      They keep sending me defective outdoor cameras and then they are giving me a run around to replace the Camara for the second time. I am so disgusted with these people right now. I trouble shooted with them and the Camara still did not work and they still gave me a run around and continually leaves me on hold until I hang up and call back. I have called them 4 times today and I'm on hold right now as I'm writing this.

      Zero stars. Only left one star because form would not let me provide zero. TrueType a nightmare. I share the experience of all the others that have tried to cancel a contract with this company. Was told that I would have to tell them not only why I wanted to cancel, but what company I was changing to, how much they were going to charge me a month, what the terms of their contract was, and how they had contacted me. After a prolong period of telling them that I felt their questions were inappropriate and unnecessary and I would not answer, they proceeded to transfer me over and over. Finally they told me I would have to pay thousands of dollars to cancel and had to submit a cancellation form. I requested the form and have never received it.

      Deceptive sales he lied about my contract length. What I was told and what was written in the contact are different. The product and what was promised are two different things, just like what I was told and what I found out that I signed for. The quality is ok at best. I've had several false alarms, equipment that stopped working, connection losses. **************** is a joke it can take up to a week calling every day to get things fixed and they don't call you, but they say they will. I wish I never would have answered the door. don't use them you'll be sorry. ************

      This business is a nightmare. Trying to cancel after having this service for 5 years. Had a representative come to my house and advise system needed to be upgraded from 2 g to 5 g and someone would contact me. No one ever contacted me and now trying to canc. Called on august 15 2022 to cancel talked to ******** ***************************** said needed cancellation letter. He emailed letter I printed it out signed it and emailed it back. Service still not cancelled. Talked to ******* sad when I talked to account manager on 15 he did not refer to cancellation department will do that today. Will take **** business days to cancel. What a nightmare!

      Would LOVE to give them NO stars!COMPLETE SCAMS. Canceled our plan the VERY NEXT DAY mailed off all their products via ***** with their shipping label. Was told within 30 days would get our refund its been OVER A MONTH & NEVER received our refund ON TOP OF THAT they charged our card 3x this week! We did EVERYTHING just as the contract said to do we PLENTY of time before the trial was over. Dont even get me into the sales rep. ***** a WHOLE OTHER heated issue. Lets just say a restraining order was fixing to be put against him. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE ALDER.

      I have had a hard time with this company. I moved and requested to transfer my equipment. This resulted in a contract renewal. I came down with COVID and had to reschedule my appointment. I cant get any assistance. I have no equipment. I am paying for literally no equipment.

      First of all..what a nightmare. Do not go through this company for your home security needs. This is a DIY installation system, and if anything goes wrong, you're screwed and will not get reimbursed. I have had this service since June 15th 2022 and have not been able to use it. I got my equipment in 3 business days, no problem starting out. I went to set everything up and my communication panel wasn't working. I was told by a tech support it needed an update and a new SD card would be sent. Never came. Called back. They said instead a tech would be sent out, but didn't know when one would be available, could take weeks to months. I told them that was absurd. They ended up sending me a new SD Card, I put it in the panel, then my master code wasn't being accepted, spoke with multiple people over 3-4 week timeframe trying to get it completely reset so I could finish setting it up. no one was able to get it to reset on Alder's. Called them again today stating i'm through and want to cancel and I want my money back since i haven't been able to use the service not one day since i've had it. He kept telling me i have a contract and there will be a fee, yet could not answer any of my questions to justify the charges and cancelation fee for a service i haven't been able to use at all since i've had the equipment, and have called many many time over the last 2 months. At this point they have my bank acct info so I can't force them not to take my money, and I'm not sure what to do, but they haven't heard the last from me yet. I cannot believe this is how they operate. I wish I could leave a no star rating because this has been horrible.

      We started service with Alder home security and the service is not working properly. Called the company to let them know the service wasn't working and they said they would send a technician. I told them I have had to many problems I do not want a technician to come out i want to cancel the service. They said we are in a 5 year contract. We did not sign 5 year contract and they said they would continue to take money from our account. How do we get the help we need to get away from this company that lied to us.

      I entered into what I was told were a 2 year contract. When my back camera went off line I call tech support to send out a technician were told they would call me to set up an appointment I did remind the agent that I have no security protection in my back yard, I also reminded the agent I live in a high crime area and that illegal duping been going on my property i need to see who is doing this so i can report it to the police. I called on July 2, 2022, July 11, 2022, July 18, 2022, July 25, 2022, Aug 8, 2022, Aug 15, 2022 as of today day no call, no technician, I ask to cancel my service so I can get security all the rep keep saying is you have a 5 year contract. I reply I am not getting service. Please tell me how I can get out of my contract. I need security service.

      ****** reviews have so many complaints I cant believe this is their first BBB review!! Salesman arrived at my door, did his pitch and sold the product. He offered same day installation. The technician arrived to install what I had purchased. He drilled a hole into wall which caused a spark, popping sound then I lost power to some of my things in my home. My light switch was in the on position, but my fixture had blown out after he drilled. I asked him if I should be concerned about this, but he assured me that he had everything under control. He got his electrical tape and toolbox and went to work. After he finished installing everything he told me he had fixed the electrical problem but for me not to attempt to turn the switch on for about 2-3 hours because things had overheated and needed to cool down ?????!! Of course it sounded fishy to me, but I was being trusting and unfortunately very naive! Of course my lights never came back on! Of course Ive learned that other outlets are not working now! Of course Ive reported it! Of course he didnt return after I was told he wouldalthough I dont want him touching anything else in my home! Of course Ive called the ***** number and have spoken with 4 different reps with absolutely no resolve. I wish I wouldnt have answered the door when the salesman came. This is a disaster! Spend your money elsewhere.
