      The installer had difficulty installing our door camera. Later that day we discovered that our hall light was not working. After two days the control panel quit showing two items that we enjoyed. We then called the salesman about these problems and he said that he would have the installer correct these problems. He never showed up. After three weeks we terminated our contract with Vivint. A new guy came out and retrieved the equipment, but he could not get our door bell to work nor the hall light. He called the installer, but the installer could not remember how the wiring went. Now we have neither a working door **** nor a **** light. We contacted Vivint and their agent told us that there was nothing Vivint could do since we terminated the contract. This is not the way to do business. At this point, all we want is to have the door bell and the hall light working as it used to be. Vivint appears not interested in doing GOOD business.

      Con artists. The ultimate bait and switch business model. Good luck getting any help if you have technical issues. God help you if youre trying to canceling your service. Hopefully this helps someone stay away. Im not sure how its legal to make people jump through hoops like this to cancel. There will be a class action lawsuit one day. Ill look forward to getting a little bit of $$$ back when that happens.

      I have had Vivint service since 2019. I cannot comment on their newest cameras but the ones we received were not as advertised, the *** often decided not to record and we had issues viewing the cameras live even with the best Internet available in our ******* biggest issue with them is the cancellation process. Once you decide to cancel, whether the end of your contract or not they review your account for 30 days from when you give them notice to decide if they want to let you cancel or not and they bill you with no guarantee of a refund if you are billed after you request cancellation. Once you do cancel all of the equipment stops functioning, the only way this doesn't happen is if you do an account transfer rather than a cancellation but that starts a brand new contract. It has been completely miserable to deal with Vivint as a residential security company, I cannot in good faith recommend anyone use them.

      I am trying to get my system uninstalled and seem to be having a run around I just want equipment picked up with in my time limit to have for free payments and they are dragging there feet it is so frustrating. They are liars very deceptive, I advise people to stay away from that company and use someone else. Im canceling my service with them. **** the want me to pay 600 dollar for a contract that I had no ideal about I was told be the rep. **** was at my house,once my equipment was paid there was no more contract.. and I just call to cancel service. They are saying I'm under contract till April of 2025 and to cancel now I have to pay 600. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T USE VIVINT SMART HOME THEY ARE LIARS. AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY

      I had a sales *** come to my door. He tells me that I have a $300 credit to get new cameras installed on my house because I have been a loyal customer who paid my bill on time. The salesman didnt tell me he was running my credit. He didnt tell me that they no longer use ******** bank to finance their equipment. So a week later I get a bill from Fortiva for $2800 for equipment. So I called them and asked what happened to the $300 credit. I called customer service several of times and every time I started talking the phone went mute as if they had put me on hold or mute and they when I would say hello, are you there and she was like yeah. Theres noise in the background. The customer service sucks! They are no help! I started receiving emails from ************* saying I havent paid them. So I give them a call and they tell me that they no longer finance for Vivint. Now Im pretty sure the salesman knew that when he came to my door! He had all my info on his iPad! I feel like I was lied too, I was deceived. I had equipment on my house that worked fine. I highly recommend that you dont use this company and if they ring your door ****? Dont answer because all theyre going to do Is tell you a bunch of lies. People work too hard for their money to be scammed all while trying to secure their homes.

      Stay away from Vivint. Thier sales representatives are liars, we regret switching from Amp smart to Vivint. The sales representatives by the name of ******** ****** ,, will make you promises that you will be paying less than the company you were with, then will stop answering your texts and messages whe you end up paying more. They are liars, and when you want to cancel they will try to charge you $ ***** dollars. They will make you wait it out until it's to late to cancel. Do not let them scam you, now we are stuck paying almost double than what we were paying. Then they lie about the buyout from the other company. They only pay up to 1000 tobuy out the other company, so I was told. I will still *** the other company $ 994 . So make it make sense? They keep you on hold for 1 to 2hours and they don't resolve anything but 10 dollars off? Now we have to wait and see if the buyout even goes thru. So I will inform everyone ,how that goes. Now we are in debt with our other company and stuck with these liars for 5 years , if we don't want to mess up our credit. I'm so disappointed. I will never fall for another vivint salesman. STAY AWAY, I don't recommend this company to no one!! Remember the name is ****************************************, ***** area, his Ibadge number ******. Stay clear from this liar. He makes promises just to get you to sign the contract , and please read it carefully.

      I wanted the system. It seemed affordable. I wanted a day to think it over in my budget, the salesperson was nice enough, but managed to pressure me into it. Free install. Good financing available. So, for a roughly thousand dollars worth of equipment, I find I'm being charged ******* I called I asked I'm told there's an install fee. 3 of us were told otherwise, but, that point aside- ******* install fee? Never got an answer from vivint only an offer to reduce payments 15 a month on 2 years. I wanted cameras window sensors and doorbell. I can live with the co sensor but not sure on the thermostat. I guess I'm cancelling. That's a large install fee for an I could have done it

      I have been trying to cancel my subscription and they will not allow me to! The technician lied to me and told me that the vintage was the length of time to pay the equipment, not the actual service itself. I never heard of a company forcing you to stay with them for 5 years! I am financially struggling and asked to cancel. I can't even remove my card as a payment method at all. I called customer service 3 times. They offered a few months free which I accepted for now. My app kept saying $0 owed and I got charged the entire $52!

      This company sells you faulty equipment and then refuses to send a *** out to fix or ***lace. Instead you spend hours of frustrations being passed around and placed on hold for the system to continue to malfunction. They have zero customer service or accountability and need to be sued. I have had their system for less than two weeks and they refuse to fix any malfunctions, the panel freezes and stops responding or goes black, the cameras go offline and require hard resets windows and door sensors constantly say this door or that window is open even though they are closed. Once again the customer service does jack didly except say we will try rebooting your system and to call back if it happens again. After numerous times of this happening I am over it.

      Condescending sale team thats willing to lie for their own gain in commission. Sloppy installation as well as a terribly slow system and app. Very dissatisfied and unhappy, now stuck with a useless system.
