      I was told that if I switched to Vivint they would buy out my contract with ******. The link to the system to get my gift card states for me to provide my payment ledger with the final payment. It was uploaded to their site and they rejected it. It was very clear. It showed my entire history, the amount and date that the account was closed when the Vivint sales representative was in my living room. They are refusing to honor their word and I feel scammed by their sales person

      I called in August of 2024 to cancel my acct and I was told that it would be canceled August 19th I am still being charged for my acct and told I cannot cancel until the payment of $234 is taken care of which these charges are from the last bill and technician fee complete fine but I am asking for my account to be canceled and to have a final bill sent to my address and Im being told I cannot do that, Im sorry I dont just have money to make a payment for a bill I have not even seen and I shouldnt be charged for a full month of August since I did not have services and yet youre crediting my acct when I have the equipment in a box in my garage and it has not been used since August 19th! I WILL NOT refer friends family coworkers or even my worst enemy to this company EVER!!! I have never had issues with receiving a final bill and having my account canceled without making payment ***** (Supervisor) Badge ******* who was no help at all and would not help take care of the situation! Its so unfortunate that companies exist like this and continue to charge customers for services that arent even connected and or being used!

      Requested to have service moved to my new address and was never done. I called to cancel and the agent that I was transferred to to cancel was giving me a hard time to cancel. never receiving my services hooked up at my new house, I left all the old equipment at the ********* because I was supposed to be receiving new equipment, I now have a bill for $344 and the service never got hooked up at my address. What do I do?

      First, we'll start off by saying, this is a horrible company. I fell behind on my billing.Due to financial hardship, like most people are dealing with now. Was making payments a month late but was still making payments and then they shut off the app.Service, so I was not able to monitor none of the systems. At that point I stop paying not paying you for something that i'm not receiving. October 8th 2024, they took 3 and a 1/2 months of payments out of a bank account that they did not have authorization to take money from. It was a card that I used to set service up with, but never made payments online with this card. I have requested over 6 months ago to have a service technician come out and fix some problems. No one ever showed up. When I first had service hooked up, the young technician that showed app didn't even have all the equipment that was scheduled to be installed out of 8 pieces, He had two pieces, had to wait another two weeks for that equipment to come back out and be installed. And I apologize for the language I'm about to use. But the young man took a s*** in my bathroom without asking permission to use my bathroom. That is very unprofessional. I brought it to the company's attention and nothing was ever done about it. And the reason I mentioned the above service request that never got responded to. They're charging me extra money for some kind of warranty replacement to where I can have someone come out at no cost to me and my cameras are supposed to be able to be replaced, but they don't follow through with any of that.

      Absolutely awful! I would never recommend this company to anyone who wants to be safe. Vivint is great if nothing goes on, but as we have come to find out, they have no absolutely no protocols when something actually happens. The pin to the door is also the pin to the panel. Whomever gets passed the door can delete EVERY VIDEO from the panel and there is no way to recover it. If you have a domestic violence or elderly abuse complaint, they will ignore it and enable whomever is the administrator on the account to have total access like you said nothing, especially if they are the perpetrator. They will also NOT notify you. My brother is a threat to my mother but because he was the administrator on the account they allowed for him to change the pins TO THE DOOR as well as the email and verbal password!!!! Literally 2 hours in between the conversation where the threat to her safety as an elderly woman was expressed and him calling demanding to have access to her house. They have it on file that she is the homeowner. The representatives are tone deaf script readers. They don't care about what you tell them, all they worry about is reading the script in hopes of getting a sale. They do not problem solve and on the off chance you do come across someone competent, what they have done will be under minded by a manager. It should be illegal for them to be in business. My brother is not a resident of my mother's house, but because he signed the paperwork as admin (a gift he bought for her btw) she has had to go without security until the new company can come in because Vivint will allow him access for another ********************************************* those looking to be secure from domestic violence situations. I highly recommend you stay away from this company and if you have already signed up, cancel immediately before you are in a situation involving theft and there is no proof.Also the cameras are always going offline. Do not trust them with your safety!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      This product and company are the the worst at service and cancellations, I have had this system in my home for around five years I called them because my control panel stopped communicating with the system they sent a guy out that showed up 30 minutes after the 4 hour appointment window and after going over the same exact reboot script the customer service agent tried he asked to see the power box after seeing the power box he said it was nothing he could do to get the system back up running again because the wires had been cut. This was so stupid for a technician to say when my system is totally wireless so at this time I told him if he couldnt get it up and running to take it with him because Im going to pay for a system thats not working and because their technician was so incompetent. Im a disabled veteran and my career field was electronic technician Im through paying for this terrible experience.

      I wish I had listened to the poor reviews on the BBB and other review sites. 97% of individuals in my neighborhood had Vivint or ADT and we were scared of sketchy contracts so we went with Vivint. The major problem with Vivint is that despite paying $2000 for our security system, Vivint does not stand by their extremely expensive product. It goes without saying that if you pay such an exorbitant amount for your security system, you expect it to be reliable and consistently working properly. Instead it frequently freezes, glitches, alarms without explanation/trigger, doesnt sound alarms when system is on and door is opened, etc. These problems began within the first MONTH that we got the system installed! I say they do not stand by their product as evidenced by the fact that they do not have a reasonable warranty period that would demand that a technician can come look at the faulty product to fix it if it begins malfunctioning IN THE FIRST MONTH or even the first six months. Instead, they sarcastically suggest that you spend an extra monthly fee on top of your monthly service fee to get a technician to come look at the faulty system and fix the problem. It goes without saying that a company should be eager to send a technician to fix the malfunctioning system that was installed less than a month prior. Instead, weve been paying the ridiculous monthly fee because we are now out of our $2000 and know that the very expensive product is known to frequently glitch, alarm without provocation, etc- at least once to multiple times WEEKLY. Simply not worth the headache. I want this company to stand by their product and fix the faulty newly- installed product free of charge- not at all unreasonable for a product that was installed two months ago. I called the customer service to discuss this matter and after promising to forward me to a supervisor, she instead forwarded me to a representative in the *********** that was impossible to understand through a beautiful accent.

      We had been with this service for several years and we moved from that home since January 2024. I paid for the device and tried to cancel the service. It was so hard to cancel it. At first we received a email that gave the instructions for cancellation. We did as email said. After that we still kept getting bill. I called and they said my balance was 0. It quiet for about 3 months and I got the bill again. Every Sunday I received a email and said I need to pay them. I called again: everyone seems did not know the situation and said the account is still active! They promised they would make cancellation this time. Just for the single call I had to wait almost an hour to let they transfer from one person to another three times! This is the worst experience that I ever had. I will never recommend this company to any of my friends.

      This company is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. The sales *** tells you one thing then when you go to cancel they won't cancel. We have called and called for them to come get their equipment. The *** supposedly gave us his number if we had any problems. Never answers the phone. The company wants the money for the equipment before they would cancel. We have taken the equipment down ourself. Not paying for any of this. They are a bunch of crooks and scammers. Wish I didn't have to give any star.

      This company has not provided the service it has promised. My panel goes on and off intermittently without anyone touching it. The cameras do not show an alert all at once when one is tripped. The night vision is horrible and sometimes impossibly visible. Youre always transferred to someone foreign and not domestic when you need assistance with anything. The cost is too high not to be provided the features provided in the contract
