  DO NOT GET VIVINT YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!Setting that aside the reasons of why vivint is the worse company are too many but coming from a unfortunately current client, here are some:1) you are tied to a horrendous contract with a third party bank(citizens bank) who also are bad at doing their job and intentionally make you be late on your payment to charge you extra. 2) about being late every single month I have to get a call because I am late on a payment and have to pay two months because that's what their system tells them, the pass due amount and the next months and they can't do anything about it and management can't do anything either. But you set up auto pay, no kidding then why am I late on my payment? I would like to know too so every time they call, both citizens and vivint, I ask why they didn't withdrew they have no idea of why but they can see it's set up in auto pay; yes every single month this happens. every month I set auto pay and they still call me that I am past due. they taking me to bankruptcy. 3) Even if you se ** auto pay on your own in their not so user friendly portal it still doesn't get taken out. 4) they harass you with collections even when it's their fault that your payment was late. And their agents couldn't get any nastier.5) do not try to get tech support at all because they'll charge you a left kidney. Also their so called "best of security systems" break after 1 month. 6) if you end up contracting with them, make sure you look at the invoice order. They will try to charge you for stuff you did not agree to.

  I've been on the phone with this company several times for several hours and getting nowhere where I called in less than 30 days of it being installed to get it removed because my husband walked out and hes been spying on me they're using they use an excuse I called again there's an excuse of 30 days I call again the like paid off in full I called citizen which said they which said they will work with me long as they will cancel the system They will not cancel the system

  I ordered service and after further consideration decided to cancel within the 3 day cancellation period. They avoided my calls. I emailed, faxed and mailed all cancelation notices. They sent me a notice saying that recieved my forms but have failed to contact me after 7 days of notice. Beware they do not have your best interest at heart and are a predatory company who will lock you into a contract for devices worth a third of what they are selling them to you for.

  I make my payments on time for the service and the hardware. It's been a few months. Everything was going good. Today the doorbell camera just decided to stop working. Called support, and I don't have a t5 s**** driver. They then proceeded to tell me it's going to be a 49 dollar fee to come out and fix it. After a few months already issues and they ate trying to squeeze more money out of me. On top of that I call and get and Indian person to help me diagnose and I can't understand half of what he is saying. When I sell the house this system will stay and I will never use vivant again

  Horrible service the sales rep lied to me about a free cancelation trial now for me to cancel I have to pay up **** dollars. **************** ***** no help what's so ever. I give it 0 star rating. The WORST decision I ever made in my entire life.

  I would give zero stars if I could! My next stop will be to file a complaint with the attorney general's office. This organization was supposed to return my deposit back on July 22, 2022. After I read all the bad reviews I immediately canceled my installation appointment. They said they would return my deposit and now 13 days my deposit has not been returned!!

  I have had 2 of your sales reps come to my house offering/selling your services over the last 3 days. I have a very visible in plain sight no soliciting sign directly next to my door.The first person came about 2 days ago, and I thought it was strange that a large company would be ignoring my sign.The 2nd salesman just came about 25 minutes ago at 9:56AM with the name ****** and when I pointed at the sign and told him that he was not obeying the law and that I could call corporate and that that would be bad, he said No, it wouldnt be bad., with arrogance and Self-righteousness. I couldnt believe that this guy believes that he can just get do this with no repercussions. I attached a screenshot of ****** to this email.I have now completely lost respect of your company and it puts a sour taste in my mouth with your brand. Your company needs to obey the law.

  I received an offer from Updater for a Vivint doorbell, based on which My contact information was passed to Vivint. After a phone call with one salesperson, I realized it was out of my budget and declined the offer. Over the course of the next 4 hours, I received text messages from 3 separate sales reps at Vivint - ***** ***** and *** - to ask if Im interested in their product.Theres sales, and theres spam, and repeatedly contacting someone who has already spent time on the phone with a sales rep and chose not to purchase the product is crossing the line.
