I was very pleased when CarShield paid for a complete replacement of my transmission in my **** Fiesta. The company paid for the labor hours, transmission and also a fifteen day rental car from **********. I paid my deductible and a very small portion of the repair bill that was not covered. Furthermore I would recommend CarShield and tell the consumer to read your policy properly and keep up with your scheduled maintenance on your vehicle.CarShield

I sent my car to the shop. The shop called carshield to inform that I was in need of a new engine. Carshield sent out an adjuster to look at my car and take pictures then report back. Then they sent out another adjuster he took pictures. I guess they figured the first 2 adjusters didn't know what they were looking at and sent out another. I called carshield everyday to see if they were gonna approve the fix. 2 weeks went by. The shop gave them the recommendation of engine. They said they wouldn't cove a new one. They will only pay for a used one. I never had one person dedicated to my claim. When I called them it was always a different person. Carshield had the used engine delivered to the shop. The shop had a $600 handling fee. Carshield said they will only cover $150. Then upon inspection of the used engine there were broken parts on it. The shop and I called carshield. They wouldn't pay for the broken parts. My shop took the parts off my old engine. Then, the shop called carshield to see if they would cover the spark plugs and oil. They said no. It's not part of the engine. Then the shop called them to see if they cover the nuts and bolts that was supposed to come with the engine and they said we don't cover that. The shop had my car for 7 weeks! So by the time I got my car back. I owed the shop $927. I had to pay for what they didnt cover. I paid my $200 deductible, the $450 handling fee, and $327 in bolts screws, oil, spark plugs. They were very difficult to deal with. I had to call them for updates. They never sent an email a text or a phone call. The shop and I discovered they aren't much help. I canceled my warranty with them. And they still call me looking for my monthly payment. I hear more from them now cause they want money. Than I did when my car was in the shop.CarShield

They have lied to me for 3 years this is a very untrustworthy company that will not follow through with the original contract but they talk a good talk I was told when I went in the garage lobby by an older couple that they had also been screwed. Please be careful with this company. **CarShield

Car shield is worthless. I have been paying ****** every month for over two years. Had an engine problem, 2014 kia ********* Kia ********************** would not work witgh car shield and nobody else would. Car shield would not help me at all. Had to pay for rental myself because nobody would deal with them.They are worthless, I sho.uld get my premions refunded, Car shield is a worthless company. They should get the worst rating possible. Beware of car shield.CarShield

I recently needed my CarShield coverage for a problem with my a/c distribution. The problem was repaired, the CarShield team was excellent and the completed repairs and interaction with CarShield could not have been better. I would not hesitate to recommend CarShield to anyone that is in the market for extended warranty coverage.CarShield

**** Car They sold me a policy for $120 a month. I've paid it monthly every single month with the peace of mind in knowing if my car breaks it'll only cost me $200 WRONG The dealer now is charging me $765 because Carshield uses "A different Labor guide" My Chevrolet car isn't at *** ***** Mechanic Shop its at the Chevrolet Dealer, I'm pretty sure the ***** dealer knows how long it takes to fix a ****** NO Carshield says no they don't.... If this is how Carshield is going to so their customers, I dont want to be a customer.CarShield
