      Comcast/Xfinity customer support is absolutely terrible! Their phone line to reach a real person is so bad! Good luck with any rate changes! they usually have an expiration date so you have to go through the same goat rope all over again. My advice, drop this service asap!

      I purchased an iPhone from a liquidation store (overstock and return items sold by merchants like Xfinity), and the iPhone happened to still be mistakenly locked by Xfinity. There is not an Xfinity store within 11 hours of where I am in **, so I decided to jump through the 10 million barriers necessary to finally get connected with a live *** (1.5 hrs later). I explained the situation to her- that the iPhone was not associated with any account and was purchased brand new from a liquidation store. She was sure they could help and transferred me to their mobile assistance department. I cannot stress enough how frustrating that entire experience was. Despite me offering to provide the **** and serial number to confirm that this item came from a store that purchased it directly from Xfinity, they continuously asked me for the previous owners info and would not take the **** or serial number. There is no account number. It is not registered to any account. He was extremely rude and ultimately told me he couldnt process my request or check anything because I do not have an account and do not know the previous owners account (there is no previous owner). Then, after I told him I was located in ** where Xfinity does not provide service, he told me to find an Xfinity store and speak with them because they do not have a process for my request. He knew the nearest store was 11 hours away, then muted the call until I had to hang up.Theres essentially no way to contact Xfinity ***s through social media, instant messenger (they only have a bot that does not work), or anything else. Absolutely ridiculous.

      Chat Agents sign me up for more expensive plans while telling me I am getting what I requested. They secretly upped my plan without my consent or inquiry and I had to find out and press the chat agent to do so. Scummy business practices and chat agents always trying to make a sale or upsell you without any plans of helping your current situation.

      I tried several different numbers and none would get me to a live agent. It is impossible. This company is a monopoly on internet service in ******** and it is shameful that they won't let you speak to a live agent. I have issues that the virtual assistant is not programmed to help me with. I unplugged the box about ten times at this point and the virtual assistant hung up on me. I can't believe this. The equipment is broken. It won't work. Xfinity customer service is the worst for capable. This company should not be allowed to continue. Monopolies like these are a blight to society.

      Trying to cancel is a huge pain in the ****. Worst customer service. Cannot understand the representative's accent at all. I hate Comcast with a passion. It's only because there's no other options that they get away which this.

      Cannot get a hold of a representative to assist me with a problem. It's impossible, worst service I have ever dealt with. I want to get rid of this service and I can't get someone on the phone to help.

      I spent ~8 hours this week in various chats and phone calls with Xfinity. My bill doubled from $50 to $100 for home internet after the promotion expired. I asked for a lower rate and signed up for a higher speed. My speed then went down to ~10% of what I had before. Xfinity is my only option for home internet. This is why monopolies are illegal. We need more options in *******. If you have a choice steer clear. And if you stuck, good luck! Try calling (not chatting with) the "retention department".

      Xfinity employee lied to me when I asked several times if it was a contract. Id be under and they promised me several times that I would not be under ************ they are trying to charge me 230 for termination after their employee told me I wouldnt have to.They dont honor their employee words or their own words

      Been with the xFinity service for years with no issues until now. Between the broken promises, the lack of support, immaturity, transfers, let me put you on hold and you either got transferred or the call was dropped, etc. only thing I ask for was for a old number on the account to be restored but instead I got whats mentioned above and a incredibly large bill over $4500 and if I paid that amount my account will restore including all numbers. But thats fine to change mine and the others, Her number is much more important, lets make sure she keeps that number. My wifes life is that number. She transferred that number to xFinity and to also mention shes had that number 18 years. Personal court matters, medical, schools and everything else important is tied to that number!, I explained to them. With laughter and chuckles in the background, Im promised itll take 24 hours to restore her number and many days have passed and still, its not resolved. Thank yall for your time.

      After having Xfinity for less than 3 months they increased my bill to $125 and when I called they told me it would go to $175 next month. I asked if there was a better deal and they told me they could bring it to $70 which is fine however they then told me I would have to Prepay 8 months right now. I just bought a house and lost my job so I cannot pay that upfront. They told me that is the only way to get my bill down. That is absolutely ridiculous and the guy on the phone was just as rude as I was on the phone had horrible customer service and hung up on me. I did not cuss him out but I was upset on the phone because this is financially challenging for me. This could have been handled better and I will be looking for another company.
