After submitting a written letter of cancellation on June 19th, four months ago, and, on the same day, prescribing to COVE SECURITY, in their stead, VIViNT keeps trying to collect monthly service charges as if we still had an account with them. We receive tons of harrazing calls from them; it appears that there's no getting rid of them! We've experienced countless hours of lengthy phone conversations but to no avail.

I wanted to cancel my service with them. They first said I had to pay the remaining balance of my equipment which was around $750. So I paid that off and then they came up with 4 more hours on the phone to avoid cancellation. After speaking with a supervisor he stated a email would be sent to me. Which never did and they continued to charge my card. So I had my bank do a stop payment bc there is no way to get your card off the auto pay. My account was still charged. I then reported that card stolen. Next month I was still charged. The bank had to change my account numbers. Months later I receive a bill in the mail for 180. I call them again I get the everything to avoid the cancellation that I already requested. I send in an email to them stating why I want my account closed and they give me 30 and will determine if it will be canceled. Its been the worst experience of my life. My sister also had this company and moved to a different location that did not provide internet coverage. They refused to cancel her also. They had to send a tech to her house to verify and she also had to send a letter in before they would cancel.

I have had issues since day one with my equipment. 3 years later, I still have issues. Now they are occurring every month. Surprise surprise they want more money to make it work as advertised. The system never has worked properly.

Every month they are withdrawing 40 plus from my account and the ******************** system dont even come on and they are aware of it. Unfortunately they say I have an account. I have an active account active account and no equipment that but they still taking my money. with all these reviews that Im reviewing, they should start a class act suit against this company

Vivint alarm company I was a month behind on my bill. They use the card in their records to pay themselves. I did not give them permission. They did not notify me that they took the payment. When I called them about it, they said it was nothing that they could do. They said that this was a new process they had and I signed a contact agreeing to it. I have been with Vivint almost 6 years and that was not part of the contract that I signed. Auto pay has not been used in more than four years with my account. They tried to say that it was the auto pay. My billing date was 10/24 they took the payment on the 10/15.

******** service from the sales ***resentatives to customer service **** to management. The sales ***resentatives do not provide accurate information about the equipment or services. Last year a sales ***resentative came to my home to offer me upgraded equipment and if I were to go with the upgraded equipment then my bill will decrease. I asked several times for reassurance would my bill decrease and he continued to say yes it will. Come to find out I had an additional line of credit in the amount of $1800 in addition to the line of credit I previously had with my original equipment (now no longer using since I have upgraded equipment) I informed sales *** that I will not be at this address for much longer and did not want to be tied to any contract which made me hesitant to sign anything but the ***resentative assured me that there was no contract. Fast forward to now, I call Vivint as I am in the process of moving to uninstall the equipment and was told that I would have to pay $150 to uninstall the equipment. I speak with a manager and advise that was told the first move was waived. Management tells me that is false and because of the equipment/ billing issue and now moving issue that he would apply a credit of $200 to my account to help compensate for the $1700 that I paid for equipment that I was no longer using and was told I would no longer be paying. I pay the equipment off 10/15/24 and speak with the cancellation team to cancel services to be told that my credit cannot be refunded as it is there to be used on Vivint equipment or services even though I explained I would be cancelling my services with them. I spoke with a manager and they continued to tell me that they cannot even refund me the $200 that was promised even though I still had to pay $1700 for equipment I was no longer using in which Vivint uninstalled from my home.

Vivint's payment policies are underhanded and deceptive. We were told we would only be charged $50 to 100/mo but then Vivint comes along and tries to pull out over $1500 from our bank account saying ******* dropped us from their financing. But when we talked to Fortiva, they told us Fortiva did no such thing. Now Vivint is refusing to cancel or refund us anything until we pay off all the equipment up front, over $4000 which we do not have. This is bad business practice.

I signed up for Vivint years ago and have had many issues with equipment not working properly and Vivint not honoring repair and/or replacement.Instead of replacing faulty equipment at no cost, they charged my credit card. When a refund was requesting I was told a refund would be applied "To the end of my contract".They explained it would be credited to my account and not refunded to my credit ********* forward to Aug 2024 and Vivint calls to inform me my payment is late.Confused, I informed them that my payments are set up on automatic and shouldn't be late. Please send me a paperwork statement and I'll pay it.I double checked the automatic payment and everything online was fine.Removed payment information and informed Vivint I would be staying on paper statements. Finally after 6 weeks received a statement in the mail. Called Vivint to take care of bill and was informed the bill was 0.00. Vivint once again charged my credit card. UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE!Customer service tried to explain that once bill is 90 days late they charged old credit card. **** was just over 30 days late because paper statement didn't arrive for 6 weeks.
