On 7/29/22 I went to Take 5 Old Change at ********************************************************** to have my oil changed. After my oil was changed and I started my vehicle to leave, my oil light came on and my car started dinning notifying my something was wrong. The technician told me to pull around the building again and pull back in so he could check everything again. The were a total of 3 technicians working on the vehicle but ***** is the only name I have and he checked the vehicle again and could find anything wrong. The friend riding with me was checking through my owners manual and saw that it should only have 10w-30 oil so I asked him about the oil. I only had a cash register like receipt and told him it didn't say anything about the type of oil that he put in my vehicle. He said he was pretty sure he put that type of oil in my vehicle and perhaps I needed to drive the vehicle a bit to make the oi light go off and the dinging stop. I drove approximately a mile to a mile and a half and every time I stopped my vehicle, the oil light came on the dinging would start. I immediately returned the vehicle and was told they couldn't do anything and to take to another place. The next morning I took my vehicle to the dealership where I found out Take 5 old change put a defective oil filter on my vehicle causing damage to my oil sensor and the oil check valve. The dealership documented everything and told me to take their documentation back with the damage filter to Take 5 to get reimbursed for the damages. $1650.00 in damages and they refuse to pay for any damages. The district manager will not call me,, the only number to the cooperate office is a customer service number. Left 3 messages and no returned calls.. It's Aug 5 and cannot get a resolution from Take 5 and *************** the shop manager says the District manger says they will not pay for the damages.

This review is incorrect. The customer visited ******** on July 28th for service on a 2014 Buick Encore with a 1.4 liter motor. The required oil for this vehicle is 5W30 full synthetic which was used on the vehicle, this vehicle does not use 10W30 motor oil. In addition the filter used to service this vehicle is a cartridge filter, the correct filter was used to service this vehicle as well. Ecogard calls for the filter X10592 to be mounted on the motor of the 2014 Buick Encore. The service at Take 5 was completed to specification for this vehicle according to the invoice provided to the customer.

We went to get an oil change today. The attendant asked if we wanted the same oil that we bought before. We said "yes" and also proceeded to get an air filter. The **** ended up being $104 because the attendant failed to let us know that they were no longer selling the oil we requested and went ahead and put a higher priced oil into the car. The previous oil change from this place was around $65. The attendant asked if we wanted a discount; there was no discount on the final ****. I will never take my car to Take 5 again,

Only because these no 0. They have incompetent employees that forget to put the vehicle back right. When you talk to them. They promise they will make things right, but then theres always a reason why they cant. When you try to call the corporate office you have to leave a message and no one returns your call. You fill out the form on line and the manager to didnt follow through calls you and still doesnt repair your vehicle. No one knows who the Gm is or how to get I. Touch with anyone. Im out $113 for a oil change that screwed up my truck that will cost me more to repair it myself. Please beware!!!!

For myself I take much pride in my vehicle maintenance, always keeping up with oil changes, tire rotations to name the least. My normal dealership was busy on the day I needed to get an oil change before leaving town so I decided to bring it in to a Take 5. On 5/9/22 I had my vehicle serviced for an oil change at ****************************************************************************. The technicians seemed tired and over heated although I figured I could trust them to do their job with the routine oil change. Mind you my vehicle is a 2016 Honda civic and has a factory metal plate that is required to remove when doing the oil change. One of the younger technicians yelled out to the manager and said that my vehicle had a skid plate. So the manager went underneath and removed the skid plate. After everything was complete I asked them to let me know if everything checked out ok which at the end of the visit the technician which in return was one of the managers on site told me everything looks perfect and even proceeded to check my tire pressure. While I was driving down the interstate that same day my skid plate underneath my vehicle flew off my car behind me nearly causing an accident. I called the Take 5 location and spoke to the manager about the incident and he suggested I purchase an aftermarket plastic replacement off of **** and offered to zip tie it back on my vehicle. This of course is not acceptable. I contacted my car insurance and my deductible is $1000 plus my vehicle will be unusable during the repairs. I have also tried calling several **************** lines at ******************** 6 616 32 ******************************************************************* site of receiving any replies. When you call the customer service numbers the only option is to leave a voicemail for someone to call you back which now it's been over two months with no contacts back. I am severely upset with this companies business practice and feel this company is one big sham.

*********************************************** is not a corporate owned Take 5, that shop is owned by a franchise owner that is independently owned and operated. In addition, ******** did contact corporate customer service and we followed protocol and opened two cases and escalated both cases to the franchise shop. Case #TAK-274183 was opened and escalated to the franchise shop from the phone call the customer placed on July ********. **************** also opened case #********** for the email the customer sent through email. That case was also escalated to the franchise shop. The customer also called back for an update on two other occasions and every contact the customer placed to the corporate customer service team was escalated to the franchise shop. Since the franchise shops are independently owned and operated, they are responsible for their own repairs and reimbursements for customer issues related to their shops.

Just wanted to add yet another 1 star review to the countless others. They misthreaded the oil pan s**** and all the oil leaked out over time. Ruined the engine starting it up later. Heres the key of how they get out of their constant s**** *** and claims from hiring inexperienced kids. If you choose to use this company, and your vehicle breaks down anytime at all after CALL TAKE 5 FIRST AND NOT YOUR MECHANIC. I know its counter intuitive.who thinks hey my car broke down I should call the last quick change oil place I used a while back? Nobody and they know it. A mechanic so much as touches your car and they get out of any responsibility. This is why they can exist with so many constant mistakes. Not to mention the management of this location is just as lame as the service. Pray you dont need the manager there to do anything for you. Theres a ******** page about people who hate Take 5. Champions of ruining engines and getting out of responsibility.

Customer drove **** miles from ***** and back, he parked his car and it sat for several months. After attempting to drive his vehicle after it sat, he made it a few blocks down from his house and the car shut off. He had the vehicle towed to his mechanic and inspected. The mechanic is claiming there was a crack in the oil pan which caused the oil to leak out and cause engine damage. The customer had the serviced December of 2021 then contacted Take 5 seven months after the service concerning the oil pan. This claim was denied due to exceeding Take 5's warranty terms that are printed on each and every invoice provided to our customers.
