      On Friday May 16th, 2025 at 7:06 pm while not at home a woman with a Vivint shirt on rang my doorbell and I could see her through my camera but I did not answer the doorbell due to me being at a music festival and I would not be able to hear her clearly.On Saturday May 17th, 2025 at 8:44pm a woman with a Vivint shirt on rang my doorbell stating that she came on friday and we were not home so she came back to offer us something. At this point I told her it was 8:45pm at night and I was not opening my door to her and she still was trying to offer whatever she was offering and I told her whatever she was selling I was not interested in it. No one should come to your home selling anything once it is dark.

      It is impossible to cancel their service! They run you thought incredible hoops!My system stopped working and they wanted to charge me $1000 to fix it (it had been operative for less than one year). I replaced it with another system instead and they **** not let me cancel and kept billing me for months. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN Y LIFE AND I AM 73!!!!!!!DON'T USE THEM

      The deceptive business practices demonstrated by Vivint employees left me stunned and appalled, and with a credit card balance that should have never occurred. I'd never heard of Fortiva Credit before and reported it as fraudulent activity on my personal credit card. How stunning the process was. How deceptive the concern and hidden agenda in the process. It was scam on steroids!!! I regret making the decision to switch from ***. Sometimes the cost of premium is not worth the efforts. The last thing I would have ever agreed to was pursuing an additional credit card with balances and interest fees and monthly payments, when I already have cards that bring me great satisfaction. The deceptive practices involved the relationship between Vivint and *******. So untrustworthy. The product seems good even though all sales pitches have not proven true thus far. I believe it's worth me to pay a cancellation fee to come out of this agreement before I'm faced with additional unforeseen outcomes moving forward. If anyone reading this review is contemplating Vivint and Fortiva, read the reviews and spare yourself the disappointing results of this deception. I did not need to finance this contract. It was smoothly negotiated between Fortiva and Vivint.

      Beware of Vivint Smarthome because if you decide to cancel your account they will drag it out. "They have to review it in accordance with their cancelation process to help facilitate the request. Then if there are any issues, we will reach out via email." The problem is they "have you hung on a nail"" so to speak. The only advantage for the "cancelation process" is for the company to draw another monthly payment from the customer. Not only that but while conversing with them they try to intimidate you from cancelation with ridiculous repetitive offers. At one point with a representative I hung up because they are insistent and put pressure on the customer while on the phone and then they will continue with follow-up emails to entice you with offers to retain your active account. This company's policy for cancelation is outrageous and despicable and I regret ever getting involved with them. Beware of them.

      Sales people lied. Offer was to pay $450 for equipment and install. Payments were split into four months . Monthly service was quoted $36 per Month. Charges were added and services added that I was not made aware of. . I was actually being charged $48 monthly fee.I had already paid double of original quoted ******** fact when all said and done, the total package Im being charged for is over $1300 . $900 plus more than what was quoted to me. Called customer service and they did nothing. They said nothing can be done because it has passed time make any changes. I didnt know they had all these charges until after three months . When I realized I had already paid the initial price,(I had autopay.) doubled it in fact .So they wont do anything about it. Im paying $900 more than what I was quoted. I wish I never dealt with them. Terrible customer service and total liars . Sales team lied just to make a sale. I wish I could leave zero stars because thats what is fitting. Deceptive sales practices and terrible customer service.

      **************** leave a great deal to be desired. I have been a customer for 2 months and already I regret the decision. The associates do not listen - seems like they are reading from a script - but never fail to attempt an upsale. One issue arose when the system was not connecting. Another arose when the system was offline for 3 days, another arose when the newly installed garage door wasn't functioning properly. The last time I called - I was told to look for the connection that didn't exist - then I was told to look for something else which would have required me moving to another level - when I stated that I was temporarily mobility impaired - I was asked again to do the very thing I stated I was unable to do as a result of my temporary mopbility impairment. Each time I call I am told to consider an upgraded unit - and no-one has been able to tell me how I would benefit from a several hundred dollar expenture. When I stated I wished to cancel the system - (I want to find a vendor that has more consistenldy reliable equipment) I was told I could not. When I, in an email, stated my dissatisfaction and wish to cancel the service - I received no response. SO! Poor customer service. Unreliable equipment AND consistenly being ignore by Vivint - What can I do to get away from this entirely dissatisfactory business?? PLEASE - thank twice about using this company.

      They really need to stop knocking on doors with no soliciting posts. Several of my neighbors are thinking about pulling guns on the salesmen that are persistent, wont leave when asked, or knock after dark in the ******pm Range. I am truly worried for their employees.

      Vivint is the worse company I have ever worked with. I have had several problems from the beginning with this company. I had a racist tech come out to my house to service the panel but nothing happened to him after I reported it. I want to return the equipment but the equipment belongs to me now because I have paid the financial service that owned the equipment. Vivint has shut off my service that works with the cameras, panel, etc! Vivint tells me that I cannot cancel the service because I have an outstanding balance, yet they have shut down the cameras, panel, etc. I have had nothing but inappropriate, unprofessional, unpleasant customer service and service technicians. I also had a problem with a customer service representative and he was beyond unprofessional, his English was subpar and he hung up in my face after I asked to speak to his supervisor.

      This company makes it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel service, leading to continued debits and dead end phone calls. I have called to cancel service 7 times in the past three months! each time I am offered ***** different promotions until I am ultimately hung up on, every single time. I was even told, the last time that, to cancel service, I had to sign a form but I don't know how to get that form because after placing me on hold to get the form, I was hung up on, again. The only resolution came when I complained to my bank and they suggested I close that account and open a new one. STAY AWAY!!!!

      I have never had such an awful experience with a company. Our equipment never worked well, and when things broke, they charged $75 to send someone out to fix it. Then when we moved, they charged us $300 to take down the equipment and move it and cleaned it was "impossible" to waive the fees even though we had already had so many problems with their equipment and service. They literally do not care about their customers. We can't cancel either because they charge outrageous cancellation fees. I cannot stress enough how much I regret every purchasing from them. They did not explain any of these fees when we signed up. I feel like we were lied to and misled at every turn.
