    They do not pay their contractors. I have invoices that need to be paid and they have yet to contact me to resolve the issue

    I have been with this company for 4 years it is the worst service I have ever received. I called on July 1st because my a.c. Was running hot and cold air. I was told that I had to wait 24 to 48 hours to get an email of whom they had chosen to service the ac. Mind you I was never told business hours. July 4th was a holiday. So that's 3 days. I called again on Tuesday. I was technically this was 24 hours. I called again on Wednesday and was given a tech's number over the phone. I called this person who had nothing from total home protection/services home warranty. I called total home protection back and she stated that he was too busy so she would have to assign another tech. Mind we are still on Wednesday so that would another 24 to 48 hours which would put us at Friday again just to get assigned a tech. So I called another company out who placed a compressor saver on my unit. I spoke with a manager from total home protection who assured that they wanted I help me and that they were trying to correct the issue. Needless to over the weekend (****th) the air is still running hot and cold. On Monday I called total home protection again and was glued to the phone for 2 hours trying to get back to that manager who was not available that day. Each time I was put in queue and eventually hung up on. I spoke to another supervisor who stated because I told the manager that I had gotten it fixed on my own that it was closed out. I am supposed to at this point to start a whole new claim and of course wait another 24 to 48 hours for them to assignment. ***** is in triple digit heat and I am at 10 days now of which they have no care what soever. My occasionally goes up to 95 degrees. This is of no significance to them. I need my a.c. Repaired asap.

    If I could give less than one star I would. I believed a salesman when he sold me the policy in 2020. Apparently hes on commission because he told me if my appliances couldnt be repaired, they would be replaced, for a $60 fee deductible. Wow what a lie. My air conditioner was a model that can no longer be used or repaired and they wont pay a ***** for it or my furnace. I have had to pay out of pocket almost $12,000.00 to have both replaced as they couldnt be repaired per technician. These people wont answer your calls or you are on hold for an hour or more. I have told my story a minimum of ***** times, only to get transferred again and again. If one more person says they are sorry, I will scream! I called this evening before what they say there hours are, to cancel my policy, only to be told Id have to call back AGAIN tomorrow morning. DO NOT TAKE OUT A POLICY WITH THIS COMPANY!

    I was suppose to receive a reimbursement for an ac repair that was done in July of last year I kept calling for check it was never mailed out than I had a fraudling charge on my card so I never updated with them in Nov I stated to them if I received my check I would keep there service if not that I don't want it at that time they said my check would be mailed out. I never received it they continued calling me to update my acct again I stated my check was suppose to be received within 4 to 8 weeks after service was done. Now they are saying because my acct is past due I can't receive my $$. I should still receive it because I paid it and was suppose to be reimbursed. The people I was talking to made it seem like they can't be touched like they have it in there documents stating that I didn't complete 12 months of service I kept infusing that I was suppose to receive the check way before the 12months so what does that matter. Please help me get my $$ back. They are rude, and crooks that just take people's money and think it's okay I hope other people have reported them too.

    Total Home Protection - Do Not Use them!!!I signed up with Total Home Protection 4 years ago. This service is an insurance to help protect you from getting hit with huge repair bills in your house. Supposedly if they cannot fix it, they will replace the item that is broken. It is all a lie and a farce. The first year, I used them one time right before my contract was to run out. It worked flawlessly so when the company came to me about renewing my policy, I was very interested. They offered me a 3 yr contract with a large discount and lowered my $65 service fee to $45 per call. I thought I had gotten a great deal, until I proceeded to use it. They would come up with all kinds of excuses that excluded them from fulfilling their responsibilities. After the 4th claim denial, which costs me $45 per claim, to be denied, I tried to cancel my contract and get a pro-rated refund for the balance of the contract. In order to do that, the one claim they fulfilled at the beginning of the contract has to be refunded, the amount they paid. The company took their refund out to reimburse themoney they spent, which left me with $0 refund. I have had to wait out my contract for it to cancel. I have not been able to use it because it costs me $45 every claim to find out that they are going to deny my claim. They offered to replace my glass top stop with a check for $250 which I have been waiting to receive for 2 years. Every time I contact them, they give me some BS story and say it is still being processed. The company, TOTAL HOME PROTECTION, is a scam artist of a company. They do not keep their word and find every loophole in the contract to deny every claim. Be aware of these companies, they may sound great, but it is better to try and work out a price deal with a local repairman first. I live in PSL and I had a technician assigned to repair my water heater from *****. He refused to make the drive to my location, he said it was too far. Company wouldnt send someone else locally.

    ServicePlus, formerly known as Total Home Protection, is the worst home warranty company out there. The first issue I faced was that they could not find anybody to send out to my area for 2 to 3 weeks. Ive had two appliances breakdown on me within a month of each other and neither of my appliances could be replaced nor fixed. I was told that due to depreciation my washer which is a ******* front load high capacity washer was only worth $200, and I had to beg for that. And my gas stove top was leaking gas and they obviously couldnt fix or replace that either and wanted to give me $100 for that and then I decided they could bump the price to $160. This was back in April 2022 and we are now passed 11 weeks of no reimbursement or anything. I was informed that it would *********** to 8 weeks, and in my opinion it is way too long for them to send out financial reimbursements if you are going to need that money to put towards a new replacement appliance. Now I know you all know that there is nowhere out there where you can purchase a brand-new washer for $200 or a new gas stove top that sits in an island for $160. They definitely insulted my intelligence and rob me blind. Charging me for a virtual house call that did nothing was the last straw. I will never recommend this company, Service Plus home warranty company to anyone. I am also going to report them to the better business bureau.

    It really should be rated a zero. It doesnt even deserve 1 star. It is nothing but a con. All they do is take your money and never pay a claim. I know people that have other home warranties and they stand behind their word and pay their claims. DO NOT BUY A HOME WARRANTY FROM SERVICEPLUS HOME WARRANTY unless you just want to throw your money away. IT DOES NOT PAY!!!

    Service Plus has deceived me for the past 6 month. They sent a technician to my house in January 2022 where it was determined that my washer was not worth fixing and I am due a check to purchase a know washer. They said it would *********** weeks. Since then my washer was not usable due to the very extreme knocking, shaking and loud noise and not usable. I've called every month to get an update on the funds that is was to due in the past 5-6 month and to no avail the same response is "I have to send it to my ****************** so they can expedite and issue a check to me right away". They told me that checks are issued every Friday but still no check. They advertise worry free but it's the opposite. I will be asking for a refund of my purchase of this warranty service.

    I filed a claim on January 11 2022. They approved ****** dollar. Im still waiting for my money. I have called them 6xs They said 6-7 weeks. Well its now been 6 months.

    In December 2021, I filed a claim for a broken heating element in my stove. Service plus said they "would not repair it". They said they will give me $250.00 toward the payment of a new stove. Service Plus promised to send me the $250.00 to me in December 2021. As of now, I have still have not received my $250.00 payment. I have called service plus almost monthly. I do not get return calls updating me the status of my check. Each time I called, the customer service representative keep saying the billing department is way behind in payments. I am reaching out to the better business bureau to try to get this situation resolved.
