      I have tried for MONTHS to get a technician to come to our home and fix our system. I've spent HOURS on the phone with customer service attempting to remedy the problem. They state that our panel needs to be upgraded, have scheduled numerous appointments, and no technicians show up. I've emailed their legal department with NO response. They have no problem charging me every month for a service that I'm unable to use, yet won't send anyone to fix the problem. The outsourced (South America) customer service reps cannot fix the issues that are making our system malfunction. The whole company is a JOKE!

      I was charged a different amount than my service agreement is. I have one agreement and they have another. I was approved for 4000$ and they took the entire amount even tho my agreement says another. While Im on hold with a rep from the customer ************* she calls up the rep without my knowing I get a call from him he tries to explain a 50$ addition to my bill but the total add on is $ ******. So in the mist of talking to him my other line disconnect which was the rep from the loyalty ***** then the technician hangs up neither of them gave me any type of comfort for my concerns.

      Wish I could give not even one star. Yesterday was on the phone for over 2.5 hrs being transferred over 10 times just to transfer over the equipment to the new owner of the home. It was so acquired and frustrating because they required the new owner of the home to be present. Having 2 children to attend and deal with horrible company on the phone was a nightmare. Something that should had only took 15 minutes.

      We had Vivint for several years with minimal disruptions or complaints; then COVID hit and the problems began. We had issues with our doorbell and we placed calls for someone to come out but instead they wanted to tell us or walk us through fixing it ourselves. My husband followed their instructions but to no avail. We waited and waited and called and called and just got the run around. Instead of them sending a technician, they offered is a reduction in monthly charges which is no help if the doorbell still didn't work. We opted to cancel the services in June 2022 and they sent a notice of cancellation but in July they continued to auto deduct the monthly payment. When I called their excuse was that they tried to reach us for us to retract the cancellation but we didn't answer so they continued to withdraw funds. I let that go, but they again withdrew funds in August and I asked for reimbursement for that month and I'm still waiting for that to happen. Every time I call, I get the run around or have to go over the SAME information with someone new. It's not a lot of money but it's the principle. My advice... DON'T USE VIVINT.

      I lived up to the 60 month contract and paid off the equipment in full. The day after the contract ended I called to cancel my service. I received emails regarding my request to cancel. The next day they charged me again for the next month and when I called about that I got no satisfaction but just the run around. Now a month later they still have not closed my account. I have taken steps so they cannot post a charge against my card. I did contact the Consumer Protection Agency and provided them with all documentation necessary to investigate. I have not received any response yet. This company is a danger to deal with They
      violate all the rules pertaining to a good reputable company. Their service is terrible. I advise anyone to run the other direction if approached by anyone from Vivint

      I had my serviced moved to a new location after the sale of my house. And they some how got me signed up for a 42 month contract without my knowledge. I was told I was signing for the work to be done. I have been with vivint since 2008 and have had tons of issues with the equipment that they dont want to fix without charging. But this sneaky contract is terrible. Cant get anyone to help me when I call about it. All they say is you signed it. I moved to an apartment for short term I wouldnt have signed another contract for that long. And I never knew that was what I was signing.

      Vivint is a horrible company!!!! Stay away from them!!!! The only thing they do is steal peoples money.. They are ALL LIARS!!!!!!! Everyone Ive spoken with since I got this crappy equipment will LIE just to get you off the phone. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone in life. I was with ADT and ******** stayed with them at least they will not LIE to you!! Vivint is SUPPOSED to be the #1 alarm system but thats another LIE.. ??The technicians, customer service reps, and the reps out in the field are RUDE! Ive been hung up on, cursed by the tech, transferred to someone else without being told I was being transferred, the list just keeps going! The tech in the field was the nicest person when I signed but when I actually received the services he became rude and short every time. I shouldve just canceled after the tech showed out in my home, but I was promised 6 months of credits but 1 month in I owe a $200 balance!! In order to cancel now, I would have to pay $4k upfront. If I ever paid anyone that type of money to cancel Id be the fool! But I promise you, when Im outta this contract, Im canceling and going back to ADT with no hesitation!!

      Multiple issues with the system. Doorbell camera is offline frequently and customer service advised me to flip the breaker every time it goes offline. Smoke detector stopped working less then a year after install. *********************** left holes in my wall and sealed with silicone because they were unable to wire the hub correctly. We now have to replace entire wall panels. I was charged to have a new smoke detector sent to me although I have a lifetime warranty. Cameras also frequently fail to record activity

      I recently signed up for Vivint Home security through my power provider ************* which gave me free installation. I have had the system for about 5 months, and have constant problems with my front door security. I am a great customer, pays his bill on time and paying off what I owe for the equipment paying triple what my normal amount per month. @ weeks ago I asked for help in getting my front door to work properly. They gave me a link to change out the batteries, which I did. Still did not resolve the issue, from door is jammed. Called them again, they wanted me to attempt to take the front door lock off my door. Could not to that, and then the company tech rep said that the earliest they could send someone out was 4 weeks. I told them that was not acceptable.The company rep said she would try and expedite but that has not happened. I attempted to cancel, but they refused stating that I owe on the equipment 500 dollars. So I am currently stuck with a company that takes your money but cannot service their equipment which you are paying good money.
