I had Car Shield for 2 years NEVER cover ANYTHING on my vehicle and I was paying them ****** a month and Im requesting back ALL my money they only gave me back one month. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!CarShield

Carshield is nothing but a Scam, first of all I was suppose to have gotten the best,most expensive plan available ( i got the diamond package), first my air would only come on unless it was on high also, needless to say my audio system went out days later (when it rains it pours), they told me the package i had covered everything including electrical, after I had followed all of their requirements Carshield had the audacity to tell me after I pay my $100.00 dollar deductible of a $5600.00, not to mention i had to pay for my own rental car ( thats another lie Carshield told), repair that they would send my dealership a $89.00 check ( i was like What the Heck!!!), Carshield told a reputable Toyota Dealership to use substandard (Used), parts on my truck what Carshield also fail the tell people is that Carshield are just underwriters, I found out they work with three other insurance companies, I was under ******** **** ****** and let me warn consumers or by far the Worst, they probably pay all of ****** ****** * *** repairs for getting on TV and lying to millions of people every day, but for a already struggling person (who already borrowing from Peter to pay Paul) like me, if it was my motor that had went out I would have been walking, PLEASE TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW TO POST THIS ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA SITES SO, THEY WON'T GET SCAMMED BY CARSHIELD. Car shield was great at first until we found out they have a lot of repairs and parts they do not cover that will leave you stuck with the bill. It cost us $55 to cancel our warranty. Your car need 4 hours of warranty cover repair time before qualifying for a rental car. Most connected parts to your engine, transmission and other major parts they do not cover that's where car shield got us. Example, my car was stuck in reverse parts and labor time 6 hours. Car shield rejected certain parts they do not cover and labor time connected to our repairs. Labor time was dropped to 3.9, disqualified for a rental car and left with the big bill. We learned about them through experience because car shield do not show a clear list of everything their warranty will not cover. So, stay alert, ask for their warranty list of everything they do not cover before signing up you maybe surprise or rejected of this information because these things are not included in what they have advertised.CarShield

This WHOLE Concept is fishy! I should have known better than to trust a company like this. I have been paying my monthly faithfully on my '03 Cadillac Deville, & spent good money to maintain it. I also wanted peace of mind knowing that I can also have a security blanket in a Extended-Warranty Service like CarShield. My car Finally broke down after a little over 3 years of payments, and I thought, "At least I have CarShield!" Boy was I in for a treat. Not only did they eventually deny my claim of a $5,000 Transmission repair, I paid for towing & 9 days worth of a rental car. I was denied because my Transmission broke down incorrectly... I was going to give this vehicle to my mother to drive after it got fixed, because of her own car issues. Thanks CarShield! *SPOILER ALERT* They will look for ANY possible way not to help their faithful/paying customers, and for that reason I regret my decision of the Legal-Robbery CarShield engages in. On June 30, 2022 while out of town, my 2015 Ram **** lost power. I located the Dodge Dealer in this town. They advised me they no longer accept Carshield submissions. The service advisor explained this was based on very poor customer **********************. I located an auto repair shop in town who also stated they no longer accept Carshield. I went ahead and payed for the repairs myself. After returning home with receipts, I contacted Carshield who was very quick to reject any of my claim. Their main reason was my not contacting them for approval. On a previous incident, it took almost a month for approval and over 90 phone calls from the Dodge service advisor and myself to get approval. I am cancelling my policy.CarShield

I have a ********************************* good shape for the age. I am currently at day 16 since I submitted my claim with Carshield and I was denied the proper funds to properly fix my vehicle. Facts below.1.Page 3 of 14 section B.2 of my contract states transmission and all lubricated parts including torque converter covered. So Im very confused as to why Im not getting approval on the full amount required to properly address my transmission issue. 2. The indicator light with a D with a line through it started flashing on the dash the afternoon of June 15, 2022 3.On the way to the repair shop on the morning of June 16 the check engine light also started flashing on my dash. Dropped my truck off to the shop. The shop confirmed the transmission issue on this day. Claim was submitted 4. Got a rental car on June 16 and will be submitting a claim for those charges spent over $350 already and will probably be an additional $350 since I will need it for another 2 weeks in rental charges even with my military discounts. Will you all deny this too?5.Car Shield inspector confirmed the issue with the transmission within the first week 6.I was forced to provide maintenance bills for the past 12 months. You can see that I addressed all recommendations during several multi-point inspections over the past 12 months. And recently had maintenance done at the ******* dealership on June 2 and no indicator lights were observed 7.I was forced to pay $165 for a pan inspection. Did not see that as a requirement in my policy. Repair Shop voiced this was a strange request since the inspector already confirmed the transmission issue 8.Was approved for only $957.29 to address some torque converter item which will NOT resolve the issue with my transmission I am extremely dissatisfied with the service Ive gotten from Carshield. The repair shop has been following up on this for me daily and responses have been very delayed and only met with what I would call stall tacticsCarShield

Buyer beware! They get their money faithfully ever month, but the last two times I needed repairs they left me hanging. On 06/27/22 I was told they wouldn't cover air condition repair after I was told they would cover repair. I will say they covered a repair in the past but that even came with certain limitations. Actually I was very impressed especially at the car dealership. They said they had no problems with Carshield. It went smoothly. I was very impressed. I was skeptical at first because of the first experience I had but I think it was handled wrongly on my end. I'm highly satisfied with carshield.CarShield

CarShield did not honor my warranty. I had my 2009 Honda Van Odyssey License No. *******- Mileage 80,437 towed to Clinton Transmission, **** *** ********** ***** ******** *** ***** on 8/23/21. I had to have my transmission overhaul and was charged $2,890.00 out of pocket for something this company was supposed to cover. I didn't know what to do until several people told me to contact BBB but I couldn't get through until I was just given this address and decided to respond because individuals should not be taken advantage of and I am on a fixed income. My warranty had not expired and I was in the office when the manager called CARSHIELD and my claim was denied. CarShield advertises falsely what they will do and that you can go to any shop to get your vehicle fixed. I paid $195.00 upfront and $157.00 was taken out monthly for 21 months for CarShield. My warranty does not expire until 2023. I am very disappointed in CarShield and the nerve of them not to own up and have actors and actresses do the commercials for them. I was taught your word is your bond. You reap what you sow.CarShield
