      Solicitors at my home and ringing my bell despite my No Soliciting sign and then ignoring me when I asked if they could read the sign. It's at the point of harassment.

      Horrible experience the sales person lied about everything, I signed up and the sales person says I have 30 days to cancel and when I call to cancel they tell me I cant cancel. The cameras that they gave me ***** always buffering and freezes the zoom in features ***** as well, it you see Alessio at your door steps trying to to sell run as fast as you can, I wish I read these reviews before

      It's very interesting the rating on here is B+ when there are so many complaints. Add this one to the complaint list. Shady business practices and preying on military/military retirees is outrageous. The sales agent lied about pretty much everything. Why is the rating so high? There should be a class action lawsuit against ****** honestly.

      Easily the worst company I have ever dealt with. They make it almost impossible to cancel. Drawing out the process as long as possible, huge contract buyout fees. Even when I attempted to cancel and pay out my contract they wouldn't let me and continued to charge me monthly payments.

      A young man named **** from Utah knocked on our door. We live in a *******, so he was trying to gain business. He explained the process of having the Vivint security system installed in our home. We agreed to get the service. HOWEVER, the words CREDIT CARD were never spoken. Had I known this was involving a credit card, I NEVER WOULD HAVE AGREED TO THE SERVICE!!! My banker, who is doing my refinance on my house, asked me when I opened up a new credit card. I knew nothing about it. When he told me it was from *******, I knew instantly who had opened up the credit card. **** misrepresented how the equipment and service would be paid for. **** said that it would be $103.01 a month. I then received a statement from ******* needing a minimum payment of $34.04. This made no sense to me. Approximately 2 weeks later, there is a draw out of my bank account for $68.97. Then it made sense: $34.04 + $68.97 =$103.01 . But once again, I knew NOTHING of the credit card until my banker brought it to my attention. My intent here is to warn anyone approached by a Vivint representative to be aware that, if you sign up for their service, you will be opening a new credit card!!!

      I wish I did not even have to give one star, this is the most awful service and product I have ever used. They tricked me and didn't tell me I would be contracted till 2027 and want to charge a $200 fee when I purchased it 3 years ago the equipment is paid in full and that's just because they said I had a contract that I didn't know I had. You can never get a hold of them they charge you if you try to call tech support if it goes out or something happens, it's just an awful awful awful system do not buy unless you just don't care if it works and you have hundreds of dollars to throw away

      I have cancelled my service after a traumatizing hour long call trying to get it cancelled. I was assured not once but twice it would be taken care of and that I paid my finally bill. Now here we are and Im still being charged.

      The salespeople come in numbers of 3 or more. They rush you into making decisions, while all the time you are saying no. I was promised a buyout from the other security company for signing with Vivint. He searched and could not find my account information with the other company. I assured him I had an account and if he did not contact them and pay, it would come back to haunt me. Well, it did. The other company put me in collections for ******* plus. I called the *** and Vivint.I couldn't get the sales *** to return my calls or texts. Vivint offered me a ******* **** card and said they had to reach ******* the sales *** for more than a *******. I gather they didn't reach him. They only authorized the thousand dollars. Now ADT/Bulldog/Lockhart, ******, ********** will only give me 15% settlement which leaves me over ****** to pay. I guess senior citizens are prime targets for these companies. I live alone with my underage grandson, and I felt pressured to have a security system for safety. Where is the justice?

      On May 16 2025, a door-to-door sales representative from the company arrived at my home at 10:00 PM, which I consider completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The representative misrepresented the pricing of the services and proceeded to use my personal phone to complete and submit the necessary documents without fully explaining the terms or obtaining clear consent.Later that same evening, a technician was dispatched and arrived at 11:00 PM, completing the installation at around 1:00 AM. During this late-night installation, the technician cut the wiring to my doorbell and door chime, leaving them non-functional. While the company has since agreed to repair this, it was an avoidable issue caused by poor workmanship.Additionally, I inquired about integrating MyQ for my garage door. The technician informed me that he did not understand the sensor system and left it incomplete and nonfunctional.The following day, I attempted to contact customer service to cancel the service. I was disconnected four separate times, which felt like an intentional attempt to avoid processing my cancellation.This level of unprofessional behavior, lack of communication, and disregard for customer experience is unacceptable. I am requesting that the company:Properly restore and repair all damaged property (e.g., doorbell system), Which is currently being handled by their Damaged Property Team Provide clear documentation of any agreements or charges,Process my cancellation request without further delay or obstruction.I hope this complaint encourages the company to reevaluate their sales practices, technician training, and customer support standards.

      I was manipulated into buying equipment, wasting money. The equipment is constantly not working properly. Waste of ***** and full scam!
