to a 30 free trial and the confirmation email was never sent. Even tho I tried to cancel everything with the original 7 day trail period they are still trying to charge me wayy more than what was quoted... also something he tried to keep me from seeing when scrolling through his tablet. And it's not just the salesman it seems to be the whole company or at least everyone I have talked to that refuses to stand by their words. I could go on and on but I strongly recommend that people just close the door if they show up on your doorsteps because it is 100% a con. And the equipment is trash. Not at all what I was shown.

      I called to receive a price of equipment, I did not want to give any information about what system I may or may not have now, the agent kept pressing, saying that they may be able to use existing equipment. I asked for list of companies with which Vivint is compatible, instead of answering my question, the agent kept digging into my personal information, even telling me what he found on goggle about what possibly is my current system, when i specifically told him I will not give him the information nor do I want him to know that information. Complete violation of my request and my privacy.

      We were sold a security system and told it would be ******. 4 days later we received a bill for ******* dollars from a company called fortiva for equipment that is nothing more more than 2 motion lights and ring doorbells. We called fortiva and asked them to come get equipment and were told we missed the 3 day cancellation deadline, that we were never told of either.

      This company is beyond my verbal expression of one of the worst companies to deal with in history. Weve have Vivint going on 4 years and I could sit here and write you a novel of all of the absolutely terrible service experiences we have had but I wont waste anyones time. Take my word they are beyond a negative rating. They just want the sale and will make it happen quick then do nothing for you even if youve been a loyal paying customer for years. so STOP. RUN. DO NOT Purchase from them or it will be just a bottomless pit of regret.

      Have had Vivint for 3 months and have had nothing but problems with the equipment. Purchased the equipment instead of financing. Smoke alarm randomly goes off with no fire or smoke. Cant trust the equipment to keep my family safe. The equipment is junk and cant get money back because it has been more than 30 days. **************** is horrible and they dont listen and cut you off while talking. Ive had 20 or more phone calls with issues in just 3 months

      Scammers who take advantage of their customers. On May ******* I started a service with Vivint. The following week I went out of town from June *****. During that time my we had a power outage that was successfully restored. Upon my return I noticed my cameras and front door sensor were not working properly. Next my carbon monoxide detector started to malfunction. I spoke to various people explain to them my issue last and troubleshooting with them. This took. About 10 hours collectively. At this point I simply wanted to end our relationship since I had not had the service for 30 days and out of the 3 weeks I had them I only used the service for one week. I called the company and spoke to many people over the next two weeks trying to get out of the contract and return all working and non working equipment to Vivint. Vivint has basically held my funds and credit hostage by not delivering services as agreed and denying me the ability to cancel services without repercussions. Since they will not let me out of the contract without penalty of roughly 3K, I asked them to send a technician. I was told I would receive a call for the tech to come out by July 11. I have yet to receive a call. As of todays date I have not received a call to schedule a technician to come and properly resolve my issues and restore the full use of my service. It has been over a month now and I still cannot use my service. I have not received all working components nor has the technician reach out. It was very easy to communicate with Vivint when they wanted to make a sale. Now they have made the sale and will not cancel my service nor will they assist me so I can use the service. I have been more that patient and should not feel like this. I cannot set my alarm yet they are taking my money for service not rendered and equipment not provided and with no help from a technician. I feel held hostage, taken advantage of, and disrespected. Help! Let me out if this contract!

      I had no complaints the first two years of service. My complaints began when I had equipment issues. Just to get a technician out you have to pay $100, or be forced to sign up for a monthly service plan.

      Promised us a voucher for 1400 with of free equipment and ***** monthly payments. They keep trying to charge us 1800 for the equipment and our monthly is *****. Been dealing with this for months keep getting run around and same answer or promises of call back etc. Nothing has happened and they won't just cancel the contract.
