      Regarding cancellation S-******* RR This morning My Business received a Yelp Review which after investigation we found was posted by one of Vivint account managers .This past Wednesday , I called Vivint inquiring for service costs for my home , then , I see email later sent to me , and I decided to cancel .On Thursday , I called for Cancellation , and had argument with your representative, after cancel complete , she hung up .She sent me email with cancellation confirmation, then , I replied Thank you . Email I sent to her had my signature with my Company Information .This morning I received a bad review on my business yelp . After tighten all knots , we realized that review has been posted by Vivints Account Manager ( *********************** ) as describes in detail how conversation was .Please understand my service inquire with Vivint was for my Home , not for my Business .I find this kind of Retaliation review completely unethical , inappropriate , childish, and unprofessional I sent email to Vivint PR , no response yet and filed with YelpI will appreciate review Vivint's *********************** posted on my Business Yelp to be removed , my Business has nothing to do with the inquire I had with Vivint for service in my home .Thank you,

      Vivint was recommended to me by a company that facilitates interstate movers by providing assistance in establishing accounts with public utilities, internet providers, security companies, etc. I wonder now if Vivint provides a kickback to that company for accounts secured. When I balked at the purchase price, the installer insisted that my efforts to reduce the cost by reducing the amount of equipment purchased would not result in any significant savings. I would recommend that purchasers check the installation immediately, which I did not to my detriment. The installer ignored my request to reduce the equipment and I ended up with equipment that I did not ask for and a charge of several hundred dollars for equipment that was not installed. It was disclosed whether the installer receives a commission. I also returned defective equipment and spent more than a few hours on the phone trying to get a credit to my account, which did not occur for more than a month. Also, I was never notified that the issue had been resolved. I have spent HOURS on the phone trying to resolve issues with defective equipment and billing concerns, and I have had the system for much less than six months. Regretfully, there are other unfortunate experiences I could relate, but in brief, expect a hard sell of grossly inflated costs for equipment, poor disclosure of what is included in the "package" offered, frequent problems with defective equipment, and long waits for customer service that is often uninformed (several can't answer basic questions about how the system performs). I even discovered later that some of the sensors were improperly installed by the Vivint professional.

      I used to have nothing but great things to report about Vivint but clearly they do not hold their end of their policies. I moved and was not able to install their security camera system in the new home I was renting in a different state I had move to. Originally they stated that all would be well as long as I continued to pay my loan for the equipment and that I could resume services once I had my one place again or rented in a home that allowed me to install the security system. Lies all lies. Worst business ethicsthese crooks continue to attempt to charge me for services!

      I had Vivint at my home for several years. When My husband and I moved out of state 2 years ago, I called to have it disconnected. I was told it had to be in writing, so I mailed in my request. After looking through my bank statements, I noticed I was still being charged for it. When I called about it, they said they had nothing on file, and since I had no proof that I sent it, it never happened. Even though they have a record of the phone call I made telling them we were moving. $1200 taken by these crroks.

      Terrible!! My thermostats do what ever they want! The company will not help at all.. terrible terrible company!! I am fighting them now for a full and complete termination of my service I can not believe I was such an idiot and fell for this poop!!! I am so disappointed in all of this. Read reviews and do your research before you get stuck like all of us.

      This company is HORRIBLE!! We needed a security system for our home and our business. A salesman came to our home and sold us on the system. We have had nothing but trouble with it since we signed up! The service has been horrible. It never worked properly and we could never get someone to come fix it. Then, we had 2 bills and I was paying with one check and putting each account number on it along with each bill. That was apparently too difficult for them to understand because they were putting it all on one bill. I had to send them in two envelopes and 2 separate checks. Then, I found out when our contract was up, so I mailed our bills with a letter in each one stating that I wanted our services canceled. We were told that I didnt cancel it properly. Today, we talked to them again and they said that we couldnt cancel until we paid them even more money! We had to pay it or face collections! ????This company doesnt deserve even 1 star!

      When choosing Vivint. I was told once the equipment was paid off, the service for home security was month to month- by the sales rep. Today when I called after receiving a bill, I was told I was in a 60 month contract. Even though I've paid the equipment off. A customer service representative said it would cost almost $2,000 to get out of my contract. Online however, Vivint advertising as a "no contract required" business. I was completely shocked as I was never told this. Lying to trap people into a contract seems to be what they do. If Vivint requires contracts, they shouldn't be allowed to advertise any different.

      Do NOT purchase Vivint. We were with them for a number of years and were quite happy. After some malfunctions, including having police go into our house with guns drawn, we bought out of our contract yet continued to receive emails that we owed money. I have spent so much time explaining and re-explaining our situation to various agents, being put on hold for 25, 26, 36 minutes on so many calls. I have contacted businesses few times to complain. Of those, Vivint clearly has the absolute worst customer care service. They are absolute garbage. As I said, do NOT go with Vivint.

      We had a great experience for our law office so we decided to install Vivint in our home in July 2022 for a vacation in August 2022. HORRIBLE!!!! It hasnt worked correctly since it was installed and we cant get any help from the company. A horrific incident occurred while we were on vacation and the cameras were not working so we couldnt determine what the cause of the incident was. Now were going on vacation again (Oct 2022)and cameras are still not working. Cannot get anyone to help from Vivint. Please go with a reputable company and avoid the absolute MESS we have gotten ourselves into.

      I purchased the vivint home system in May of ****, it took them 3 weeks to install the system, and I was informed on the day of installation that all products are not available and will be install in July. It's is now October and they have not completed my installation. The cameras has no visual since September and when I call customer service they and rude and informed me that there is no technician available to fix the cameras until the next 2 weeks. It is now 2weeks and no one has called and my calls seems to fall on deaf ears. Was told inorder to cancel service I will need to pay a total of **** dollars. I have paid the monthly payments on time each month for a service that is below standard.
