      We have been a Vivint customer for many years. As our equipment aged, we called to have the equipment serviced a few years ago. The service man came out, said he fixed the equipment, but it was never fixed. We continued to pay the bill. A few days ago, my husband called to cancel our service since it didn’t work and we were still paying the bill. He was transferred to the customer loyalty department where the representative offered to lower the bill and upgrade our system for a 5 year commitment. My husband went over the sensors and other equipment we currently have with the representative. He told my husband this offer would be completely free.
      Today the technician came out and some of the equipment could not be upgraded because it is no longer supported. He offered alternatives. He said we would be charged $300 on our next bill for the alternatives. My husband and I spent almost three hours on the phone today with various representatives of Vivent explaining what happened and repeatedly asking for someone to just listen to the recorded call and what was offered. No one would listen and just repeatedly told us how much equipment we were getting for $300. One person offered us $50 off which is insulting and just more not listening to what was originally offered. At the end of the three hours we ended up telling them to come get the new equipment and put our old equipment back in. Our bill is to be restored to the previous higher amount and the five year commitment dissolved. Our intent at this moment is to cancel when this is completed. I am very disappointed in the lack of service from

      Used a fraudulent signed contract to keep me in an obligation for 5 years. I never signed another contract. I remember staff upgrading an a panel but was never told about another obligation. I will effectively end contract in May 2025 since they are enforcing a "in question" contract. In my opinion, please do your research prior to getting involved with this company.

      I canceled services in July 2024 due to a job relocation to **. **********. I am currently continuously getting calls from employees insisting on reading a script regarding an account I no longer have for payment.

      Constantly having to reboot camera to work! Doorbell sometimes randomly goes off! Just the worst!

      I have not nor ever will buy Vivint. I lived at a rental community in ** and moved away a year ago. I just received a bill in my name and phone number for an account that they allowed someone to open with no ID verification because I do not know the current resident. When I called customer service they are going to say there is nothing they can do to remove my information from the account because I cannot verify the security information on the account. After a little research, I found that the company already went through a class action lawsuit for violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act and opening accounts under customers without their authority. Sounds exactly like what they did with me. I will be following up with a lawyer regarding their unlawful criminal activity.

      In June 2023 I notified them of cancellation of my account. In November of 2023 they began fraudulently charging me again without notification or permission I have been charged monthly since then (today is 9/9/24)I have sent requested emails without response I have been on the phone with them **************** I called AGAIN. They claimed I am paying for equipment. My equipment is from a totally different company. Once again, I was pushed to get off the phone "Due to a 12 business day wait on requests". I refused to get off the phone until a refund was processed for the past ******************************************************************************* I have 0 faith that charges will stop.

      ON MAY 22 2024 VIVINT TECHNICIAN INSTALLING CAMERAS CAUSING 4 HOLD IN FIBERGLASS ROOF .ON JUNE 10 2024 WALLPANEL OFF LINE ON JULY 10 2024 CAMERAS OFF LINE 8/7/24 DOOR**** CAMERA OFF LINE THE **** CAMERA BURNT OUT THE WIRES I CALLED SO MANY TIMES ITS 9/8/24 I HAVE 4 HOLDS IN ROOF BURNT OUT WIRES, NO DOOR ****, NO DOOR **** CAMERA, AND MENTAL AND PHYSICAL STRESS I NEED HELP

      Please train your door-to-door sales representatives to be more respectful. A representative recently visited my neighborhood and displayed a lack of respect toward me and my neighbors. He visited my neighbors' home multiple times, despite a "no trespassing" sign being prominently displayed on the property. When I asked him to leave my property, he refused, stating that he did not have to. After I told him I would call the police, he still did not leave. He also stated that the Police would not do anything to him. This individual should not be a sales representative.

      Scammers at their absolute finest. The child of a sales man didn't have a clue what the technology he was selling me actually did, then 2 months later "oh the Smart Drive you were asking about is back instock! And By the way its not compatible with anything you already bought!" That sent me to the moon, I paid 5grand for a system that is already antiquated? Then my thermostat started bugging out, spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service only for customer service to completely disconnect my thermostat and knock out my air condition on a 110 degree day in ********!! Then, I moved and I explained my move and gave them my new address for new service, OHH your account is on on a level 3 restriction and it cant be moved. OOPS, SORRY! Where is any communication at what is going on? Where are any notices? Why is your technical support so obtuse and problematic? Where is the adequate training? Where is the professionalism? The answer is, there is none. These are scammers like at the call centers in *****, they do not care about you the customer or your safety. Its a poor attempt at a money grab trying to get you to sign to part of their "Daily active users" and inflate their fake valuation.

      Before I got Vivint I paid off my equipment as I was told I wouldnt be held under contract if I did pay for my equipment in full. After a year I called trying to cancel my service and they refused and I was offered a 3 months credit. To basically think about it . After the 3 months I call back because I still wanted to cancel and they still gave me a hard time and wanted to offer me a 3 year contract. Being lied to that you can cancel at anytime is not right. Then my account was sent to collections because I refused to pay the new billed amount because I just wanted to leave and the collection company has the nerve to tell me Vivint was offering me a deal if I paid the balance off they would get me a contract monthly plan. I forgot the amount offered but the representative seemed upset after I told her well I'm not paying because I don't want anything to do with Vivint if that's the case.. I shouldn't have to feel if I pay off a debt then I'd be back stuck with a company I know longer want .
