      Worst customer service I've ever had have called atleast 5 times system hasn't worked in a month and half finally after being on hold for an hour tech supposed to come next week

      We moved after our house situation fell through,finally got it up but it never worked,never connected to our internet, they lied saying they would send another portal which we had to pay shipping and handling after the technician couldn't get it to work over the phone,we called back two weeks later and the responded with we wouldn't have sent another portal, they would send a technician after holding on the phone for 20 minutes to speak to a technician to no avail ,the customer service guy said he would get intouch personally with them and email me back,that's after almost a week with no letter ,phone call,or email, now all I hear is contract, contract contract, your equipment didn't work and you refused to replace or send a technician to fix a problem so you "LOSE A CUSTOMER!" over poor customer service and I will never recommend this company

      Alder doesnt even deserve 1 star but I guess it needs some kind of rating. Alder Security is a JOKE! When I first started with them, I thought it was going to be a great investment because I'm a single female living on my own and wanted the extra secuirty. Boy, was i played like a fiddle. The alarms are CONSTANTLY going off for NO REASON at all! Saying my windows are broken, someone is trying to break in my house, and the fire alarms are going off ALL THE ***** Technical support can't seem to figure it out (shocker). I've tried canceling this service and I'm told I'm in a contract, which NO ONE said anything about a contract. Not to mention it's for 5 YEARS!!! In addition to that, I had to install all of my equipment. There wasnt a technician out here to install it. That alone should be SOMETHING to cancel this account. They tell me the only way I can get out of this contract is if I send it to a friend or family member. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FAULTY SECURITY SYSTEM TO ANYONE EVER!!! They won't even tell me what price range I'm looking at to cancel my service. I will "get a cancelation letter in the mail". Seriously, such a joke. I've completely unplugged the panel. I'm better off just getting smoke alarms from somewhere else, having good guard dogs and firearms. Obviously Alder knows the company and equipment is GARBAGE otherwise you'd be able to leave reviews about them and their equipment right on ******* It also explains why there are these "contracts". They have to scam people out of their hard earned money somehow. I'll just have to cancel the payments from my financial institution since I can't cancel this ridiculous contract. Hopefully this helps someone in NOT choosing Alder. Go to ADT, or somewhere else.

      if i could give no stars i would!! this company pulled money out of my account without even having a system i have contacted there customer service line on 5 different occasions with no luck of getting anything resolved i have asked for a refund they say they will take care of it and still nothing and charged my bank card again. do NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THESE PEOPLE there customer service is a joke!!!

      I transferred a contract to the new home owner and they still charged my account afterward. Then when I called to get it corrected they said that department isn't receiving calls and I would have to wait for an email. 10 days still no email and multiple calls later I still have no resolution. If they come knocking send them packing and save yourself the headache.

      HOLE LEFT UNCOVERED IN WALL FROM INSTLATION WAS NEVER ABLE TO MONITOR SYSTEM ON I PHONE AS INSTAII0RS SAID THETY DID NOT HAVE WHATEVER WAS NEEDED TO CONNECT TO I PHONE.THIS WAS REPORTED TO RERESENTATIVE **** WHO AT THIS TIME WAS NOT INTHE STATE.HE STATED HE WOUID CONTACT PERSON IN CHARGE OF INSTALLORS AND ISSUES WOULD BE RESOLVED. ON 6 27 22 IN AN ATTEMP TO CANCELL CONTRACT AS NO ONE FROM ALDERS HAS BEEN BACK TO MY HOUSE OR MADE ANY ATTEMP TO CONTACT ME,WHEN I CALLED ON 6/27 WAS ON PHONE APPROXAMLY 45 MIN ASKED TO SPEAK WITH BRANDT NERDER COMPLIANCE MGT TOLD HE WAS OUT OF OFFICE.       Alder security has zero customer service. We were told that they would move our system free of charge when we moved well come to find out it will cost $100 to get them out to move the system. The fire alarm goes off for no reason and troubleshooting did not work nor did getting a new fire alarm installed. The contract is way too long and too expensive to get out of. I would not recommend this company at all. They take no responsibility for the equipment or for what the sales rep says to get you to sign the contract. They want your money but nothing else. To get out of contract you have to pay termination fee which is equal to monthly payments remaining on your contract.

      We have had problems with Alder security system for the last 4 months. The panel doesn't work, so I don't have any security for my home. The company saying they will send a technician and nothing so far. This company is not very reliable, I want out of this contract so bad. They told me I have another year and a half, which is wrong. It was supposed to be a 5 year contract and it should be up this year. They're lying to us and adding more time to our contract without notifying us of that. We have had problems with the cameras in the past. Our 5 years should already be up. I'm tired of paying for something that I'm not getting. Is there anything I can do to get out of this situation?
