    Car Shield is a SCAM! Do NOT use them. They do not honor thier contract and will deny your claims for reasons that have NOTHING to do with you or your car! READ all the complaints by just googling car shield reviews. Multiple class action lawsuits and a long history of complaints with the Better Business Bureau! Weve put money into it every month and they deny claims because the car is still operable and then when the car breaks down because of the same issue, they deny it because we drove the car. Every single claim has been denied.a MAJOR scam! Nothing in the printed contracts are actually covered without being interrogated and wanting to see ALL of your maintenance receipts. This company should be shut down IMMEDIATELY

    I had car shield for there years before I first put in a claim. On my first claim they only paid less than $200.00 I had to pick up close to $1800.00. Second claim was denied and third only paid again a very small portion I paid $1200.00 I cancelled it's cheaper to pay out of my pocket

    Huge Scam!! Do not use this company. A sensor went out on my vehicle and we took it to the dealership immediately. The Dealership initiated a claim. We waited for 5 days and the company did not contact us. We called and they said someone will all us back. The Dealership said they have a bad reputation for not paying out claims. But in good faith we continued to call and wait for a call. It was day 12. and we authorized the dealership to fix the car. On day 15 in the afternoon, Car Shield called and said oh you have a claim you want to discuss. The Representative started to ask me questions about how i discovered the issue. I explained and then let him know that the car is at the dealership and I authorized the charges because I could not wait any longer. He clearly told me we will not pay out, the contract stats on every page that very clearly that No claim will be paid out without prior authorization. He said yes, he knows that they took longer than normal but he could do nothing for me. The scam is for you to pay on time every month and when you submit a claim you are at their mercy. You have to wait for them no matter how long they take. BIG SCAM! NOT WORTH THE MONEY! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

If you have experienced a mechanical breakdown please reference your contract and follow the claim process and have your repair facility contact the Administrator to facilitate adjudication of your claim.

    These guys are very corrupt. I gave them a one star review through a site called ***** *****. They had it removed.I would stay clear of these guys and don't trust anything you read on ***** *****. It's controlled by the almighty $$$$.

    It was great. I feel that Carshield really helps when it comes to having major work on your car when you don't have the money for it. It's a great opportunity to get your car fixed.

    I purchased CarShield after a pricey repair ($1600.00+). When it was time for more repairs, I called CarShield and asked what to do prior to bringing my car in. I was instructed to bring the car in to the repair shop and give the person checking me in numbers to reach CarShield and start a claim. I was told by the CarShield representative that would be all I needed to do. This was in the beginning of August (8/8/22). After leaving my car in the repair shop for a few days, I received a call from the shop with estimates on when parts would arrive, and work would be done (late September). I was also told they couldn't get in touch with anyone at CarShield to start a claim and find out what was needed which prompted me to call CarShield for help. I was told by CarShield the repair shop needed to send documentation. This is something that should have been communicated between CarShield. I relayed the information to the repair shop who informed me CarShield was not very responsive. Five weeks later, the repair shop called me to say my car was ready however they've not had any communication with CarShield. Again, I called CarShield to see what was holding up the process and was told the repair shop should reach out to the adjustor with a final invoice and after 2 hours, payment would be sent. As this was the end of the day, the repair shop and I agreed to speak in the morning. Again, I relayed the information, and the invoice was sent. The next day I checked in with the repair shop to see if payment had been received so I could pick up my car and found no payment had been received. Both the repair shop and I called CarShield. I spoke to representatives who said they'd check on it. After getting off the phone with CarShield, I received a phone call from the dealership stating, "I'm so sorry to tell you this but CarShield is saying they aren't paying the claim because the work was not approved because of something you did not tell us was in your contract".

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY HUGE SCAM!!!Had this service and every time we took our vehicles for repair either the company they said took CarShield didn't or once the claim was submitted for authorization CarShield denied. If you gonna have to pay for repairs and warranty says what is covered then find a way not to cover or pay for it might as well pay yourself without this warranty service. This service is not made for Georgia. Will not recommend this service to anyone.

    I canceled my contract with carshield after two months because I could not afford it at this time. They took two payments out I received one payment that day for one month and they said the second payment would be mailed in 30 days. I haven't received it called to find it and they're saying that it was refunded already. I have there email and it says I'll receive two payments that they took out. And now they are refusing two refund the first payment. I wouldn't use these people when they will rip people off even when you have proof of them taking advantage of you.

    Car Shield is the most underhanded company I have ever dealt with. I was paying my bills on time each month and then as soon as something happened to my car, they were drilling me like they were the police and I was sitting in an interrogation room. Why you didn't do this? Why you didn't do that? Why this and why that? I'm like hold up now, I'm paying you all so I wouldn't have to worry about all of that! So I'm wondering why would a company drill me like that when they should have just said, don't worry Sir, we got you! When my transmission went out, it took several phone calls to different repair shops because whenever I would mention Car Shield to them, they would stop me in my tracks and say, oh no, we are not dealing with Car Shield. They don't like to pay and we don't like how they treat their customers. Now that has to be bad when you are known around the Auto Repair Business as being a rip off to your customers to where the mere mention of their names brings an instant bad taste to their mouths. Lo and behold, just as I was warned, they denied the repairs to my transmission that was definitely covered under their policy and all the monthly payments I paid to them were all in Vain. I am ready to join the class action lawsuit that I am sure is going to be brought against them because everyone who I talk to who has dealt with them has had the same bad experience; as evidence by their **** Customer Review Rating with the ****************************** my Head!

    Took my car to a certified dealership on June 6 2022 took 5 weeks to get adjuster/inspector to send an email to car shield, I then authorized dealership to tear down car so they did has been tore down since August 5 2022 and dealership and myself have been trying to get adjuster/inspector to come back with no resolve from car shield. They won't return dealership or my calls. I have request a different inspector/adjuster with no resolve keep being told it will be 24 to 48 hours for response but never happens. I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy's. Car shield has had 6 weeks to respond to our request with no resolve. They use a 3rd party adjuster that they pick and is completely useless
