      *0 stars* I no longer live at my previous home. However, I am still being charged for the equipment. Vivint does not have a transfer process for equipment financing, which is senseless and an outrage. I will never use them again.

      A Vivint Security salesman showed up at my friend's( Mr. *** house. Mr. ** has had a stoke years ago and is unable to speak, or write. Suddenly Mr. ** has a bill for almost $2,000. I called Vivint asking what was going on. I went through a nightmare to get this resolved. An option for cancellation is not offered through their automated line. When I did get a person , over seas, I could not understand what they were saying. I made countless calls to resolve the problem and it took over two months before it was somewhat resolved. Once we were given a date, and time frame, for someone to show up to take out the equipment . No one showed up. I was told no work order was in place. I called and was told I should have been sent paperwork to fill out. I sent the paperwork, filled it out , and sent it in, . I didn't hear from them. Numerous times I told the company to call me , not Mr. ** because he is mute. More calls, more calls, more calls. they said they called Mr. ** phone although they had it on file to call me. Today the workmen were to come out to get the equipment. I was told that they would call before coming. They did not call. They showed up to Mr. ** house and took out the equipment, and left. There is some damage that we will have to ***air, from the equipment being taken out. The doorbell was supposed to be reattached. It was not. The door was rendered unable to lock but we got that fixed for Mr. ** Now that the equipment is returned Vivint said that they will now credit his bank account for the money they have been withdrawing. We will see. Mr. ** had an old security system sign in his yard and the sales *** stopped and took advantage of a man who is obviously unable to understand what was going on. ***** on this company and their huge run around to not resolve the issue.

      Lied about moving my system for free. Can't lower the price or get out of the contract even though I have never turned the alarm on and actually used it.

      I wish I could leave zero stars for this criminal company. I had Vivint for ten years and when I finally got tired of paying their crazy fees I attempted to cancel their service. I have called multiple times, sent several emails, filled out their required email with intent to cancel and been harassed by them begging me to stay for MONTHS I have tried to cancel and not only will they not cancel my service but they are continuing to bill me. Someone tell me how to sue them? I am willing to do just that.

      My contract was up over a month ago yet theyre still charging me even though i gave them a 30 day notice. No one will call me and I cant get ahold of anyone. I hope this company gets shut down, youre nothing but thieves and I want my money back NOW or Im getting a lawyer involved **** and turning this into a class action because clearly you people rip off everyone who uses you.

      We just recently sold our home in ******** in October, called to cancell service as we are moving out of state. Sent technician to remove all equipment and boxed it up for us to take. Got a notice in November about account being past due. After talking to multiple people for an hour, was told charge was dropped but had to file a request for cancelation witch would be reviewed, this was the 19th. We got charged again on 26th from auto pay, called again and was told money won't be refunded although was showing the account was canceled

      I was approached by a salesman June 8th of 2024. The salesman was very pushy and it seemed like I wasnt going to be able to go into my house unless I bought the security system. The salesman offered me a 9 month trial period and a 1 year contract so I signed up for the system reluctantly. I have tried to cancel my service but they are wanting me to pay a termination clause because I am past my 3 day trial period when it was supposed to be 9 months and it is now a 5 year contract when I signed a 1 year contract. The equipment is very intermittent and hardly work. I have tried resetting the equipment and even had my internet company come check all of their stuff. Needless to say I was scammed and either have to pay $1100 or $2200 to be able to cancel my service so I can move in with a family member to help take care of them. Over all I would not recommend this service to anybody unless you want to be lied to repeatedly and loose unnecessary money.

      ************** shady sales practices, and predatory contracts. *** had this service since 2021 and recently wanted to do the smart smoke detectors. Not only was Im a sled on the smoke detectors themselves, but when the technician came to install them did not install them where I would like them and thats when I found out that they werent wired they were wireless. Now I have two smoke detectors in each room and an eye sore. When I called Vivint, they told me their smoke detectors werent supposed to be the primary ones and they were just a secondary. Why would anybody spend $700 on smoke detectors to be a backup? Smoke detector to another smoke detector. Called today they canceled their service because I no longer use it. I moved and Im not calling them to move my service because theyll lock you into another three-year agreement however, to my surprise Im already locked into another three years from when I bought the smoke detectors. This was not disclose to me when I signed the contract for the loan and I even asked the service tech technician is going to put me into another contract. He said no your contract will end when originally is supposed to end. That obviously was a lie. If I could give this company zero stars, I would, however I am forced to leave them with one star I do not want their service anymore. I need them to leave me alone and let me live the rest of my life in peace with a new security system company.

      **BUYER BEWARE**Absolutely the most unethical and unprofessional company I have dealt with in years. I have been a customer for almost seven years. Due to their incompetence I have decided to cancel service. They refuse to cancel! They give every run around tactic, like putting you on hold forever, transfer to manager, and nothing, theyve even offered to SELL me upgrades. They cant even get what I currently have to work. I have reached out to **** to have them place a merchant block on anything related to VIVINT since they refuse to cancel my service. I dont understand how there isnt a class action against them at this point. I would certainly join ! Good riddance VIVINT!!!
