    My sisters vehicle has been at a repair shop for over two months with no progress made due to ongoing issues with Carshield . Prior to bringing the car in, she had an active warranty, and previous repairs under that same policy were completed without issue.However, in this instance, the company requested receipts for services completed over a year ago. Despite complying and providing all the requested documentation, they have yet to authorize or begin any repairs. The mechanic has already disassembled the engine and sent all required photos to the warranty company. The mechanic has also confirmed that the necessary repairs should be covered under the policy, yet they continue to be stonewalled by the claims adjuster, who has repeatedly asked for documentation already submitted.Both the mechanic and my sister are extremely frustrated. My sister, a 65-year-old woman, is experiencing significant emotional distress as a result of this situation. It appears this company is intentionally delaying the process and potentially taking advantage of elderly customers.This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with any warranty company that engages in such practicesregardless of the celebrities they use as spokespersons.

    Carshield is not perfect. Read your contract and the exclusions; make sure you talk to your shop first and they will accept what Carshield will pay out for the repairs. If your shop charges more, you will have to pay the difference. With those caveats I can not complain about the experience I have had with Carshield. They have paid to replace both my turbo and engine on my Range Rover. They are definitely not a scam like some people have reported, but your repairs need to follow your contract.

    Hello. My name is ******* *****. I purchased their service on 3/5/25. The service I purchased was not appropriate to my cars mileage, so they changed the service which meant I needed to pay an additional *****.After my husband looked over the service, he stated that all the major work has been done to my car over the past 2 years and we decided that the service would not work for us.I called to cancel on 4/1/25 and spoke to ******, who stated that I would receive my refund of ****** in the next couple of days.I, indeed, did receive a refund of *****.....the difference I paid for the change of programs.I, then, called again and was in contact with ***** who listened and stated that my refund should be in my account, no later than 4/8/***** is now 4/9/25. I spoke with a gentleman today by the name of ******* or ******. He stated I would receive my refund in 30days and I stated I need to speak to a manager, which he replied that a manager would be calling me back in ***** hours from today..While writing this review, I received a call from Carshield, stating that I should have my refund after it is processed and sent out, which will be on 4/11/25......after it is sent out, I should receive it in two to three weeks because of the transaction being a transferred ********** that great ********************** or what???!!!OR WHAT.

    Great news from our dealership that our expensive repair job was going to be accomplished and covered by our Carshield Plan. We received timely communications from the Dealership as well as a Carshield representative. Easy. Stress-free. Thank you so very much. As with any "insurance" plan, you never know when it will be needed . . . hopefully never, but thankfully when you most need it.

    Complete rip off! They don't cover what you need and there ridiculously expensive. Warranty companies leave a lot to be desired, you have to read the fight and print because you can almost guarantee they won't cover nearly anything you need. Good luck and don't say it in warn you

    Dont know what everybodys talking about, but my situation is I never had a problem with car shield. I had a problem with my power window called them up. They found the mechanic to fix it went there. They fixed the motor carshield paid them right then and there and I got my car back with no problem. Thank you car shield keep up the great work.

    I was told on Feb 24th when I was considering cancelling that I didn't have to pay for February and payments would resume at the end of March. I was told today that it was only to post date the payment for Feb, not waived. I feel completely betrayed by CarShield and will never use their services again.

    I'm so glad I took out a Service contract with *********************** 2021 ***** silverado 2500hd 6.6l, engine was diagnosed as blown and they covered a new engine and 2 weeks of rental for me. Saved me.Thank you so you so much for all your help

    Can I give a zero this company is terrible. They never pay out in claims and if they do think you might have a claim, you have to leave your car at the facility while they make a determination of if your claim is valid and if the parts are from out of state, you have to wait until the parts come back in and then the facility has time to fix your car. Ive been delighted every claim that I have posted other than car towing.When I try to cancel, they went on and on and on about how the other company was lying to me and theyre shysters and they were just looking out for my best interest and I said thank you but I still like to cancel. They put me on hold I think it was for the person to Gather herself and come up with her next bill about why I should cancel. Should not cancel with Car Shield they offered me a whole $14 a month discount to stay with them while I was only paying about $30 more for a complete package with the company that has a very good rating but she kept going on and on and on about how I was being swindled and I should stay with them I told her I was busy at work. I didnt have time. She said theres a process we have to go through. I said lets do it And all she did is repeat again about how the company was swindling out of my money and she just wanted to do the best for me 23 minutes later I finally get my Car Shield canceled two hours later. Someone is calling me for my monthly payment. Do not go anywhere near Car Shield. Thank you

Based on this review records indicate that a pre-claim was started. However, a diagnosis and estimate for the needed repairs was never received. The claim was marked inactive. No actions could be taken without a diagnosis and estimate for repairs to adjudicate the pre-claim according to the terms of the Vehicle Service Contract-Customer Relations
