Awful, unprofessional, 11/10/22 my 80 yo mother went for an oil change, they forgot to hook her hose back and when she left she was at the traffic light in the middle of traffic and the car wouldn't move. She had to wait an hour until they closed and I sent someone up to the business to tell them that she was stuck because they wouldn't answer the phone. Charged my mother for the most expensive oil. They eventually came, hooked her hose and promised a refund to her. Claimed they sent a check to the wrong address, it wasn't cashed because it never reached my mom. Contacted corporate in January 2023, they asked for a good address, but never re-sent the check. If you find yourself going there, please go somewhere, anywhere else because they are rip offs and it's a shame how they get over on the elderly/women.Review fromJenna H

Incredibly impressed with both Manager **** and technician *** at your #*********************************** location in *********, **. In less than 10 minutes, I can confidently say they managed to gain me as a new "long-term" client. After my experience, I could never go anywhere else again. Lightning speed efficiency aside, they were extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain things to me in a manner I could comprehend, made recommendations that made sense, proactively solicited me for any questions all while having an overall neighborly demeanor and even offered me water while I wait. I went there intending to simply get an oil change but due to the amazing individuals at this location, I sprung for some extra services leaving with a new air filter and a back wiper blade. Glad I did because when my old filter came out of my 2016 Jeep it was clear it was way overdue, infact it had never been replaced since manufacturing. This location is on an elevated level of quality excellence. It's a rarity to truly feel valued and appreciated as a client by any company but they accomplished this in mere minutes. I have 100% trust in the management and technicians at this location...and that's priceless. To say they exceeded my expectations is a grave understatement.Take 5 Oil Change

Went to this location for a oil change and a rep broke a screw while doing my oil change and told me they would order the part from bmw to fix it the next day because all they oil would leak out. They ended up getting the part and “fixed” it but now two months later all the oil is leaking out and I cannot drive my car. I’ve called the location numerous times to speak with the manager I dealt with but he refuses to return my callReview fromGregg E

Brutal. Avoid. I brought my ******** ***** cargo van in for an oil change. The technicians broke off the fitting that feeds the coolant reservoir, disabling the vehicle. The technicians then called the regional manager for advice and they were told that the vehicle would have to be towed and left at the dealer for repair in Mobile, an hour away on a Friday night with no service available until at least Monday, leaving me without the ability to operate my business or even get home to my dog. Needless to say, that was not an option. I had the technician drive me a minute away to an auto parts store where I was able to rig a part that still leaked coolant but would enable me to get home and arrange for the factory repair. This would also save them a large tow fee, so I was doing them a favor as well. Upon contacting Take 5, I was told that they were not responsible for any repair because I made the temporary repair and that it says so in the fine print. I replied that the fine print is deceptive after which he said "we have lawyers so you won't win". Then he said that they would pay for the part and repair until an hour later when he called back and flatly said that they would not. Find better technicians and a more honest business as my experience was dreadful.Review fromAmber R.

I went here for an oil change and tire air filled whatever. Simple task right? Apparently not. Ignoring the fact that I paid over $100 for just the oil change (the most Ive ever paid for just an oil change) They told me they would fill all my fluids for free. My transmission fluid afterwards was not filled at all. Not even showing on the stick. They didnt fill my oil all the way. They didnt even threw my bottom scrape cover after the oil change. They also asked me if I knew how to change the oil light on my dash, I said no and they still didn't reset it. Not that thats a big deal but when Im paying that much and every time Ive gone anywhere else they reset it. I called them and told them all the problems I had they basically disregarded everything I said besides the oil light. He tried to tell me how to do it on the phone but by that point my Grandfather already reset it. He basically was ignoring every other problem I had. He told me he would call me back after I told him I just wanted a refund. Never called me back. Overall it was a horrible experience. Just because you bring me a water doesnt mean you can do a horrible job like this. Not to mention the guy before me had to get towed because they drained his transmission fluid instead of his oil. I would give negative stars if I could.Review fromGary B

I took my car to Take 5 Oil Change on 12/23/22. Like others have stated my car has leaked oil ever since. I now have an appointment with my mechanic to fix the issue. I took my car back 5 times before contacting my mechanic to have my car fix right. The first time I took it back it was the same day, and they would not look at it because they were closing and told me to bring it back tomorrow Christmas eve and I had plans but did so anyway s******* up my day. They told me they stripped out the drain bolt and would have to replace the oil pan and put a "safety plug" in while they ordered the pan. The third time I took it back was to have the pan replaced and I had to sit in my car for 2hr while they worked on it. They then asked me to come back in a couple hours so they could inspect it to make sure it didn't leak anymore I did this and appreciated them making sure things were correct and that was my fourth visit. I was told after an inspection that all was good. I took my car home and it still leaked oil. I then crawled under the car myself to see if I could figure out what was wrong and discovered that it was leaking from the oil filter. I then took the car back a fifth time and explained to them what i found and he looked under it and agreed. He claimed he gave the filter another 1/4 turn and that should fix it, instead of draining the oil and replacing the filter correctly. I filed a complaint and have yet to hear back from anyone. When you call the customer service line no one answers ever it just goes to voice mail. I filed the online complaint and have not heard back. This is going to end up being a $300 oil change by the time my mechanic get done fixing Take 5's s**** up. Take 5 must stand for take it back 5 times. Never in my life have I had such poor service and oil change end up at my mechanics. Reading the comments on here seems like this is an on going problem with Take 5 and not an isolated incident.Review fromNatosha P.

I visited Take5 in June of 2022 for an oil change. Per usual during their inspection they ask if you would like your dirty air filter replaced. I agreed for them to replace it and paid for their EXPENSIVE oil change + the new filter. Because of Take5s high prices and the lack of customer service at this particular location I decided to patronize another business for this next oil change, which was 12/26/22. While visiting a different oil change place the guy asks if I would like my air filter replaced as it is the wrong size for my car and told me it has Take5s serial number on it or whatever its called for them. I asked for him to put it back complete the oil change and Ill go back to Take5. On my arrivalI explained the situation and 2 people are pulling up my information. One of them being the **** the store manager, can be heard saying I want to see who did her oil change, I bet it was so& so (she said an actual name but idk them by name) and then they laugh.**** the store Manager basically tells me that at this time it would need to be replaced regardless as my oil change was back in June and it is now December. She also goes on to say theres nothing they can do about their mistake because that old crew was fired due to their lack of proper work. I disagree with Leahs decision not to replace my air filter with the correct size regardless of the time frame. As a person who knows nothing regarding the engine of a car I would have never gone behind mechanics to check the size of the filter & catch it myself. They clearly have the paperwork, the name of the person who put in the incorrect air filter AND they can see that the air filter belongs to them via the numbers on it. Im not understanding why a correction wasnt made. &Come to find out an air filter that is too small for your vehicle can do damage to the engine. I want my air filter changed immediately!Review fromHeather R

I could not recommend this place any less. I have only taken my car here once to get my oil change and believe me when I say it will never happen again. I had to get my oil changed a couple of months ago and took my car to a Take 5 location. Unbeknownst to me, after my oil change was complete the oil filter was not replaced properly or securely. I didn't know this was an issue until later when my car started having issues. Apparently the filter was so loose that it caused an oil leak. My car locked up on me on the way home from work one day and thankfully I wasn't on the highway or else I would have been in an accident. When I took my car to get serviced, I was told there was essentially no oil left in my car and it was a miracle irreparable damage was not done to my engine. On the same evening my car locked up on me, I got a low oil pressure notification on my car. That evening I took my car to a different Take 5 location to just get the oil looked at since oil changes are not a long process, especially at a company that boasts about their fast oil changes. I had at least ***** minutes before that location closed and I was waved off. Nobody came to the car to see if it was something that could have been looked at in that amount of time. They refused to open the garage door and waved me off. At that point I truly was unsure I was going to be able to make it somewhere to get my car fixed. After all was said and done, it cost me roughly $800 to get my car fixed because someone did not replace the oil filter properly. I have had this car for 5+ years and have had many oil changes and this is the first time this has ever happened and the only time I have used this company to get my oil changed. I reached out to the company to speak with someone and was told someone would reach out to me to discuss. After a couple more months I have yet to be contacted. Do yourself a favor and take your car literally anywhere else.Review fromYvette Y

On 12/08 I visit location *********************************************************************** to have my oil changed. I arrived and the gentleman ask if I wanted the same oil I last visit, which I could not remember which oil I selected. So, I ask him what type of oil I selected last visit, and he advised me that is a synthetic oil. I said oh ok, then before any service had taken place, he brings me a bill for $94, I said WOW, what brand of oil is being place in my car, he makes the statement, it's because of the type of car you have. But keep in mind that was not my question, so I ask him again what brand oil is bring place in my car he states either you want the oil or not because I can put whatever kind of oil in your car and f*** it up and you can walk home. I said, I only ask you a simple question, I just want to know why type of oil is being placed in my car. You the one purchased this kind of car, so this is the type of oil that is needed for your car, I said but you gave me a choice. So, the guys started laughing, I said excuse me sir I am not laughing I am being serious with you, and I am asking serious question because as you just stated this is my car. So, he goes and get another guy make the statement "I am about the slap the s*** out of this bitch". At this point I am wow I have never been treated this way, if he did not know the answer to the question, then that is all he had to say. I have filed a police report because I felt threaten and for him to do all of this in front of my kids was called for. I will be taking this matter as high as I can. And also, there where 2 other workers who witness the entire incident.
