They did not install all the equipment they promised. (And I paid for on their contract). The equipment that they did install does not work like they said. They have refused to return my phone calls about finishing the job they promised. They are very deceptive. I feel like I have been taken. I will not pay for a partially installed system, which is not what was promised by them. This will now hurt my credit, because why should I pay for something that they did not provide.

To Whom It May ******** Two weeks ago, I get a knock on my door, it was ********************* from Vivint. They were going door to door in a new construction build neighborhood. It seemed almost fortuitous, as my wife and I were speaking of wanting to get some additional security, due to our toddler learning to open windows. ********************* was very knowledgeable and a good salesmans. He sold us on a package that with tax came out to be around $3,000.00 (Equiptment package), with monthly monitoring to be $19.99 once the equipment was paid off. The installers came that night, and took far longer than we were told, and broke a brilliant home switch ($400.00), and made a mess of my home. It is worth noting, they did replace the property they broke 2 weeks later. The next day or 2, I see my **** and see a balance of $********. I contact *********************, and he assures me it is an error and that he will fix it. I wait a few days, and nothing, I call vivint and they tell me I am suppose to be charged $ ********. I again contact ***** this past Friday 8/5/2022, and he tells me he almost had it sorted, and to give him till Monday 8/9/2022. I text him Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and call him Wednesday. He has yet to respond to a single message on 8/12/2022. I also find out, that ********************* has attempted to cancel my service with Vivint (They left a voice mail on my iphone stating he did). I contact Vivint and speak to a supervisor in their loyalty department. I send them documentation showing the original document that showed the price of equipment, the monthly monitoring charge, the transcribed voice mail showing that ********************* attempted to cancel the service I was paying for, from under me ( which is my families security while I am at work), and the string of texts that ********************* ignored. The supervisor informed me he would call me back, it has been several days and nothing. I have wasted 10+ hours on the phone on hold, trying to get someone in vivint who has

I signed up for Vivint on July 30, 2022. I was extremely happy that i didnt have to wait long on the phone to talk to someone and paid $155 up front, which they pulled out that day. I realized later that day that I was still under contract with ADT. I called them to let them know I had to cancel, im within my 3day rescission period, and the real fiasco began. I waited on hold about 15 minutes and when the person answered I gave them all the information necessary and then they said they had to transfer me to another department that takes care of cancellations. The phone disconnected. I call back and go through the same process, this time I get through to the 2nd department and cancel. OK good, that's done. No it is not!! I call again on Sunday because something told me I wasn't given all the information. This time I told the 2nd dept I get transferred to doesn't do the cancellations, they take the information and forward it. I call back Monday to verify this has been cancelled and am told I didn't cancel it the right way. It has to be emailed. They send me an email with the information required, I send it right back completed. Now, they can't issue me a refund until they receive their equipment back. I get the equipment on Thursday and call them Friday for a return label. Well, the person I talked to said I'd get a return label in 24 hours. Never got one. Called Sunday, rep said he would send the return label request up, but the person wouldn't be there until Monday. I call back on Monday and finally get a return label. I ship it out that day. They receive it on Thursday. I call on Friday to fund out about my refund, and am told my cancellation request was incomplete, but once the rep looks at it and sees my information is there, he escalates it. It sounds like no one opened it to begin with. All in all, I probably spent a good ***** hours on the phone trying to cancel a service I hadn't even used, and they still have my money. So frustrating!!!

Horrible service! When you try to cancel you get the run around. The phone call gets disconnected when you make your point. Unnecessary charges and hidden fees.

Vivint robs hard working Americans. I had to budget smart home security for my family. These days have been hard enough but I was wanting to make the sacrifice for the safety of my family but unfortunately the system doesn't work properly and now I have too pay $4000 to cancel services that aren't being fulfilled by a huge corporate. The sales and install team lied to me about the price I'll be paying. The equipment doesn't work right and the app to monitor home is horrible. I was told over a week later (not knowing that they you only have 3 days to cancel because the sales guy told me a month) that it has been a problem that customers have been experiencing this same issue with android operating systems. Had they told me this from the beginning I would have never allowed these thieves in my home. Unfortunately now, Vivint is hassling me in regards to cancelling. I've been trying to cancel since before me 30 days cancellation timeframe but they wouldn't. I guess since the government can't handle big businesses like this, us middle Americans need to do the best we can. They are going to ruin my credit because I'm refusing to pay but they have been and continue to ruin other Americans lives because of the deception and lies they use to get contracts. Read the reviews and you'll see that there are thousands and thousands of Americans with the same issues.

When sales representative from Vivint came to my home to present their system I asked him if I should call CPI first before getting your contract and he said no not necessary, he said call CPI after our system is setup so he had people install all the equipment in my home. He said you will receive $1000.00 after closing with CPI. I asked the sales representative are you sure I do not need to call CPI and close with them first again and he said no, don't call CPI, until we set you up first with Vivint. When I called CPI I am still under contract with them and I found out that it was illegal for Vivint to start a new contract while I was under contract. I have tried to cancel the service with Vivint several times and they have refused. ****, no last name given employee number #****** claim to be a supervisor that had called me back from Vivint stated they will not cancel contract and I am responsible for the financial contract of $4230.00 and service contract. I found out later that Vivint has multiple lawsuits and legal actions for misinformation and deception. If Vivint company representative started out a contract deceiving me. He had me sign Vivint contract knowing it was illegal. I DO NOT want to continue business with Vivint. I learn of Tortious interference, also known as intentional interference with contractual relations, in the common law of torts, occurs when one person intentionally damages someone else's contractual or business relationships with a third party, causing economic harm.***** S

Good security monitoring but HORRIBLE customer service if you're trying to cancel. I moved and couldn't take my paid off equipment with me so I had to cancel. That has already taken 3 weeks and 4 phone calls - two of which involved them calling citizens bank to verify I had paid off my equipment. God forbid they make a note in my account after the first verification. Then after going through all that, and paying off my ridiculous contract, they send me an email saying my account is NOT canceled and I have to email them back saying I want it canceled. AGAIN.

I was sold that the outdoor cameras will have playback feature, no need to have a SVR drive. Sells rep even showed me how the playback would work. It has been 2 months and this playback feature doesnt work. Tech support tells me that this feature is not released and that they are working on it.

Vivint is by far the worst company Ive ever dealt with. My equipment doesnt work half the time and several weeks after the initial installation I still havent gotten my doorbells installed. I had to call to ask when they were coming because they never showed up. I made an appointment for the doorbells to be installed and no one showed up. No call no show. Theres much more than that. Terrible service!!

We were approached by a sales rep for an alarm system for our home. Being a SAHM and my husband being military we were quite pleased to have this fall into our lap. After discussing things we were told that the service could be canceled at any time, but the equipment would have to be paid for, and the terms were 60 months. The contract states 60 months, but what it does not clearly show is that the service is also for 60 months. Now my account is inactive so I cannot get into their login account, and yet they are still charging me for service, for an unactivated account.
