      Terrible company I have made my payments for service each month then they come up with excuse of a billing cycle! That didnt cover the payment I made! Showed proof of each payment I made and sent proof of payments! And they still say THIER and lied about us being 3 months behind! When proof of payments was made! And shut off service after the payments was made and showed proof! Putting us at high risk for crimes being committed on property! And demanding ****** $

      They are liars very deceptive, I advise people to stay away from that company and use someone else. Im canceling my service with them.

      I am trying to get my system uninstalled and seem to be having a run around I just want equipment picked up with in my time limit to have for free payments and they are dragging there feet it is so frustrating

      The worst company ever. They over charge you for everything and make you pay a month ************ for the product but it does not cover anything they still trying to charge the 99$. Also there is no number to call you have to wait for them to call you back. They ask you to troubleshoot the stat as if you were novice. I am done with them. I hope you re think twice I paid $4500 for this product now they are telling me that is failing because needs to be upgrade with another 3500$. When I have insurance for them to supposedly replace it or repair it. I am disgusted by the choice I made buying from them. Do not buy from them. Do your research.

      I did not mind the equipment but the customer services was awful every single time I called and during cancelation. Today I called to cancel the account because I moved out my home to my mom's house. I no longer needed the services or equipment. I told the customer representatives this multiple but instead he wanted to continue to push deals on me. I told him how much this frustrated me. He responded by trying to have me call **************** to confirm my payments completed. I had him call the bank while I was on the phone instead. They confirmed my account was up to date. After several more minutes he advised I have to email someone to cancel. This was 25 minute call to be told I have to send a email to someone completely different and it takes 30 days to cancel. So I'll have to pay another month of services I don't need. I spoke to ****************** Don't use Vivint. It's not worth the hassle. I work nights from 8 pm to 8 am so to have to deal with this right after work is disrespectful to my time.

      In the beginning of May, a door-to-door salesman came to my door and offered Me A 30 day free trial risk free vivid home security system. I was told that I had 30 days to try it out then I could cancel it if I did not like it. after it being installed for two days it went off-line front door back door cameras. on May 28, I called to cancel, my service the phone kept getting disconnected on their end. I called back May 29 same thing no result I call back on the 30th They keep trying to offer me an upgrade or a different package I tell them that I want to cancel the Service and then mysteriously the phone hangs up again, so I just left the situation alone and then three months down the line in September. They charge my card 4 different times amounting up to the charges of a little over $400. I give the company a call once again on September 11th for the sales *** to tell me he seen that I have called multiple times to try to cancel service and it still was not cancel. They tell me theres nothing they can do because I am in a 2 year agreement. That would not have happened if when I called on my 29 they would have just done what I asked them to do which was canceled my service.

      I wish I could give them a negative 5 stars. This is a horrible company who hides behind their contract when they have faulty product. In the 4 months since I got their system I have needed 3 door sensors replaced. I have to be on the phone for over an hour. I paid for product service warranty. They want me to pay $100 for a technician. I self installed the sensor once, had to be on the phone for 45 minutes to have a tech come back out days later. Our keypad malfunctioned and causes our alarm to trigger. They promised to either send a technician or send a box. Neither of these happened. Multiple instances my system has been below full function and no attempts are made to make it right. My bill has not changed either. Instead I have a brick of useless material on my wall. Stay far, far away from this company. Save yourself the money and buy a Ring system, self install, and pay half the price for monitoring.

      I live in ******** **. I have a no solicitation sign at clear eye level. Usually when someone ignores it I make note to never use their business but let them know I understand they are just doing their job, no hard feelings. Vivint needs to check on how the Reps are being trained in this area. I was treated extremely poorly by the **** I asked to see his solicitation permit after he started insulting me. (as required to carry by law here in ***** though admittedly almost no-one does) Instead of providing it he ran away and shouted "go back to school, maybe then you'd understand I'm trying to help". It's a great one liner if his goal is to drive away customers and destroy the company reputation. A very bad first impression and not a good way to grow a business.

      Worst company ever!!! I want my money from the last 8 years back. Ever since I had outdoor cameras installed I have nothing but problems. They send technicians who are always late or don't show up after I miss work ti accommodate them. Their solution is upgrade and get locked into another contract. We'll now I am out of the contract and am having issues again and have spent 5 hours on the phone they can't figure out my locks. After they hung up I spent 15 mins and got them to work how I was explaining to them. Their customer service is a joke and they charge X amount of money and you don't get the service you pay for. POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS BEWARE. If I ever find out that they have a class action lawsuit about any of this you bet I'm jumping on.

      I'm extremely disappointed with Vivint. By the time you read this, it might already be too late because once their sales **** are in your home, there's no time to do proper research. Theyll open a line of credit for the equipment (around $4,000) unless you can pay upfront. The problem is, they approve you for just enough to cover the equipment, maxing out your credit and severely hurting your credit score due to high utilization. For example, my score dropped from 726 to 645an 81-point drop!There are no pros to this service. The equipment is overpriced compared to other security systems, and Vivints system is unreliable. We had it installed for 11 days, and it kept triggering false alarms. Although they installed it the same day, it took them a week to remove the equipment after we canceled. Everything about this company feels predatory and unethical.
