      The door to door salesman ran my credit without asking. All of a sudden he told me my credit is frozen and asked me to unlock it. Then when I told him that I am no longer interested, he was very hard to get him to leave my house.

      Communication problems with this company NO body is on the same page when installing the product or removing it. It took me a month of numerous telephone calls to get this product removed, I have rated this co, with terrible service,

      I hope that my experience and testimony will be a warning to anyone considering the Vivint service for residential home security. I still owe $243.00 on the equipment that Vivint sold me 4 years ago when I signed up for service. This equipment hasnt properly worked over the past couple of years. Yet Vivint wants me to buy additional upgraded equipment at a discounted rate knowing they sold me equipment that doesnt work. How does this make sense? It's impossible to get anyone on the phone to actually speak with you in hopes of resolving your issue.Here are some terms that come to mind for Vivint Smart Home: Unethical, fraudulent and deceptive.Stay away from Vivint, there are better options available to provide peace of mind and security for your home and family. But dont take my word for it. ******* Vivint Smart home settlement, for starters to see where the *** sued Vivint, a company who helped unqualified customers get financing for home ********************** products by misusing other people's credit reports.Vivint had to settle for $9.75 million to resolve.Or where Vivint was with hit $189.7 million verdict for stealing security rival's customers in ********************************************** paid Kansas $500,000 for allegedly deceptive practices.The company has racked up millions in penalties over the past decade for violations of consumer protection laws.

      Horrible customer service. I called to cancel service July 11. 2024. I called again on August 6, 2024 to ask why my service is still on and billing continues. Thats when I was informed that a notice of cancellation was needed to fully cancel the service. The catch is that it takes 30 days to process and billing will continue during that 30 days. This is ridiculous. So disgusting that a company is unwilling to cancel service just to make another buck. ??. This is one of those companies where one needs to jump through hoops but never told what the hoops are. Aggravating to say the least. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with one gal who never gave me answers. Just double talk.

      do not trust them!! Do not open your door for them!!!!!
      I called Vivint security and was told by five different people that they understood my issue but they clearly do not care. I told them it was fraud. I did not consent to the $4000 line of credit being taken out in my name. They also did not tell me about the trial period That ended two days after the installment I had to argue and fight with them and the best they could do was take off five dollars a month for my bill!! Or I could pay off the equipment, no longer have the service and only pay half of the cancellation charge!!
      You guys lied TO ME!!!! I didn’t lie to you!! You did me wrong, I have been building my credit for two years to be able to purchase a home for my children, and this is going to cause it to be delayed or possibly even ruin my chances at this point because you guys are liars you are fraud you’re scammers you don’t care about anybody you don’t care about your customers all you care about is your money. I do not want the security cameras I have had it a week I want it removed. I do not wanna make the payments on it anymore and I want the $4000 to be back to zero because I did not consent to it. This is fraud. This is ridiculous salesman do not tell you upfront about the line of credit they do not disclose any of that. They blatantly lie to your face and trick you in order to get you to accept it , I was given the runaround on the phone trying to get this resolved and kept getting hung up on. I’m asking that Vivint take it all away and drop all of the charges. I will not be paying them another cent! They are scammers and liars! I would absolutely give -0 stars if I could!
      Do better Vivint! You’re ruining peoples lives. And don’t try to tell me that it’s ’not That deep’ it is infact very deep! They have lied and scammed way too many people.

      If you are looking for a security system, use anyone else. Overall, the security system does its job and works fine. But, I have several complaints. (1) I had Vivint for close to 6 years. At one point towards the end of the 6 years, the control panel stopped working and it would not restart. Vivint came and replaced a part in the panel, but essentially told me the panel is older and I would need to pay for a new one. One top of paying for the equipment, Vivint apparently wants to you repay for new equipment every few years. (2) As everyone else has mentioned, the cancellation process was a nightmare. I went through the take-over department, because my house is being leased. Because the tenant created their own account as opposed to calling a specific number, Vivint has been charging me AND the tenant for monthly service, which is completely unacceptable. And, the tenant has a lower monthly fee than what I paid for 6 years. In trying to cancel the service via a phone call, Vivint asked me questions for over 30 minutes about what lower rate I would accept to keep my service, only for them to inform me I have to submit a cancellation request in writing. The call was a complete waste of my time. If I could do it over again, I would go with anyone else. I will never sign up for Vivint again.

      This company targets veterans. They continue to bill me for monitoring services when there is no equipment nor property/house to monitor as the home was sold months ago, all equipment paid in full at closing. You have to call and tell them each and every month since closing to stop billing you/reporting to ************** Was told they have no system in place that tells them equipment not active. Guess they monitor dirt and bill veterans. **************** is horrible. Lie saying its fixed then next month they say no payment was received. Do not get these stupid people to help you with security or customer service

      System constantly reseting. Panel blacks out and has to be reset. Cameras won't stay on. Alarms randomly go off. ie, smoke and carbon monoxide. Have tried for over a month to get a technician out and they only want to trouble shoot over the phone. Then when they see an issue they want to charge $99 for a tech to come out and trouble shoot more.

      If we could give a zero and below we would. Haven't had the system a full month l have had major issues alarm for fire NO fire thermostat not working temp in 2 story home 75 we have set at 66. Reps want me to check this wire that wire. Then to tell me it's 99 for them to come out and check the poor quality install (took him 8hrs to install). I HAVE A 80 AND THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED ELDELY ABUSE AND MISREPRESENTATION TO SELL HIM THIS SYSTEM

      We moved and cancelled our service with Vivint ( we were currently month to month, no contact) the representative gave us a confirmation number. We have now been charged for July and August ******** When we first saw the charge in July we called our bank and they stopped the payment and blocked future payments, however Vivint has managed to charge us again for August. They are fraudulently charging our account. We can not seem to get this under control. They are the worst company to deal with. Very deceptive
