    I HAVE HAD CAR SHIELD ABOUT 2 YEARS AND THEY HAVE DONE 2 CLAIMS.ON MY BUICK ENVISION AND WITH NO PROBELM THEY FIXED THEM. AND SAVED ME ALOT OF MONEY.

    I signed up and paid on time for year for the most premium program for my vehicle. I initiated a Thursday 04/24. I sent my information twice online with no response. I finally had to call and set up the claim through a personal assistant. I attempted to use the roadside, spending 20 minutes giving my information to somebody only to be called back 15 minutes later to have to give the information again because the person didn't save it on the computer. I then requested a tow. CAR SHIELD advised me it would take an hour. I finally got called by the tow company and they told me it would take 3 hours. By then the shop would be closed. I then tried to get on Friday with the same results. I then called AAA and they were able to tow it within an hour to my requested repair shop. When I initially started with CAR SHIELD they told me I could use a shop of my choice. I talk with my mechanic today. He advised me of the problems that he had dealing with the claims representative. He first advised he was going to use an OEM replacement denso part for replacement. He advised the CAR SHIELD advised them that he had to accept a part from one of their vendors. In addition, He said the CAR SHIELD would not cover some of the labor. They would only be covering approximately $600 of the total bill. With the approximate estimate I would have to pay $200 for the deductible and additional $300 and change to cover what CAR SHIELD was not going to pay. This would put me out of pocket $500. He advised me that the company is only covering approximately $600 of parts and labor. Lastly, he told them that CAR SHIELD tried forcing him to also apply a 12-month on all parts and services. After hearing this terrible news I called the CAR SHIELD claims department. They confirmed the out-of-pocket cost that would take for me to get this claim taken care of. I asked them if they were going to send a new OEM part. CAR SHIELD advised me they were going to send a reconditioned OEM part.

    I have had Carshield for 4 or 5 years. I have used them twice for covered car repairs. They save me alot of money both times. I would recommend them to everyone. My warreny will expire September 2025 and I wil renew if possible and approved for renewal. I am very pleased with them. When I have called them with any questions I received professional and kind service, questions anwered and overall great service.

    I have a 2013 ********** outlander. I had engine problems. I put it into the shop. Carshield said they would pay diagnostic as long as they can cover it. If not they will pay half. Made sure everything before I put it into the shop because I dont have the funds. Anyway, had it in the shop over a week. **** saying further diagnostic was needed. They wanted the mechanic to take a microscope pretty much or take the engine completely apart before determining. At the end I had to pay over 1k to get it out of the shop. Nothing was covered. Oh sorry they paid like 200 dollars. So I was 1k in the hole. The car sat in my backyard for almost a year because I couldnt fix it *** carshield wouldn't. Due to the "specific" part of the engine. Anyway, I've been saving up for attorneys and I finally have enough so im going after them for fraud. Because not only did I have to pay out of pocket. I lost my job due to no vehicle to transport my toddler to childcare. Biggest scam. They will not cover everything their advertisements are false.

    I paid extra monthly for an "older" car, (over 200,000 miles), but learned after submitting claims that the contract had a "weasel clause", which stated that "normal wear and tear" is not covered. EVERYTHING was normal wear and tear, so NOTHING was covered on that older car. The warranty was worthless.

    The tv ads by IceT are misleading. Clearly written by a lawyer. Listen to it carefully. Its crafted to make you think all is covered, but not the case. For instance car shield even includes car rental options. Cleverly misleading! Options? Hmmmmm. And theres more. If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS!

    CarShields prices are ridiculously high, and they keep calling me even after Ive asked them to stop. Their opt-out form on the website requires a Customer ID, but its unclear where to easily find this unless youre already a customer. Please remove me from your call listshow many times do I have to ask?
