      After close to a lifetime of getting cable services from Cox, we canceled our service today. My wife called to renegotiate our contract package as our promotion was expired. This one phone call turned in to hours and days of speaking to reps, managers, and loyalty reps both on the phone and in person with different answers, and more problems. All we wanted to do was update our service with the best promotions. We were misinformed, not treated as long term valued customers, and put through so much inconvenience and stress. Cox is so costly and reps are not knowledgeable about packages, services, or honest about the agreements they strike with loyal customers. Not the Cox I remember from the early days.
      So long Cox Comminications.

      Never use their chat line it's a joke! They wasted 40 minutes of my time questioning me back and forth because I was trying to replace an 8-year-old remote that had broken. They wouldn't send it to me even though I was willing to pay the $20 they told me I had to go to a Cox store. So I called and it took them 5 minutes to set up sending me one through the mail

      Fraudulent pricing practices by chat and call center employees. Was offered pricing guarantees for service in writing however they were not honored. They brought me up to the next service tier under false pricing only to have the bill increase permanently later on. I have saved all communications and logs for backup documentation. Beware to any who do business with them. Will file a formal complaint.

      COX services are shady. We have internet only at our home and paid a flat rate of $70/month. One month, our internet service went to $90 without explanation or warning. I reached out to COX four times before getting an answer. They said a promotion expired on my account, I never got an email or notification on my account about renewing such promotion. I did not even know I was under a "promotional price." I feel that COX lies to customers about pricing.
      There was no resolution offered, except for that I would now pay $110/month the following billing cycle. Once again, I utilized internet only (Ultimate 500). I have disconnected service and will not be using them ever again! BUYER BEWARE!
      DO NOT USE COX!!!!!

      It is too bad that Cox has the Monopoly in this are. when you call Cox, you have to wait atleast 5 to `10 minutes and listen to their directions. you finally get connected and they do not even listen to yo, they transfer you to different department until someone understand. what you are sking.
      Hi cost of Cable, Internet and Phone.
      Loyalty is not worth anythiung with Cox. So upsetting!!!

      Cox is a horrible horrible company! Their product quality has declined while their prices continue to go up! Hate them and will be cancelling just as soon as I find a replacement! Disgusting people! Would give 0 stars if it were an option!

      Ruining my credit score over money that they know I do not owe. This is a scam racket. I have an open account with Cox Internet service. My account is in good standing. I disputed their collection claim and it was taken off several months ago. The same claim suddenly came back and dropped my credit score by 50+ points. Now I have to dispute the same thing again. This is extortion.

      Had cox cable install a fiber line and modem. Everything was fine until their contractor arrived today to bury the fiber line. Now my download speed went from over 200 Mbps to 4.32 Mbps and my upload speed went from over 200 to over 300. Messaged cox cable and they said they could not send a tech out until Sunday afternoon. I cannot believe they call that customer service. They break something then can’t fix it until a day and a half later. I rely on this service!

      Starting 3 weeks ago ccox started doing maintenance on tvs.now on Monday and Thursday I have no TV until I call and spend 2 hours with a tech.it finally comes back.
