    Once you cancel your contract there is not a way to remove the credit card on file. I chatted with Customer Service and they could not remove it either. As a customer you should be able to remove your personal payment information after cancelling.

    Everything they said was an outright lie! They made promises they never intended to keep. I was told I was completely covered 24 hours after signing up. I explained my situation to the sales person. There was some sort of a transmission problem since I bought the car in 2017. I've had is checked out by multiple independent mechanics, who all gave my car a clean bill of health. About a month before I purchased the policy, I got another diagnostic, which came up clean. Not long after buying the policy, my car broke down. And it started from the very beginning. The tow was supposed to be covered, it wasn't. I had to get the car to the shop myself. The rental was supposed to be covered, it was only covered for 10 days, when it took over 20 days for them to even deny my claim. Then I went back and forth with them for over 2 months getting "reviews" to get the work covered. It was eventually again denied, after I already paid them another $400. By that time, I gave up. I took a handful of pills with an empty bank account and a freshly paid off car that no longer worked. And I buried my head in the pillow for months. I finally reached back out to them and they just laughed at me. I have absolute proof this was not a "pre-existing" condition. I have proof from multiple mechanics. So how is that legal??

    My car has been in the shop for 3 weeks. Car shield sent out their own people to diagnosis the issue ptu was leaking fluid automatic failure of part. Car shield told the shop they'd only pay for fluid and gaskets for the part. Due to an automatic failure the part should be covered per my contract. They refused. I've paid 150$ a month for bogus insurance.

    CarShield has been a complete nightmare. This is the second time I have purchased CarShield warranty because the first time I had a nice experience. I took my car to a reputable dealership within my community the first week of February. This dealership was also approved on their list. They diagnosed it needing a rear differential. The adjuster didn't agree. I thought an inspector was going to come to make a decision but instead I was told to take it to another mechanic. Again, I took my care to another reputable dealership. They diagnosed it needing a rear differential as well. Once again CarShield does not agree. They want the dealership to follow this "tree" before approving. This "tree" is NOT realistic! I also was only approved to have a rental for 7 days. I am going on a month without my vehicle. I have learned there are companies that will NOT work on vehicles that are using CarShield as their warranty company due to the hoops that the mechanics have to jump through. CarShield has unrealistic things that they want the mechanics to do to further diagnose the problem. Things that once they take apart they will have to replace no matter what and risk not getting paid for the part or the services because technically it wasn't approved. Both of the dealerships that I took my vehicle to are well known in the community. They would NEVER fraud a warranty company and run the risk of ruining their own reputation. Ever since my first complaint I no longer get their "surveys". I asked to speak with the adjuster who keeps denying the claims and was told "the adjusters do not call customers". I am also contacting the Attorney General's Office to inquire and/or start a class action law suit against this company. I was forced to give it a star. I purposely left them blank!

Offering a service that js not offered to customers in ********** because of a substantial list of restrictions and regulations that prohibit potential companies from offering or providing services to their products to the general population of **********

    The mechanical breakdown insurance policy is provided by *********************************** (****). The policy is sold and administered by ******************* (******) ************************* Services, CA license #*******. ****** representatives are individually licensed and appointed to ****. CarShield does not sell to ***************;residents. When a California resident calls CarShield and it becomes known that the customer is calling from **********, ********************** ensures that the call is transferred to ******, and the call is handled by a licensed and appointed sales representative. When a customer purchases from ******, they will receive an MBI policy, not a Vehicle Service Contract.

    I've been with Car Shield since 2020 and recently filed my first claim and the customer ********************** person I spoke with was super nice and helpful got my claim approved with the first call, my wife's car warranty is about to expire and I'm going to be calling them for a quote, I know it won't be the same price I got 5 years ago but still will be using Car Shield, I know there's a lot of other car warranty companies out there but I trust Car Shield and you should also, they have been around for longer than the other ones, thanks Car Shield for helping me with my claim, looking forward to getting my other vehicle insured with you!!
