    Myself and my sister are both clients of CarShield and CarShield has proven to be an a-rated company in our eyes. My sister has had a claim for her transmission of over $6,000 for her car, there was no delay and her car was fixed and back on the road within 3 weeks and no money out of her pocket. Myself I have had CarShield and had no problems for 2 years every time I call I get a reputable representative and very attentive thank you CarShield.

    Worst company ever! I paid a few years on my warranty and then got behind due to my wife serious medical and called to catch up my two missed payments. I teiednto call on April 18 tomoay and tey cancelled me on April 15th. Told me all my money paid in was gone even thougg I never had one claim. Very rude as well! Use extreme caution! I should have my self when Insaw allmthe bad reveiws beforehand.

    As stated within your contract, "You may cancel this contract by either contacting the Administrator, in writing, at **************************************************** and submitting a request to cancel or by failing to make your renewal term payment within forty-five (45) days of the contract payment due date." Your contract was cancelled due to non payment that had exceed 45 days. If you wish to set up coverage once more, please contact ************ to speak to CarShield's customer **********************.     I was given the sales pitch about all the stuff they cover and convinced it was a good deal. Until we had a high pressure fuel pump failure. I called them and ask if they cover even tho it says they do. They assured me the pump is a covered item and the diagnosis would also be covered since it was a covered item. When the bill came they nit picked it to pieces and told me it's $920.** and you will.have to cover all of the repair since it's in the 90 day window. I understand the probation time but. I called the dealership to find out the bill is actually $1,****** that we would have to pay that's clearly ****** over the $1,000.00 deductible when I called them back to explain they told me they don't approve of the shops labor I said you picked them as an authorized repair dealership but you don't agree with their labor and we have to be responsible for the difference that was a red flag and a big NO for us. We are very disappointed with their treatment I can't imagine what they would expect us to pay if a motor or transmission were to go out.

    It's a scam. I signed up and paid the premiums. When engine went out on my car, I contacted CarShield. They told me to take it to shop of my choice. Only one shop in my area said they would work with CarShield. Therefore, I had car towed to the shop. (At my expense with no reimbursement). Shop diagnosed a bad engine. CarShield even sent someone out to check on car also. Next, CarShield wanted shop to completely tear engine down to find root cause of failure. (At my expense. CarShield won't pay for this.) Shop quoted me $500 to tear engine down. I didn't want to pay this fee because CarShield didn't approve the claim yet. Shop said it was better to replace engine vs tear it apart and rebuild engine. CarShield would not pay the shop anything. I had to pay shop all their expenses. Therefore, I had pay again to have the car towed back to my house. CarShield told me to take it to a different shop and they would tear it apart for free. I asked them where? Every shop I called said I would have to pay for everything upfront. This wouldn't be so bad, If I knew I would get reimbursement. I told CarShield that they were a scam being they would not pay for anything after a break down. Every shop I talked to said engine was blown and it was cheaper to install a new/rebuild engine vs tearing my engine apart and rebuilding it. Unfortunately, CarShield bullied me out of fixing my car. The only way they would even think about paying anything towards my repair was after I spent thousand. CarShield bets on their customers not being able to pay for all of thier required wasteful diagnostics. Don't uses. Save your money.***** *.

    She was so helpful and courteous. She explained in detail the contract so I had no trouble understanding. Except for the deductible, Car Shield paid for everything on my ********. So happy I chose Car Shield.

    If I could give CarShield a lower review, I would. I tried to file a cliam. My repair *****, Midas, tried for 3 days to speak with someone at CarShield and was continuesly put on hold for hours. No one from CarShield would speak with me about filing a claim myself. I was told that the repair shop had to file the claim. I had to pay for all of the repairs out of pocket becuase no one from CarShield would talk to either myself or my repair shop. Shame on you Ice-T

    Not only did they tell us they would not fix vehicle, told us our paper from dealership were fake. Now we have to hire consumer protection non-accident, lawyer! Do not use car shield!!!
