    I had Car Shield for about 3 years, I called twice and everytime I called it was denied because it wasn't covered. My plan was suppose to cover engine, transmission, electric, etc. Little did I know that it's only certain parts in the engine, transmission, etc. I suggest you read your contract closely. I wouldn't ever give Car Shield a 1. Also if they do approve they want you to use off brand parts.

    I had canceled my policy with car shield a couple of days after my policy due date. Lo and behold, they will not refund my money. This company is a rip off. Bad business. I would not ever refer anyone to them.

    If I could I would give this company a way below star 1 value. This company is the biggest ripoff.
    Paid on a policy for over 4 years and jerked me and my mechanic around for 3 months then denied my claim. My car was a very well maintained car. I have papers on all the services done to my car. The engine failed do to a valve seat malfunction which ultimately blew the motor. CarShield says that it denied my claim because of carbon buildup. My mechanic disagrees with that. However we have no recourse. Paid all that money out to CarShield as piece of mind only to be car-less and I still owe my mechanic for all the diagnostic and tear down that CarShield requested. My suggestion to anyone using CarShield to cancel them and get a policy from someone that you know you can trust

    Car Shield is a total rip off. They will use cheap replacement parts and will not pay for cover the cost of repairs. We had over 900 dollars in repair costs and they only were willing to pay only 265 dollars and we had their Platinum Plan.

    They don’t cover anything. Had the most expensive coverage to ensure anything ever went wrong, I would be covered. This company doesn’t even cover bolts that hold on an exhaust manifold. If they don’t cover bolts, do you really think they’re going to cover anything else. Best to just shop another warranty company. I got ******* out of the work now and have to pay the diagnosis fee. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY. I PROMISE THEY WILL NOT COVER ANYTHING.

    I have a month-to-month policy - #**********. When I signed up, I was told I could cancel any time. It renewed and I was charged on 2/19/2023. I called and canceled on 2/20/2023. Car is not functional. I will not go into details. I called 2-3 days later to ask about a refund. I was told no refund. No discussion about it, just no in a rather rude way. The contract states, "If cancelled within a RENEWAL TERM, YOU will receive a pro rata refund..." I guess I will have to take time out of my day to call, hopefully not talk a rude person again, and maybe, possibly get this resolved. Based on my experience with this company, I have low expectations.

    They lied about coverage and only want your money. Took my car in to be told it has to break down completely and then they just might fix it. As if now i have to go rent a car pay way more money while they fix it. And didnt mail me a policy or even make it available on the app to view. When time came is when they were like we can email you the policy. Even the machinc tech were telling them what needs to be fixed and they still refused. So now i have to fike a complaint cwith BBB and the ******* ***** **********. To get my money back. Took money from my account on the 2-17-23 to cancle me 5 days later because i wanted my money back. And policy is still not covered fir the rest if the month. So i have all the time in the world to file until i get my money back been with them for a little over a year. I just want my money back sunce they cannot hold to theirvend if the deal.

    I got this policy about 4 months ago 2 weeks after the purchase of my 17 ****** Altima. Everything was well until the check engine light went on and the engine shaking started.Called car shield and got my car to the shop; shop finds the issue and car shield says everything is covered except the diagnosis.Which is fine to me they made that clear. But then the shop says I have to give the approval to car shield to send the part.I called Saturday 2/18 to approve the part. My car has been sitting in the shop for over a week now, not being touched because CarShield has yet to contact them after Ive called and gave " approval to send the part to 3 different representatives; all assuring me that the claim was being moved forward and everything was being handled. I don't understand what more I can do to move this claim forward Im heavily considering canceling my policy because its costing me more trying to find ways to and from work while my car is sitting in the shop waiting on Carshield

    This company is a scam! After many months of paying my transmission went out and they replaced it with a transmission out of the junk yard which broke down a few months later after I canceled the policy because they put a replacement used transmission instead of rebuilding the trans which they wont tell you is the problem. They are not paying for repairs just a replacement used parts shipped to the dealership or shop!!

    Beware of #****************** Claims Information provided by #CarShield I ask for an amount per month and when you have the proplema they disappear and don't respond to me they reimbursed 0 for an engine problem I think it's fair to do a class action to me they created a damage to me because the repair was waiting at #******************Claims Information provided by #CarShield now I contact a lawyer to sue them they didn't give neither tow truck nor rental car
    I will make the claim and ask for damages with my attorney in $court
