Terrible experience, awful company. I have been told multiple times someone would reach out to me and they have not. There was no progress on my vehicle in 3WEEKS!! the only thing customer service can handle is me approving more expenses. I am a very disappointed customer that has acquired nothing but more fees and an awful experience. Do yourself a favor and find another warranty company. SCAM SCAM SCAM

I gave a 3 star rating and not a five star rating because the first 3 agents I spoke to tried to claim my car wasn't cover because it was a 2012. They knew I had a 2012 ****** when I signed up for the plan some years ago. I had to keep calling and asking for corporate office to get my car fixed. The mental stress of fighting to get my car fixed was too much. I had to pay out of pocket expense for some of the labor because Carshield didn't cover all the labor. Carshied paid little over $4800 for engine repair and I paid little over $600. The staff seems to be trained to initially deny your claim in hope of you accepting their decision of denial. I stood my grounds and didn't take no for an answer. Atlee Body Shop spent alot of time on the phone with Carshield trying to help get my car fix. In the end my car is driving like a brand new car.CarShield

As a retired handicapped senior living on a very restricted income my only major concern is the extremely high service insurance coverage charge for my only means of transportation that I barely put only ***** miles annualy on my van that I personally keep in my garage all the time and do maintain it with repeated service updates of oil changes, battery replacements, tires updated and rotated, annual inspections and license/registration renewals, as well as having to keep it constantly filled with high cost gasoline in order to assure my availabllity to get to my medical appointments and to be able to go shop for food {both grocery and fast food/restaurant dining}.. Since my initial purchase of Car Shield I have only had to request service once {which was not a major one} and now I need to request again which is not a major one but only a true inconvenience.. So far, as to the one time service the only thing I would advise is to make sure you contact them FIRST {as stated throughout the contract} then be sure you know what's approved.CarShield

This company fits the stereotype of a typical insurance company to a tee. Always looking for a way to get out of paying for repairs. Even their "explanation" was a joke. First, they denied coverage on the engine for lack of proof of the failure. Then, when the piston O-ring showed up in the oil pan, they denied coverage on the engine for information that was made up. Trying to blame the dealership for information they received, but the dealership doesn't have said information, couldn't ever get said information, nor would they ever give it in an opinion. I've cancelled both of my policies, and I will never do business with them again. What a waste of money.CarShield
