My new home purchase in 2021 included this free service for 1 year. I csncelled after that year which they have recorded. Now 3 years layer thry are charging me monthly fees and win't show my account as cancelled. This is a terrible company with no communication other than sending bills. I do not recommend you sign anything with them

I reached out to *********** said they will resolve the issue. I paid $42.14 as a fee to return to the consumer after the bankruptcy filed 10/25/24. It was resolved 1/28/25. The agreement is that all payments have to be on autopay due to Vivint being included in the bankruptcy. They assured me that my first payment would be $47.14 on 3/26/25. They took $60.61. I reached out to Vivint via chat support on 3/28/25. I have screenshots of all the conversations. During this same conversation, I requested a return label to be sent for the old smart drive to be sent & a new one be sent in its place. I was guaranteed a credit a credit of $18.47 to be added to the next bill. They did not add the credit of $18.47 & the email I was sent about the return label could not be opened due to it being a damaged link. I reached back out to Vivint 4/17/25 to request a new label and was assured another would be sent by email but we had to wait to receive it. I had 30 days to return before they charge the account for the amount of the new smart drive. Still could not open the email with the return label. The next bill they charged the full amount & did not apply the $18.47 credit. I reached back out to Vivint support 4/29/45. I let them know I was upset & gave them another chance to fix the ************ did not. My *********** are being taken advantage of. I let them know the email they sent with the label could not be opened. I requested it be sent in the mail but they couldn't. During this chat conversation I told them numerous to refund the money for the credit I was suppose to receive, to cancel the account & send a new label via mail so that we wouldn't be charged for it. They refunded the credit but did not send new label or cancel the service. I gave them 12 business days to cancel the service. I told them numerous times that if they did not resolve the issue, I would contact the attorney general. Today, 5/15/25, They attempted to take $377.07 for the smart drive via autopay.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Their sales people are dishonest, they sold me a $4,000 system that does not work even though they told me it was compatible with my current wiring, etc. After a year, I tried to cancel my service and was told that I would need to pay off my equipment before I could cancel. I received confirmation that my service was cancelled, but they continue to charge me. This company is dishonest and has zero customer service. Buyer beware.

Alarm services where good till I decided to cancel. Called the company to cancel in February 2025 and still being billed as of May 2025. Something about an email that was sent to me and I need to forward for final cancelation. If we no longer want the service cancelation should be enough when calling over the phone. I don't think this is fare and right.

I have been trying to cancel my two accounts since March 2025. Seven calls later I'm still trying. It's insane.Their security system also is not ideal. When they do a security update it often shuts down your system so doors to not unlock or lock anymore until you reboot your panel, Do they tell you when they do a system update? No, you find out the hard ****** not use this company. It's scam.

Unreliable equipment, keeps going off line, had system under contract 3 years, doorbell camera only worked half time. Called at least 20 times per call, rebooted, turned off circuit breakers, unplugged every rotour, box, plug, continued go off line. U have to have lots time off n be home for several hours to troubleshoot only have go off line again within week. Not worth $$$

I trusted ****** to come into my home to make it safe. They left wires hanging all over my trim and against the wall. I have a one-year-old a three-year-old. So they made my home unsafe for my children. Sent two technicians out both didnt know what they were doing. One was drunk out of his mind and they stapled wires against the trim, leaving frayed wires with my children. They create an unsafe environment, and then refused to cancel or or rectify the situation. So theyre saying I have to pay them a subpar product that didnt work to stop the billing

I would very highly NOT recommend Vivint Smart Home for home security. **************** has been ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I had Vivint for 2-3 years before moving in February 2025 (contract is for 5 years I believe). I knew before I could deactivate my account I would have to pay off my remaining balance. I talked to customer service and MANY of them gave me various information that didn't match or kept transferring me to someone else. I made my initial call at the beginning of February, finally got the money to pay off my account in March, still had to make one more payment for the service in April (due to the contract). I called back to ** once my loan was paid off, we got on a 3 way call with myself, Vivint, and Citizens Pay to confirm my loan was paid off. Then ** said that my account would be deactivated. Fast forward to May 2025 and I receive ANOTHER bill for service. I've been moved out since February, made my additional 2 payments in March and April.. so why am I still getting billed? I call CS and I STILL OWE THEM MONEY. Apparently if the amount you owe goes over the bank's limit they transfer that over to your Vivint account. NOBODY KNEW THIS or told me this when I was trying to get everything paid off. I only found out because I called back to ask why my account was still active. I'm very frustrated that customer service is not knowledgable enough to make their customers aware that there may be additional charges on their account if they are using the entire limit of the loan they are given. **************** needs to be aware of this when customers are calling to deactivate or cancel their accounts. Seems like a great way for the company to steal money from it's customers.

Deceptive practices. The agent that installed the equipment stated this is a one year contract and tge fee to remove the equipment is $99. One year later the fee is $149 and I live in a hotel and the company don't want to honor the one year. I had to ask for a manager 23 times and request to cancel the contract 23 times. I called 7 times and each time I was told the account would be canceled in April of 2025. I spoke with DiVonari and he said some one dropped the ball. They should have transferred me to the customer loyalty department. I was told on May 12 that I need to pay over 1k to cancel.
