Car Shield that I signed up for, is a complete scam. I was told work was approved I had it done but Im paying for it myself, I was never reimbursed.

It was good. It went pretty fast. I believe the service is very good considering what I paid for the repairs. It would have been a lot more had I come out of pocket.CarShield

We had car shield for a while now our car over heated 1 time we filled a claim they denied our claim said that it was a preexisting issue well our car was taken care of it looks great BUT only 1 issue with our car it was DENIED NOT NICECarShield

If I could give 0 stars, I would! I have been a loyal customer to this business for 2 years, despite rumors and horror stories. But I finally experienced it for myself! My car began develop issues with the transmission. When I first noticed difficulty with accelerating, I contacted ******************** which is the Claim side of Carshield to determine how to I should proceed with filing a claim and obtaining a rental. I parked my car, until I could find a reliable car repair shop that I could have it towed in and evaluated. Once I found one of their recommended repair shops, my car was towed in and the results were consistent with Transmission failure, and I would need a new transmission. The process with car shield was dragged out to say the least. I called NUMEROUS times, to confirm rental car benefits, and attempt to expedite the process of inspection and whatever else car shield was doing! It took a month to get my car back! All of the rental benefits were out of pocket amounting close to $1200. They only offered to pay $132 *** on my repair stating they will only cover labor, when there claims representative stated they would cover inspection and wait periods due to car shield hold **** They did not want my auto shop to supply the transmission, they wanted to send their own. Who does that? It is a complete rip off! I want a refund for as a resolution for extensive wait times and rental car costs. I do not recommend. Beware! They say you can take to car dealerships, but every major dealer does not want to work with them do to the level of difficulty.CarShield

No stars!! I have had this policy in hopes of not having to use it for over a year. The day came that I filed a claim for electrical issue and they won't cover it.I CANCELED THE POLICY!! SO DISAPPOINTED!!CarShield

Took my car to repair shop ,Had to pay out of pocket Was told CarShield wont pay their bills Tried to get a refund ,Carshield wont pay Because they didnt have a ************ though I got permission on the phone.Paid premiums over $1600. Repairs $766 Dont be a sucker.Review fromDonita H

Can't give a zero. Check engine light started coming on and off couple of weeks after getting carshield. Knew this would not be covered yet so paid $4k out of pocket, filed no claim: Radiator leak, oil pan replacement (can't just replace gasket anymore!) , transmission flush, tune up and other small stuff.4 weeks later check engine came back on after long vacation trip. Took to same shop. Diagnosed as Turbos needed replaced. Due to previous repairs, Carshield said it was pre-existing condition and would not cover. I bought because I had 140K miles on truck, stuff will break. Not everything is a pre-existing condition. They tried to tell me the repair shop was just trying to make more money. 6 transfers and 30 minutes later I hope to have my contract cancelled.And now I am having to pay $5k out of pocket to replace turbos.CarShield
