      Eventually, I was helped (more like herded) by a gentleman who was EXTREMELY irritable. I get it, we're all human. But he just kept adding on the layers. Everyone has bad days and people **** sometimes (yes, including the customers). Never mind the initial LONG wait.. what is NOT understandable, NOR acceptable is the fact that I concluded my oil change, then literally made it only THREE MILES up the road before losing the front half end of my skid plate due to it being poorly attached. I was now stranded. Meanwhile, the Take 5 technician advised me to drive the car anyway, metal scraping and sparks flying... No sir. That's not safe. This 5 minute oil change turned into a 3.5-4 hour ordeal, with my husband and I rolling around in a gas station parking lot just to be safe to drive the car! Once I finally made it back SAFELY, the Take 5 technician who was so seething -also the one who failed to secure the skid plate- ultimately ended up just slapping on some zip ties. This guy needs a new job pronto! I won't be back. Oh and with respect to how many characters I can include here... it ACTUALLY gets better. Possibly, the second wait was so much worse because they were also working on another vehicle that had been damaged in a separate bay!! Something about a broken off dip stick. Sounds like a real pain! Two in one day! Not great! Nonetheless, our full time investment for our **** minute oil change is as follows: initial wait time: ~30 minutes; initial service time: ~15 minutes; vehicular failure and evaluation: ~45 minutes; second wait time at establishment to be greeted: 1.5 hours; second wait time at establishment to actually drive off: ~30 minutes. That is roughly 3.5 HOURS of unnecessary roughness, y'all. And I am being kind on that time valuation. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

      Basic oil change and replacement filter should be no problem, right?I got mine done recently with Take five off Bell roads new location. A day later I noticed my car having issues right before all major bills were due and I was hurt as I'm also a ridershare driver. I called my trusted mechanic business (Anyplace Auto) and they couldn't see me until the end of the week (so I couldn't work). It only took him a few minutes before deducting it was probably the air filter ...brand newly installed air filter from Take five. I purchased a new air filter from the dealership and had my certified professional install it. Car runs like it's brand new. I take my barely used filter back to take five and the manager tells me there's nothing they can do since someone else touched their work. What a joke! Let me say basic services are not basic when they cost you over $1000 in late fees, lack of working, and car repair fees. I ask, if you can s**** up something so basic, what else are you liable to damage and take no responsibility?I will also say I'm a ridershare Driver with over ****** rides under my belt and a 4.99 out of 5 rating. I belong to several rideshare groups around the nation. I'll be a driver on top of my profession for a while, which gives me plenty of time to share my experiences with my passengers and my groups.Below is a picture of the cheap air filter that was shoved into my car incorrectly, bending it and causing my sensors to go off and almost ruined my car. Needless to say, their neglect will just be a negative story shared among thousands of people around the country.

      I have been calling countless numbers to try and reach an actual human being to get someone to rectify the damages these people have done to my car from a pisspoor oil change. Only the car wash section answers and they refuse to get you to a supervisor and all other lines of contacts never get responded to. This is unacceptable. NOBODY should ever take their cars to this company. I have to pay to have my car repaired while still fighting for my money back from the actual company. A JOKE

      Take 5 ********** ************* location district Manager ******* is racist. She tries to cover up wrong doing for her employees. Her employees are big liar don't know how to probably do oil changes, put wrong oil in my car and don't want to take responsibility! If you can't afford to take a loss or few why start the business! Your staff is horrible! If it was your car you would want Justice! Just rude nasty liars!

      Take 5 has messed up my car 2 times now. They have put the wrong oil in my car now the motor is knocking. I have went to COLLEGE RD IN ***** ** FOR A LONG TIME. I tried to get Corporate number they refuse to give it to me. THEY THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME WILL DEARLY APPRECIATE IT. I have been giving them my $$ just for them to be this nasty to me !! I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY COULD BE LIKE THIS HELP !!

      Customer drives a 2014 ***** Impala according to her invoice for service on march 21st. The correct oil was used. The 2014 ***** Impala with the 2.5 cylinder motor requires 5W20 synthetic and that's what was used. I will be more than happy to provide the customer a copy of the invoice. Please contact customer service at ****************************************** to receive a copy of the service invoice.

      On March 19, 2023 I had service at **** ***************, ************* ** ***** location and they damaged my vehicle. After the oil change, they damaged the skid plate. They forgot to put some of the screws back in place. The skid plate ended up hanging down and got damaged. I went back to "take 5" and they admitted the mistake and attached the plate back. It fell again while driving. I went to their location with an estimate of the damages and they told me it is my word against theirs now and refuse responsibility. They claimed then that the skid plate was already damaged and zipped tied when they service the car, even though I was not informed of any previous damages at any time during or prior to service. Previous oil changes have also been done at Take 5.

      After getting my car serviced at Take 5 for years, the oil filter housing needed to be replaced because of over tightening and stripping the cap. I took it to a dealership to have it replaced at a cost of $300. After no resolve or even hearing back from the manager and corporate I am very disappointed and can't even speak to anyone at the company regarding this because none of my messages are returned.

      Some girl there didn't thread the oil filter right on my wife's car. She drove around not knowing the oil was pouring out and the car is now ruined she also said the woman there was extremely rude to her. People like that don't deserve to even have a job.

      They charge about $40 more than anyone else around and they tell you wait in your car it'll be 10 minutes I was there today spent $90 for a synthetic blend oil change and I was there a good 40 minutes and I don't know they were doing something to my car that I did not hear them doing to anybody else's I got really overcharged and it really sucked I will never ever go there again and I will never recommend them to anybody else

      I went and got an oil change.they charged me 100 and 2 days later my engine started leaking oil so bad I had to have almost **** worth of work done to it. They didn't fill any of my other fluids in which come to find out my radiator had cracked from the pressure of the oil and another 600 worth of damage was done. I called them and they completely ignored my call for almost 2 weeks. Not returning my call when I left multiple messages with their answering service. They gave me the excuse that my car was old. My car didn't have a leak when I went in and when I came out oil was pouring out from the gaskets. I had no fluid in my over flow for my radiator. My windshield wiper fluid was completely empty and my tires were filled toooo much and my windshield was not clean. I gave them ***** for doing damage to my engine and I was completely floored by the manager and employee smelling of this pungent odor. Laughing and not paying attention to me and talking about other things instead of paying attention to giving me an oil change with the services I was paying for. This is a place where I have had no is***s from other locations but the one on hwy 22 in ************** was horrible. If I had the money to *** them I would. At another location they broke off my dipstick in my engine in which I had to pay 30 and get another one. They gave me the excuse that it was dry rotted. All of these locations need to have everyone retrained. The 5 minute oil change will do damage to your engine because they rush through the service and DONT PAY ATTENTION TO QUALITY SERVICE. THEY JUST WANT QUANITITY.
