    I have been a customer with Service Plus for about a year and a half. I filed my first claim because our washer was not draining. I had to follow-up to even get a technician assigned, which ended with a virtual call to diagnose the problem. The call occurred and I was told the drain pump needed replacement and that I would hear from Service Plus within 2-3 days. I never heard anything. I called Service Plus and they indicated they had not yet received the technicians diagnosis. I contacted the technician and they said they would *********** over right away, which they did. However, I never received any communication from Service Plus. I called Service Plus to confirm they received what they needed and the said they did and that they would assign a technician, send me the part, and then I could schedule the repair. That has been over a week. I have called them daily for a status and keep getting the same message that they haven't been able to confirm a technician. I am very frustrated because they take my monthly payment and even the $100 service call fee and then nothing really happens. I never had these kinds of issues with my previous home warranty provider. Every time I call they just tell me it will be escalated to dispatch (who they do not talk to customers directly) and that I will get an email when it is assigned. Please be warned if considering to use this company. So far, I am very disappointed.

    Please take the time to read so you dont have to go through what I had to:This is the worst home warranty company on the market today. I placed a service request for my AC and for almost 2 wks no one reached out. I kept checking the portal but the request was still waiting to be picked up. I then called and was told that they cant find a tech to come out. Thats when they offered the process of me finding someone and they would work with their claims department; which I was like really! So I find a tech and he determines it needs coolant. So then service plus wants all these test run, test they werent going to cover, and the tech was like I gave them my suggestion and they completely ignored it. So needless to say they didnt get my A/C fixed.So fast forward, my service according to my contract is ending so I wasnt keeping them so I let it expire. A month later I get a charge on my credit card not recognizable, so I call the credit company and there are like so you recognize service plus. I paid for the first service contract up front in full. Then I noticed they had been charging me the last 3 months. So I call to cancel and was told I couldnt because I was in a contract. I said NO my contract ended and they said it was renewed to month to month since I didnt call. He was like we sent you a new contract but couldnt tell me when it was emailed or when I got a call asking me to renew my contract; because real business would do that. ******* was rude, disrespectful, and ignorant. I have never, being the client, been spoken to like that. I had to block them twice with my credit card company and still dont know if they have stop trying. Again dont give this company a second look because you will regret it. I only leave a 1 because 0 isnt an option Thank you for your time reading this!

Due to limited availability of participating vendors and to avoid any delays in service, we offered reimbursement as per our policy. Reimbursement entails the consumer contacting a local vendor to diagnose the issue. The vendor must then contact us prior to any repairs to report the failure, parts, and pricing. Upon receiving a copy of the paid invoice for the covered repair, we issue a reimbursement check to the consumer. In this case, the consumer's vendor reported that the unit was almost empty of freon, indicating a leak within the system. To determine the source of the leak, a leak detection was required. However, as per our policy, leak detections are considered a non-covered condition. It's important to note that all claims are serviced in accordance with the Service Agreement, which clearly outlines both inclusions and exclusions. We are committed to providing a positive customer experience and ensuring fairness to all parties involved. The consumer purchased a 1-year monthly payment policy on 5/19/2020, which automatically renews at the end of each 1-year term. However, their policy was cancelled as of April 6, 2024.     They are up to their old tricks. I paid $100 for the service call. All they did was snake out my drain a $99 job. Now they have someone calling me saying I owe over $200 dollars because that was not covered. I think I need to file a claim against them for putting me under this stress and I told them to cancel my warranty. They have not done so, its just criminal behavior.

Although root invasion is a non-covered condition as per our policy, we approved the claim for snaking of the line.Our policy regarding plumbing system and stoppages clearly states:COVERED:Leaks and breaks of water, drain, gas, waste, or vent lines, except if caused by freezing or roots.Toilet tanks, bowls, and mechanisms within the toilet tank (replaced with builders grade as necessary).Toilet wax ring seals.Built-in bathtub whirlpool motor and pump assemblies.Stoppages and/or clogs in drain and sewer lines up to 100 feet from access point.NOT COVERED:All plumbing in or under the ground, foundation, or slab.Any piping or plumbing in a detached structure.Stoppages caused by root invasion.We remind our customers that they are responsible for the trade service fee allocated at the time of purchase. In this case, the consumer is responsible for the initial $100.00 trade service fee, while SPHW handles the balance.It's important to note that all claims are serviced in accordance with the Service Agreement, which clearly outlines both inclusions and exclusions.     My dishwasher was broken and your vendor refused to do the work so you guys forced me to pay to have it done myselfwhich I did. Oh and they also promised me they would send me $200 to help with this repair. This was in December and I never received the check. So to recap, they stole $100 for the service call then forced me to pay for my own repairs on top of that all while promising to send me $200 which they never sent.They are a scam and I have let all my friends know

    I paid for this service last year in 2023 and the first claim for service was denied.I filed a claim just last week and they are trying to to deny taking care of my furnace.They had me to pay both ************ $60.00 for coming out and then they find reasons not to service me.My furnace stopped working and they are not working with me. The maintenance man or technician comes out to get your money and they promise to call you and you don't hear from them They send out shady people who comes into your home and start looking for other jobs they can do for you but they left me waiting. Can I get my money back even though I purchased it almost a year ago. I paid out all of this money but I am very satisfied with their service. My furnace does not work at all and my home is cold. Please contact me as soon as possible. I need help. No one has money to just give away. ************** is definitely not recommended to any one.

    They denied almost every claim I had in my 2 years in this home. I paid over $2000 for a 6 year policy. Would like to cancel and refund at prorate if possible. They only agreed to pay for a couple small jobs but nothing that would cost them, a ceiling fan, and a bathroom vent, and ac once. When i had no heat, and a major water leak/plumbing issue they denied stating it against policy. Horrible.

    This company has not provided any services what so eer. Every time I file a claim. I end up having to look for outside assistance to provided service in which I was paying this company every month. I even filed reimbursement claims. And they made me wait 8 weeks to get a reimbursement. And when I refused to pay for services they refused to process my reimbursement. Don't ever go with this company they are complete frauds. You will not getting assistance and they will not reimburse you for out of pocket expenses.

    This is the WORST warranty program you would ever buy. STAY AWAY!!! Should be NO STAR!!I payed for the expanded warranty for 5 yrs. I have filed 3 claims in 4 yrs. One was a $2100 Microwave oven combo unit that could not be fixed and offered a $400 settlement after a $75 service call.Second was May 2023 for a Washing machine that was 10 yrs old, ******* $1000 unit, would not fix and offered a $300 dollar settlement after a ***** service call fee. Just filed a claim for a ******* $900 dishwaser ( purchased new 11/21/2021. did not want to repair and offered a settlement for $130.00 after having to pay a $***** service call. I would like a fair settlement for a 2 yr depreciation on the dishwasher that should last 10 to 15 yrs.

    I've been paying 61 dollers a month for the past 2 years,and last week I put a claim in for the first time,because my toilet was backing up, a they told me 24 hours then I called again then they told me 24 to 48 hours,,after that I called them up and told them did u find somebody yet to work on issue they told me no we are working on it trying to ignore me I told them I need to talk to supervisor, she told me wait I waited, after 5 minutes she tell me, no supervisor available, so I was realy disappointed with them,I'm still waiting no answer from *****************,,warranty,,it's not fair they could take your money,but won't help u with a claim..
