      My cameras havent been working for over a month and they were finally going to come repair them today and canceled for the second time at the last minute. Terrible customer service!

      The. WORST! Do not waste your money with this company. They charge an astronomical amount of money for security devices that are faulty. Weve had problems with our security devices since installation. Then, when you ask for a service technician to come evaluate the problem, they want to charge you more money. Canceling and switching security providers.

      I Need an Attorney I WISH I could Rewind to the first time the Vivant Salesman rang my doorbell! After reading the other reviews I realize Im just another number and my Parents live in ***** and The Same experience happened to them. Basically same experience in Two different states Im in ******** and my 80 year old Father lives in *****. We were both sold a system that we did not need and can not afford. I shouldve known it was a scam when they were willing to install immediately.After having the system for a few week, I realize Im not using anything that they sold me. The problem is when I found out that they refused to take their equipment back as I was told they also ran my credit and gave me a $4000 Debit from a company that I would have NEVER APPLIED to. Naturally this comes with a high interest rate. Im now paying a high interest loan back Plus $80 a Month for a Service that I dont want! The salesman Sold US on the premise that if I ever moved that they would come and take the system down, put my old system back up and Re install in the New Home for FREE. Well my Dad tried that and they wanted $150 to Uninstall and $175 to Reinstall ????That was Not the agreement!!!LADIES AND GENTLEMEN DONT ?? WITH ******. Get a Ring doorbell system and Save Yourself THOUSANDS of dollars

      First off, I would leave zero stars if possible. Words cannot explain how terrible and overpriced Vivint security equipment and customer service are. I've had their system for four years now. For the first year or two the equipment worked great, over the last year I've had nothing but problems. I'm talking from the panel constantly dropping internet connection leading to the cameras not working to getting false disarm notifications basically everytime the system disarms. The equipment is overpriced and customer service is so bad, it's almost pointless calling to get issues resolved. I strongly suggest looking into ADT or one of the do it yourself systems like Ring etc. They're definitely cheaper, more reliable and most importantly, less stressful.

      Vivint Sales *** came inside wanting to discuss the security system and I felt very uncomfortable, and made me think that I was getting a good deal telling me it was less than my phone bill, fast track to getting a bill in the mail for $3808 for a security system that the front door bell isn't working, and we were lied to about the pricing. Why would I pay $3808 for a security system?? This company is a scam!

      I'd give less stars if possible. I only have this system in my home because it was part of deal with getting my solar panels. I never received any billing notifications as the system was "free" for 3 years and without any warning they now say i have to pay. No notification the 3 years was coming to a close and that billing would start, no option to opt out of service. Then while on the phone you have to give them 30 day notice of cancellation which is complete BS so that they can prorate an additional bill. If i cancelled any other service its cancelled that day. I will not be paying them anything ever. Not only is their communication and business practice unethical but the app to control the system rarely works and has been a pain to deal with. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company and their shady garbage.

      PSA-DO NOT BUY VIVINT. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!! I HAVE MOVED 2 YEARS AGO and they will NOT CLOSE MY ACCOUNT UNTIL I PAY FOR THE EQUIPMENT IN FULL (Over $1,000) and they are forcing me to pay an early termination fee for the remaining term of monitoring under the contract which originally lasted until 2027 ($900). Because my account is not closed for not paying the full equipment balance it will now default to collections on my CREDIT due to nonpayment for service at a residence that I am no longer occupying. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE SCAMMING SALESMAN ????? SHOWING UP AT YOUR DOOR TRYING TO WIN YOU OVER WITH DISCOUNTS AND PAYING LATER. BECAUSE YOU WILL PAY FOR IT!!!!!! And you better have the thousands that they ask for before it ruins your credit. This company gets NO stars from me. They better be lucky or forced me to check at least one

      They are the best in the business with bait and switch. I was quoted a price much lower while I was shopping and comparing prices. When I called back the next day to sign the contract, the price changed significantly. BUYER BEWARE!

      If I could rate Vivint a "zero," I would. A few months after the equipment was installed, I reached out to the *** who performed the installation for information concerning their camera system. I made no less than ten calls spaced out over ten weeks or so. He NEVER returned my call!I contacted their corporate office in order to speak with his supervisor and explained the issue. The supervisor either never got the message or couldn't bother - much like his subordinate.The installer's name is **** and his number begins with an 801 exchange. I urge you NOT to engage their services if he will be the point-of-contact. He is irresponsible and unresponsive. Also, I've had at least two break-ins since the equipment was installed. I was assured that, since the system is cell-tower based, it could not be hacked or deauthorized. That is NOT the case as the system was never activated during these events.
