I'm dealing with a horrible situation now. I had "Carshield back in Oct, Nov. And let it lapse. But I had repairs done to my car, and no issues. There were some with parts, but it got resolved. Anyway I signed up for carsjield again. I waited the waiting period then took my car in because of a transmission problem and spme.minor issues. I went to the dealership to get it repaired. They found the transmission leak and an oil leak(had no idea) They sent out an inspector prob not a mechanic who somehow determined that my leaks were years old. Impossible.!First of all, the mechanic told me it's virtually impossible to determine the age of a leak. Second, I had the car serviced at Meineke under Carshield and they did not see any leaks. If they did , they would have told me and fixed them. So how did their idiot inspector make this determination?So. I'm inthe dispute process, and yet nothing is fast with them and I'm having to pay for my rental. Gonna cost me money I can't afford. This is a summary, but you cannot talk to the adjustors or inspectors somehow they don't exist. Weird. 1 I haven't asked for a refund yet, but I will and any forums I can complain about that they won't fix covered repairs(to do all is gonna be expensive) . I'd be happy with partial. So anything I can do to have people not believe the actors I will do. I'm gonna look to another, reputable company.CarShield

These people are scammers and will take advantage of you and not cover anything and not provide any customer **********************. Absolute scam please save yourself the grief of making monthly payments to them. I put my late dad's 2006 SUV Jeep Commander (I wanted this Jeep in commemoration of him after he passed in 2021) in the car dealership in Nov. 2022 and after them telling me to get a 2nd breakdown, I wrote a complaint to them asking why should I after car dealership sent them first pic of breakdown for $800 and they wanted them to send a 2nd pic of breakdown which would cost me triple that amount. ******* Car Shield their sister rip off repair company who stated if they were to repair it they need for me to ok the 2nd breakdown. Then they denied me Feb. 2023 which is why I put in my complaint to them firsthand. ******** CS ignored it. Car dealership told them it was the piston. Now I was told from CS that if dealership would have removed top off valve is all was needed after the fact. I'm pissed!! I cancelled my coverage after paying $900 from October 2022 until February 2023. I feel helpless and it's nothing being done to give me satisfaction. My car is still at Dodge Chrysler in ***** and I don't have the funds to have it repaired and left with cost of the breakdowns. It should be a law against this. I didn't read in a so called handbook about if pistons were eroded vehicle would be denied!!! I don't know how they continue to do this to ** & sleep at night! I told them, I'm not rich like those actors promoting this heartless company! Hopefully the news channel here in ***** can assist me. This is not over!!! Prayers.CarShield

This is the BIGGEST LIEING COMPANY EVER!!!! I have been paying for coverage for over 2yrs. The ***** VALVE went out on my 2006 Saturn Vue & because it's in the TRANSMISSION it's NOT COVERED!!!! they say on the commercial TRANSMISSIONS are COVERED but it's a LIE!!!! WHATEVER YOU DO DONT BUY INTO THIS COMPANY.....IM CANCELING MY COVERAGE ASAPCarShield

CarShield ( aka ******** *********** ****** *****) is a complete scam, a ponzy scheme, a fraud. If you dont believe me read over $3,000 complaints by unsuspecting victims they defrauded. CarShield can afford the extensive advertisement because they deny, decline, reject and refuse to pay on the majority of claims.
I am now a statistic of this ponzy scheme like over 3,000 others more than 1.300 consumer complaints in one year who were defrauded into believing they were paying for coverage that Carshield would never pay.
You know they are really bad when the dealerships such as Chrysler auto dealer and others refused to service cars that are under contract with CarSheild et al** ******** **********.
I should have taken heed when my dealer refused to work with Carshield. (My dealer does outstanding work, agents are upfront, honest and the company has an impeccable reputation in the industry and community.) .
I was drawn in by the ads, the phone calks calls and emails. After 1 1/2 years paying Carshield et al., approximately $99 a month. I called to report a mechanical breakdown claim. The customer service service reps, Supervisors and adjusters were very mean, rude and hostile. I was treated as though I went from customer care service to late stage collections and I dont owe them anything, they owe me. I am merely asking for help they promised in time of trouble. Its bad enough to be ripped off but a whole lot worst when the company is hostile s abrasive.
In addition I had to take my car to a repair facility they sanction. I paid upfront $155 for diagnostics, the car shield adjuster asked the repair shop to perform additional work without notifying me without asking my approval without telling me of the additional charges for work that they weren't paying for but ask to be done. I could not retrieve my vehicle without paying another $192 Carshield / ******** ********** requested.

Scamming the Old & Disabled! My AC Compressor locked up & anyone with a Mechanical Nut Brain knows that will Contaminate the whole system! Carshield wants pics of everything & Not guaranteed to pay the diagnosis! (Pic of all 4 corners of vehicle, not sure why) This means the shop has to tear apart the whole system without knowing who pays, if denied! I told them I wasn't paying!
Carshield did cover a few parts only after sending in many pictures to prove failure which my shops computer read out screen shot proved failure & Haggling w/ Carshield!
Carshield sent out their own Aftermarket "Non OEM AC Compressor over a $100 more Lifetime Warranty Compressor! Remember, they tell you, "Non OEM Parts will Not be Approved" so that's a lie!
They use their own Labor Rate Scale that no Shop uses & it's a much lower Labor scale than your shops labor scale & you will have to pay the difference in labor rates. I was told by Carshield, "everything was covered just take it in or they'll tow it including AC Compressor Oil all the way to the Freon!"
Well, they only pay for $7 worth of Freon & I need $60 worth! Plus, now they are saying, they don't pay for the Compressor oil, etc. Your shop has to jump through hoops to prove MACHANICAL FAILURE!
Read The Fine Print People. It's just a Scam to where Carshield will always come out on top! It's taken almost a month for me to hear from an Adjuster! My shop has spoken with 7 different adjusters just to get 7 different answers! 4hrs on phone each time minimum!
I should've saved my money for repairs. I could've bought another car by now or complete AC System!
It's not worth it & please Stay Away!
Keep your receipts also for all scheduled Maintenance also, they will ask for it even for repairs that require Zero Maintenance! Makes no sense to me! Hate this Company & I'm Cancelling after this Repair which I'll end up paying for anyway.CarShield

Apparently ******** ********** and CarShield do business as in entity and neither one is realizable. My car had an issue and needed to be towed to the dealership. When we called they kept saying my contract was not active, in which it was! Kept hanging up on my husband everytime they so called tried to transfer. I just needed up using my *** and paid out of pocket. When it came to reimbursement they didn’t want to do it because my husband name was on the tow ticket which I understood. I paid for it, but he handled it because I was inside working. We added him as a authorized rep on the profile (thought problem was solved) re-submitted the reimbursement for tow and was told it was going to be sent within 7-14 business days. We are now at a month. I call back today and they are saying they didn’t pt it because it wasn’t in my name. Apparently they inputted my husband name wrong on the profile. Which (on a recorded line, which they like to say) I told them the right spelling of the name as well. At this point it’s the principal of the matter. Now I have to wait another 7-14 business days to find out if they won’t send the check again. We are going on a month and a half with this timeline. This is ridiculous and an uncalled for process. Supervisors are rude and not helpful.CarShield

As God is my witness whom ever see this comment please and I state please.. stay away from this company carshield they don't like to honor there obligation to you but like to take your money every month for subscription U can't even use with that being said I joined on January 16 2023 there's a 500 mile requirement which I've met so I wanted to take advantage of my policy and get my brakes and oil change so I take my jeep to the shop on February 2 2023 apond getting to the shop I hear a ticking sound as I ask the shop to check that as well as to my surprise they put in a claim and I was denied because I didn't meet my 20 day grace ****** which from January 16 to February 5 would have maded 20 days!!! Which I was three days shy of so now I have a vehicle stuck in the shop that I can't get out. They have the nerve to advertise this service on TV and radio. please as to the consumering people please stay away from this company were they will take your money!!!CarShield
