    They don't honor what they say. They may pay for little jobs that don't cost much but if you need an engine which I did and my contract covers engine and drivetrain Etc they come up with every excuse not to replace it. I had coolant mixture with the oil due to failed water pump but didn't know until my motor sounded funny, by the time I checked the oil it was too late so they said that was my fault and weren't going to cover the motor when I've already paid over $1,000 into them. They said they would credit me the price of a water pump job towards a new motor and the price of the water pump they only credited me $700 and something dollars when it cost over $1,000 to do one on my car. They are scamming people and that is sad. I I'm on disability and only get paid once a month. How can I afford an engine that's the whole purpose of getting the insurance. And asking for a refund is out of the question they told me it was a month-to-month contract so they weren't going to refund me anything. I could have put all those payments towards an engine.

    Customer Service Rep Jasmine took my call & kept me from making a huge mistake by canceling due to my health issue that just hit my pocket. She stopped & explained to me the possible outcome if I canceled & registered after 6 months. Thank you for the help Jasmine for getting my to where I'm not losing the possibility of coverage on my 2016 Traverse & 2018 Tucson

    I have had Carshield insurance for 2 years and am very happy with them. We had an issue with my car , the cc axle ,water pumps also other things, had to be replaced. I went through the dealership to ensure that it would be diagnosed properly and they took care of everything! They contacted carshield and it was all taken care of. I am grateful that carshield stood behind their word and honored the commitment of the contract without any hesitation. Thank you Carshield! From Blenchorn . L

    I would give CarShield a zero if I could. My experience with them and the shop, ******************, has been incredibly frustrating. They engage in a classic good cop-bad cop routine, pressuring you into upsells.CarShield doesnt pay taxes on their services and makes the contract holder responsible for all taxes, which raises serious questions about their practices. The shop charges a flat fee for diagnostics, which should be covered under the contract. However, if ****************** finds additional issues that arent covered, CarShield expects you to pay part of the diagnostics fee. This feels like outright robbery, especially after youve already invested time and money.The upsells become necessary because CarShield refuses to pay the shop their standard rates, only reimbursing what they deem acceptable. This leaves you with the financial burden if you want your car fixed, making you feel trapped after investing in their services.The shop owner often blames everything on CarShield while digging into your pockets for inflated charges just to get your car back. CarShield also opts for the cheapest parts, which could create more problems down the line, leaving you in a tough spot if the part is defective. You often have to wait several days for parts to arrive, further delaying the repair.If you voice your concerns, expect a frustrating wait of 24 to 48 hours for a response. When the shop doesnt provide the parts, they refuse to warranty the work done, leaving you with an improperly repaired vehicle.On top of all this, you still have to pay your deductible, which adds insult to injury. I dont have faith in any insurance companies when it comes time to pay up; they seem more interested in collecting money than fulfilling their promises. If anyone claims to have had a positive experience with CarShield, I feel they are misinformed. Save your time and moneythis experience with CarShield and ****************** has been a complete disappointment.
