Customer since 2020 no claims. Air is out and can't get nobody to deal with them. After searching 4 months. I found a company and once company submitted diagnosis they wanted more proof. This company really didn't want to be bother but given it was a small job decided to try them . Yes I'm still riding in a hot car. Me and my children suffer from heat exhaustion be soak and wet going to church. I be soak and wet going to work. This has to be stop. Taking people hard working money when things have sky rocket and make it hard for them when service is needed.Review fromThomas M

I signed up specifically to get coverage on my government mandated diesel emissions system because they always fail. They said that I had to have the gold policy in order to also get the aluminum policy that had an add-on option to cover the emissions system. It was a total of $230 a month but I was "guaranteed" that my entire emissions system would be covered. Well now my emissions system is failing and the total repairs will cost $4600. Carshield is refusing to cover any of it, even though the contract states some of the components are covered. The repair facility called them and they say they won't cover anything, then I call and they say some of it should be covered and to have the repair facility call back. When the repair facility calls back they say they won't cover anything. We've been through that circle of phone calls 8 times over the last week. THIS PLACE IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND CRIMINALLY PROSECUTED. I'm filing a complaint with the ***** ******** ******** ******. If I had just put that $230 into a separate account every month I'd be able to afford to pay for the repairs out of pocket.CarShield

This company is a ****** ***** company who claims that they pay off claims but in the end **** percent of the time they dont. Even when after reading your contract and seeing that it covers a part you need they still leave you out in the cold. The one percent if there is a chance that it does cover it? They get you with the difference that they refuse to pay like if the job goes past their calculated hours you end up paying the difference. I went to different mechanics who said the time frame nationally is 1.9 hrs but according to car shield it is 1.4 hrs so if it goes over you the customer pays out of pocket. The same goes for the diagnostic, if the diagnostic is above what they want to pay you pay the difference, AND get that, car shield claims goes to a third party who is totally lying saying they cover you 100 percent and all you have to pay is a 100 dollars deductibe, not true, most of the time you end up paying the difference. My sister had to pay **** dollars for something that was supposed to be covered by them but never ended up covering it. It was a timing chain that she had coverage for but they (car shield) just bailed out. On my part although they covered doors actuator I had to pay ********************************************************************************************* the contract. I stopped them so did my sister. Do yourself a favor and dont choose them because they are scammers and many places refuse to work with them and said they are the worst. Commercials you see with actors like ********* saying they cover everything, **** this guy dont need car shield to fix his car his is a celebrity.CarShield

This is a scam. The dealership won't take Car shield because they don't want to pay claims. I was told by car shield to follow the claim process and they will reimburse me. The calls are recorded so it can be checked. NOW they don't want to pay. They cannot pay the car owner for repairs even though they have the receipt, but 3 different reps told me they would. It would take **** days to receive my money. They have no problem taking your money. It appears they plan is to keep it and not pay for legitimate authorized repairs. No wonder the dealership is refusing to take the plan.CarShield

I am giving them a one because I have to leave them a 1 order for me to proceed other than that I would never gave them not even 1 star I am dissatisfied with this company I do not recommend this company to anybody not to anybody not to anybody not even to my worst enemy so as you know I went to break master cause I have a lot of problems wrong with my truck I was told that my deductible would be a $100 as I see I feel that this is a scam is a scam it's all a lie and there are not fair we are paying monthly ***** And that is Money has just been thrown away Now since I'm having this problem with my alternator and rewiring Some of the things that cause the alternator to go out go out and my wiring got burned up and and a whole bunch of other stuff now make story short I found a claim Some of the things that cause the alternator to go out go out and my wiring got burned up and and a whole bunch of other stuff now make story short I filed a claim With car shield to get my truck fixed No the price came out to be like $1400 In my case I'm thinking that I am going to pay a deductible a $100 in that case I end up paying $788 so where is the deductible a $100 I feel like I would cheat it lie to and many more. So when you're in up sound and out with car shield please make sure you read everything about the contract cause if your alternator costs you like $590 ****** is not gonna cover that car shield will cover up to $290 on your ultimator now you gotta come at your pockets to pay the rest so where's the deductible $100 you don't get one it's all lies And it's not fair now since I did this and I have to pay $788 out of my pockets basically my basically my business jets close that I just open That I will try to leave something behind for my kids when I die But it's a long story I'm not gonna get it too Only way I'm gonna forgive them they will have to we we burst me some of my money back and pay for this whole car repair situation I trusted car shield. The signing up part was easy as can be. I should have done my reviews before signing up. Ive had car shield for 5 months and they have had my car for two of those months. I have lost my job and I have been evicted due to not paying rent. I dont know how I can continue to making payments if I dont have a car. I thought this would be a great decision because Im in ***** alone and dont have a trusting repair guy to help me. Ive lost everything but my car so far. My car went in the shop June 15 2022. It is august 13. So tell me that I shouldnt be frustrated. Then they expect you to keep up with your payments after not having a car for 2 months in a city with no support system or city busses. Im feed up. I wanted to keep the coverage but now I have to get myself out of a **** situation because they did not want to fix my car properly the first time. Oh I forgot I pick it up a month after and I didnt even make it home safe. So please someone explainCarShield

Its all sugar honey and milk untill you need it! they say it frankly they dont cover your issue and wished me good luck !! like i said all honey untill you need it!! 100 ways to dodge you and explain you that the issue you have its not covered! very rude woman on the phone wished me good luck and hang up!!! I have had my car in ************** auto for two weeks, waiting an an adjuster to respond to the shop about covering the needed repair. We get pleasant reassurances from them but no action, no return calls and up to 1 hour and 45 minute on hold with Car Shield. I have paid for the coverage and am not getting any service.CarShield

I called to request information from carshield in May. That was my first mistake. The salesperson kept dropping the price of coverage until I agreed with the stipulation that a contract would be emailed to me to look over and I would be able to set up billing arrangements. I authorized a 1 time payment. After reviewing the information, I decided that I wasn't interested and made no effort to arrange billing. In June, I received two texts requesting payment. I did not respond because I did not want the service. That was my second mistake. The company deducted a payment on July 5th and again on July 20th.Today, I attempted to cancel my "contract" with the company. I spoke with customer ********************** who very politely transferred me to "a specialist". I explained that I did not want to continue their service and wanted to cancel my contract effective today. She asked why and I explained that I did not want the service and was not interested in being charged any additional charges. I tried to be polite, but firm. She asked if I still had the same vehicle and I said I did. Then she started talking about pre-existing conditions could not be covered. I interrupted to tell her that I had filed no claims for any coverage and merely wanted to cancel my coverage today. At this point the specialist said that she couldn't help me if I continued to be rude and talk over her. She recommended that I call back on another day. I never raised my voice, I only repeatedly asked to have my contract cancelled and billing stopped. She politely wished me "good day" and ended the call.I immediately called the bank and cancelled my debit card. I would not recommend beginning ANY conversation with this company.CarShield
